This is our second job with Baird and again, very happy with the completed project. Highly recommend for basic or detailed concrete needs!

Scott removed and replaced our concrete driveway as well as poured a new detached garage foundation. Scott and his crew provided efficient work and great communication. Highly recommended.

Scott, his son, and team installed a stamped concrete patio. The entire project was professionally and efficiently managed and we are quite pleased with the results and the cost.

Scott worked with us to select the right design and materials and he was patient throughout all of our concerns and returned all texts quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that Scott would not cash our down payment until the job began which is unusual these days. The team made sure to clean the site and replace dirt and seed any lawn indentations caused by equipment. No less important in this impolite environment Scott and the team were polite, respectful, and friendly.

Scott and his team did an insanely good job replacing our back patio. Good and reliable communication and Scott knows his stuff about concrete and was able to provide helpful advice about what would look good.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Scott and Baird Concrete Construction. Scott was super-responsive, friendly, and does excellent quality work. He recently installed a large concrete driveway at our house, replacing a pea gravel driveway. The terrific thing was that he squeezed us into his construction schedule, with short notice, before the weather started turning cold. The work took about a week, the crew kept the work-site orderly, and there was very little disruption to our routine. We highly recommend Baird Concrete Construction for your concrete-related home projects.

Our experience with Scott and his team was great. The work was done in a timely manner at a competitive price to a high level of quality. One year later and we are still very happy with the exposed aggregate patio that we had put in. They even kept our dog entertained while he supervised the progress from the deck!

Had a railroad tie retaining wall replaced with versa-lok block. Scott did a great job with not only the wall, but making sure the yard and driveway were restored better than when he showed up. He was personally at my house every day doing most of the work himself. Construction of the wall was all done per the block manufacture specification, and Scott made sure to follow up on the minor details that I requested. Hoping to have him back out next spring to install the concrete driveway.

July 2024 update:
Scott came back and installed the concrete driveway. Amazing work again. Photos should speak for themselves, but he came back over the weekend to clean it off and seal it properly. True craftsman.

Scott is everything you are looking for in a contractor. You call, he answers. You text, he messages back. He says he's coming over, he comes. He doesn't cut corners. He's not taking your deposit to finish another job. He's not waiting for money from another job to finish yours. He has a great crew and all the toys and machinery to get the job done. Baird removed our old paver patio and stairs and replaced it with beautiful stamped concrete. It was done fast, but not rushed. He definitely takes pride in his work. Scott also installed footers for a future patio cover and worked with my local towship for inspection. I hope to be able to use him again on some future projects.

Baird Concrete did a great job from a professional quoting experience to a perfect job. Scott had to match 10+ year old stamped concrete with color and pattern and knocked it out of the park. Very responsive, professional, and executed what he said they could. Pricing was on point, responses were timely, work was executed professionally and on time. Quoted price was the final price. Couldn't have had a better experience with a contractor. Highly recommend.

I don't know know where to begin with Baird Construction and Scott as far as what an outstanding experience we had in dealing with him. We purchased a fixer upper home last year which had a collapsed retaining wall in the backyard and a seriously neglected back yard and patio area. We had several estimates prior to Scott that either weren't very responsive, were way over our budget, or a combination of the two. We had Scott come by for an estimate and not only was he extremely professional and courteous, but gave us ideas on finishing the backyard that we hadn't even considered before. Based off of several conversations with him, we ended up doing a block retaining wall and a stamped concrete patio with concrete stairs leading down to it from a higher graded area in the backyard. We also built a block fire pit on the patio. Scott helped us pick out our colors and design and stayed in contact with us throughout the process, even well prior to his scheduled start date (which was a couple of months out because of the weather). He wouldn't even deposit the first deposit until he started our job, which I have rarely seen. And most importantly for us, he came in on budget. Once he started, he and his crew were there every day for the whole day until they finished. They even went above and beyond the original scope of work with extra grading and finishing work just because he didn't like the way it would have looked had he not done so. One contractor we talked to wanted to charge us almost another $2,000 to clean up after their work. Scott and his crew not only cleaned up completely as part of their original scope of work, but actually improved some areas around our driveway and seriously improved the grading in our backyard leading up to and around the patio. Because of his professionalism, his quality of work, his communications skills, his honesty, his fair pricing, and the pride he takes in his work, we will almost certainly use him again if/when we decide on another project for another part of our yard.

