Oscar was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad that we found him! He recommended that we paint the house white with black trim and it turned out amazing. It feels like we have a new home. As a small business owner I know how important reviews are and I’ve never written a bad one, but the work that Oscar and his crew did on our kitchen cabinets and front door is so bad I felt like people should know before they hire them. It started in August 2024. Within days of the work being so called completed the cabinets were chipping and peeling. On the front door you could see shiny and dull spots. On the cabinets you can see sponge marks. Oscar did come out and redo the work. However were still having the peeling and chipping problems and now he won’t return (blocked) my or my husbands calls. He also painted the living, dining room and hallway which is fine other than the paint splatters on the floor, carpet and even screen door. I guess I should have looked at their work more closely before handing over the money.

Oscar and his team did a fantastic job! They painted both the house I'm selling and our new house and I have no complaints at all. They were on time, clean and quick. Oscar is great to work with, very helpful and friendly. I would 100% use them again!

Balcazar painting did a beautiful job of painting the exterior of our 114 year old house. There was lots of porch railing, 2 stories, decking and 4 external doors. Oscar was present and painting himself much of the time. We would use him and his company again for any painting needs in the future.

Professional, positive and on time and did exactly what they bid with no short cuts. Professional, on time, and superior quality! Balcazar Painting and Oscar provided an excellent exterior trim painting touch-up and repair. Attention to detail was impressive. He found areas that were missed or never painted by the original contractor over 16 years ago. Our roof is very steep, and the workers handled the difficult job with ease. They finished the job a day early, and were extremely efficient and thorough. I would highly recommend this company to all my neighbors and friends. We plan on hiring them for interior and front door painting. Great work!

Balcazar painting did some interior accent walls for me in a dark navy color - no room for error! They did a great job and I’ll definitely be asking them back to do some other rooms!

On my eaves on the second floor I took binoculars and looked through them and he never prepped the work before painting also he didn’t paint the ends of my gutters and then end up using his finger to paint the end of the gutters which I thought was just terrible. He was very pushy and wanting me to give him a five-star rating wouldn’t leave me alone with that and I never did I thought that was very unprofessional

Oscar and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house. As an example, Oscar was very helpful in giving his opinion when asked. Not sure if some trim areas would look best painted white or left base color he suggested white, but offered to paint it white and would restore the base color if we liked that better. (White really made accents pop). Company takes pride in giving you the results you will be happy with!

They prepped and painted the exterior of our house. They pressure washed a week prior to painting. Cool Colors was the sub and did a great job- fantastic attention to detail. They were neat, tidy and thorough. They covered our cars and concrete driveway with plastic. Our house is two stories and pretty tall and they had no issues getting to the tall spots. The paint is well done. The house is 2100 sf and it took them 4 days. First day it was 90 degs and the third day it rained so they had some weather challenges and the paint still turned out great. I had a few questions and Balcazar was very responsive.

We had Balcazar Painting paint some interior walls in our office in downtown Tacoma. The walls are a variety of materials (CMU, drywall, concrete) and some are difficult to access. Oscar and his crew did a great job. We are very happy with the end product. They showed up when they said they would, were polite and considerate to our staff, worked hard the whole time they were here and did really good work. The price was competitive and they used the products that we asked them to. (We are an architectural firm. We know paint). We'll definitely use them again when we are ready to paint the rest of the space.

Oscar and his crew are great! I just used them for the fourth time to paint my interior walls, doors and trim. I hate picking paint colors and Oscar gave me great suggestions. He’s always quick and responsive with texts, estimates and receipts. They worked so fast and were super tidy. I work full time and was worried about my two small dogs but they seemed very happy when I came home each day. I can’t recommend them more and look forward to using them again. I was so happy at how nice it turned out!

Balcazar painting did a great job painting the exterior of our house . We cud not quite decide whether to trim railing with dark color and another color of the deck post and around deck and under the front deck. Oscar help and suggested that
Entire deck to be painted the same color to contrast the light paint of the entire exterior.
He never pressure us and it turn out great and very much pleased of the out come. He also painted my old front door which i did not expect
And turn out great . They did an excelent job cleaning up afterwards.

Oscar squeezed in a very large interior paint job during the busy month of August on really short notice. He was prompt coming out to give us a bid, work started on time and with a full crew, and they finished the job super fast. He knew we were scheduling other contractors and that we were on a tight timeline. We were offsite for the duration of the project and coordinating work from out of town, so we really relied on the crew to come in and get stuff done. Our home has a ton of trim and wainscotting and they did a beautiful job. Also, we had over 3000sf to paint with vaulted ceilings....I chose a variety of paint colors for all of the different rooms and shared the list with Oscar via email. All 11 rooms and 4 baths were painted just as I asked with no mistakes. Honestly, I'm impressed at how quickly and professionally the entire job was done from start to finish. From a cost perspective, I think the bid was absolutely fair. You get what you pay for and we feel like the price reflects in our finished product. Thank you Oscar and team, we'll call you when we do our exterior.

Oscar did a great job painting the entire downstairs of my home before the holidays and it came out great. He had a guy that came in and did all the prep work first and then several guys painted.
