Baker Chimney Cleaning

They did not keep two appointments. We were scheduled for Oct. 11, 2023. We encased room around stove in drop cloths as pellet stove soot is very fine and goes everywhere when their shop vac. was used. We spent an hour doing this. They did not show. We called and spoke to a lady at their number who said they were gone and unavailable. We rescheduled for Oct. 23. Down came the plastic. On Oct 23, plastic went back up. They did not show when scheduled and we called again. Answering service said they had a "glitch" and were at someone else's house with same name, but in a different town and offerred to reschedule for 3 days later. At this point we told them "no". We had already been stood up twice and had 2-3 hours in putting up and taking down plastic and clearing the room of furniture.

They did a good, complete inspection of a chimney that hadn't been inspected in years, and I'm very pleased with how they approached the job, and especially how they reported the results, and made suggestions. Recommend highly!

Came exactly on time, very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will be working with them again and I would definitely recommend to others.

Devon and Lucas showed up a few minutes early and were very friendly and professional. They inspected a part of the chimney that was bulging in one of my rooms and reassured me that unless it changed, I didn't have to worry about it, especially since the inside of the chimney didn't display any warping. Great experience, and I'll definitely be calling on Baker Chimney again in 4 or 5 years for another inspection.

You always wonder about the integrity of a company after it changes ownership. Rest assured, the new guy is just as good as Chris. They even wiped down the door handle as they left. Thanks.

Chris has cleaned our chimney's the the last three or four years and we're very pleased. He's trained as a fireman which gives an added comfort that the job will be done expertly!

Don't waste your time. Schedule a cleaning a month out and he never showed up. Multiple calls to his answering service and no call back/no explanation...just an offer by the answering service to schedule another appointment 2 months out. No thanks. Call Lake Region Chimney Service...he was responsive, on time and professional.
