Ballard Builds - Basement Finishing

If I could give 6 stars, I would. We are a young couple and have a baby on the way, both working, so we were nervous about paying to finish the basement, and the time it might but really needed the space. Kevin made it so easy—he shared a google calendar of everything that was happening and when, pushed subcontractors through and sped up timelines where he could, and was super quick to solve any problem that came up. There were a few subcontractors that came in under budget and he reduced our payments based on those savings, which was honestly incredible. Everything was done in about a month. We’ve already recommended him to friends and family in the area, and will definitely be saving his contact for if we move in the future. Absolutely impressive and professional.

Ballard Builds was my choice of contractor to help me finish my basement. I loved the work that was done. It was a very easy process, Kevin took the time to explain every step of the way, every adjustment was done with care and transparency. I had few custom requests and he was super eager to make sure it was done the way I wanted. Definitely will work with Ballard Builds again in the future.

I am so impressed with the work he did. Not only was he amazing at building but hr kept in contact with us through the whole thing. Anytime I felt a bit stressed he took all of it away! Kevin was awesome to work with. He helped us finish out basement. He helped procure multiple sub-contractor trades for cheaper than I got bids for. And I got 3-6 bids for every trade. So even after his fee we saved money in the long run

He was transparent with all the numbers, communicated well, was on top of the trades guys when they needed it. Very professional. He also let me do some work myself (I’m a trim carpenter) and also let us borrow his paint sprayer to paint ourselves. Super awesome
