BGC did a great job on our roof! Justin was very communicative with each step of the process. The workers did very good work and were fast and professional. It is a good value as well.

July 8, 2021 I was contacted by a gentleman, Justin Horstman, who lives a couple blocks away from my home located at 116 S. Main Street, Deerfield, Wisconsin. Justin represents Badgerland General Contracting. I said that I needed the entire front porch and roof taken off because of rotting that had occurred. He told me this would not be a problem and he would have and estimate for me by the weekend. He assured me that this was a 2 week job and they could have it done in no time.

Since I did not hear from him over the weekend, I sent a text on the 14th asking if this meant he could not help me. He said he was working on the estimate and would have it for me in 24 hours. A week later he texted me that he would have and estimate for me the next day. Two weeks later on August 5 he sent me the estimate. I took the estimate to the bank right away and they said it would take 4 – 5 weeks to process my refinance. The day that I saw the banker I arrived home to find my roof was leaking in several places. I contacted Justin right away to see if he could add the roof on to the estimate. He said yes.

Since my loan was going to take so long, Justin offered to do the roof right away if I paid $5000. I did that on 8/19. On 8/20 he said they would be there Thursday to do the roof. On Thursday he said we will be there Friday 100%. Then sent a text to say it was going to rain Friday. I told him I was using towels for all the leaks. He said it will be done ASAP. On 9/4 they started the roof and ran several bundles short to finish. He said it would be done on the 5th. On 9/13 they finished the roof.

Long story short, Justin told me they would be there to start 9/18. I have gotten many text messages included two where he promised to be done.
They have still not finished the job. What they have done... not finishing the ground where the first porch was so leaking into my basement, not cleaning up the debris from the first porch but building over it, not replacing the roof of the porch as originally agreed upon. It's 7 months now to do a two week job.

They did two houses and a four car garage in just 2 days!! When they left it looked like no one had been here, perfectly clean. We had just put in sod around both homes and were concerned of any potential damage... There was absolutely no damage... I would highly recommend Badgerland...