I would highly recommend Scott and his crew. They recently put in an amazing looking stamped patio with sitting walls in our backyard and we couldn’t be happier. Scott was incredibly helpful and patient guiding us throughout the process. Super attention to detail and always focused on our satisfaction…..Scott was truly a pleasure to work with.

We cannot imagine a better construction experience. Scott and his team were outstanding to work with. Our patio project was somewhat unique because our existing back patio also served as the ceiling to our well room within our basement. The existing back patio was also too high for the roof that was installed over the area. Additionally, our front porch was in need of repair. We contacted several other contractors prior to meeting Scott. Some turned down the job altogether, and others wouldn't make the patio all one level. Scott came in with a "can-do" attitude and talked us through every step of the process to remove the old patio and create a new, lower patio that was all one level. He listened to everything we had in mind and guided us through many important decisions to make sure the installation was done correctly. He also agreed to repair our front porch and install a stamped overlay that matched our back patio. Scott was thorough, thoughtful and addressed every question and concern we had.

Scott and his team delivered on every promise they made. We have never met a harder-working crew. They stayed within our budget, worked incredibly quickly, and the quality of their work was second to none. One of the best parts of all is that Scott was on site every day of the job. Whenever we had a question, Scott was right there for us to talk with.

We are beyond grateful for Scott and his team and the amazing work they did on our front porch and back patio. We can't recommend Baird Concrete Construction more highly!

Scott and his team at Baird Concrete Construction have completed a Versa Lok wall extension and Porch reconstruction for me. In both cases, the finished project has exceeded expectations.

Scott is very knowledgeable and is able to explain a project or concept in a way that's easy to understand. His attention to detail throughout the process resulted in a quality finished product and was a huge help during the planning stages. He will be my first call for future projects.

I would highly recommend Baird Construction. Scott was professional, friendly, reliable and prompt. He tore down our existing deteriorating retaining wall and built a new beautiful retaining wall. He also tore out our old concrete outside front steps and put in new beautiful steps. He also installed a new railing. He power washed and sealed our driveway and also repaired a badly constructed retaining wall which another contractor had not built correctly. Him and his employees did a great job for us. We get many compliments on how nice our house looks now.

Scott and his crew were extremely professional. They installed a wood grain stamped concrete patio and fire pit, as well as my front stoop and steps. The finished product looks amazing, we have received so many compliments. He also worked with my roof contractor to make sure he installed the footers in the correct location.

Scott and his crew did a dyed stamped concrete patio and firepit area in my backyard. I have nothing but positive things to say. Scott kept me up to date with timing (rainy year meant adjustments and Scott kept me up to date throughout). Pricing was reasonable. The work that was done was superb. My patio is gorgeous and Scott and his crew were professional and diligent in their work. Scott was here for the entire thing.

Scott Baird of Baird Construction is the best of the best! I cannot say enough wonderful things about him! He first did our fire pit and retaining wall and then we loved it so much we also hired him to do our front walkway and porch and a large back patio with stamped concrete and it looks absolutely gorgeous!! We were so impressed with his work and we have had people stop at our house to ask who did the work because they wanted to hire him also. As for the other review that he was not professional, I frankly think it’s just not accurate. Scott is not only a professional but is the hardest worker I have ever seen. His dedication to doing excellent work is admirable and it is like an art to him and he is meticulous to the last detail. Do not hesitate to hire him!!!

Scott was unprofessional in every way. He flip flopped on prices and what needed to be done for our project. Every time that I talked to him, I had to remind him of what we agreed upon. Even as far as sending copies of the contract and designs pics. He would not give us an exact start date for the longest time. In spite of my gut instinct, we hired him and then he would not come to do the work the week that it was supposed to be completed. There may be a reason there are no other reviews for him. Do not hire him.

Update: I did ask Scott if he wanted an updated deposit check reflecting the increased price and he replied no via text message. He said that we could settle up when he started the job. Nice try Scott...

In court he lied several times under oath.

Please do not hire him. He cannot be trusted.
