We had a great experience having our shed custom-built and with the customer service at BYL provides. Additionally, the delivery driver, Galen, (Evergreen Deliveries) did a great job bringing the shed into our backyard through a really tight space without any issues. He was also very polite and professional. Highly recommend this company and delivery company for your shed.

The sales process was very easy and they explained everything that would take place. The delivery was great. I couldn't believe that one guy unloaded and drove the shed right into place. Only tough part was building the gravel pad myself. Wow that was a lot of work. I may have contracted that out if given the choice again.

BLC sells quality products and stands behind everything they sell. Customer service is top notch taking care of any issues that may arise. Would not hesitate to purchase from them again. VERY happy with our shed and playset!

From start to finish working with everyone at Backyard living Co has been such a great experience. My husband and I went to their store several times to look at different things and ask questions. They went above and beyond to get answers for us if they did not know. They were patient with me as I had a hard time making decisions and when the chair I wanted, most was not the right height they reached out to the manufacturer And found out that we could have them custom cut to the height we needed. I honestly felt like I was dealing with friends who had our best interest in mind throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend them enough. We will be using them again shortly to order our motorized screens.

Mike and partner came out to assemble my daughter’s Make-A-Wish playset. They were on time, worked efficiently to get the job done! These guys knew exactly what they were doing. Set up their own foldable table to lay out all necessary equipment.
Mike made sure to place the swing set exactly where I wanted it. Worked for about 5 hours nonstop to get the job done and they had a long drive back!
They also followed up to make sure I was satisfied and happy with the job.

We visited BYL on whim, on a Sunday, just thinking we were going to look to see their different options. We were pleasantly surprised that they were open. Ron greeted us, listened to our concerns for storage, and showed us what was available on site. He also explained that we could have something custom made as well. We never felt rushed or pressured. The purchase was seamless and we are extremely happy with our 12’x16’ garden shed. Ron set-up delivery and gave us the information to have a foundation pad made, both went off without a hitch. We definitely will be back again.

We were in the need of a Utility Shed to clean up the garage before winter. A few Co-Workers recommended Backyard Living Co so we went to check them out. We were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door by Ron. We chatted for a few minutes about what we were looking for and he said he had the perfect shed for us so we rode out into the lot and took a look! We then went back to the desk to quote everything up! We then went home to discuss but it did not take long to decide and we were back the next day to finalize everything. The entire staff was very professional and very knowledgeable throughout the entire process!

We had the shed delivered a few short weeks later and again we were very impressed with the professionalism of the deliver driver! The ability he had to efficiently unload and place our new shed was above the best. He completed the job within an hour without tearing up the yard or damaging the new shed!

Our garage is cleaned up now and our backyard is becoming a space where we can enjoy it for years to come. We definitely will be back next year after the patio is finished to check out their selection of chairs and tables!

We ordered several pieces of LuxCraft patio furniture. We were told it would be about three weeks, but the furniture arrived in just three days, and it is on our deck and looks beautiful. The staff and service at Backyard Living are excellent!

Not quite sure where to start but as we got out of our truck Lexi picked us up in a golf cart and we toured the facility, Lexi answered all of our questions and we loved the workmanship of the sheds. Shed was ordered and delivery was 2 weeks early !!! The gentleman who delivered the shed was meticulous on how it was placed on our slab.
I would give them 10 stars if I could, Customer Service was and is continuing to be impeccable, since I have ordered more product from them. Its refreshing to deal with a small business who truly cares about their customers. KUDOS to the whole staff !!!

We purchased 4 Pavilions to be used as rain shelters on the OU golf courses. They look great and fit right in! Working with Backyard Living was easy and they did what they said they would do!

The shed I ordered was great, I have no complaints about it. However, the concrete guy this company recommended was a nightmare to deal with. He never showed up when he said he would, never answered his phone, got concrete splatter everywhere and as of a year later has not (and obviously will not) come to clean up. He also for some reason poured a section of concrete that was totally unnecessary for the shed’s installation, so I’ll probably have to remove it at some point as it serves no purpose and only added unnecessary expense.

Also, the person that they recommended I use to seal the shed so that water doesn’t come in… we paid him I believe $400 or $500 to caulk and it still leaks badly, despite him coming out twice.

The delivery itself went well, and the shed looks great and is exactly what I needed. The office staff was great to work with as well.

But I would have mixed opinions about using this company. Nice product, but we had some fairly big installation issues.

Editing a couple of months after posting: the company contacted me and sent someone out to do additional cleaning and sealing of the shed, and also arranged for someone to remove the extra concrete at an additional price. I definitely appreciate them being responsive and willing to correct the issues with installation.

Lexie was so helpful from our first time visiting Backyard Living Co through the installation. She communicated with us regularly, answered our many questions and even checked in after delivery to make sure we were happy. Derrick and another gentlemen who’s name that we unfortunately cannot recall, were patient, determined and professional during installation. Due to the rain and the slope of our yard, the installation of our shed was not an easy one, but neither of them complained or even seemed frustrated. They worked together to figure out the best way to make sure our shed was installed correctly!

Since installation we have gotten SO MANY compliments on the look and workmanship.

I took the floor model and ordered the additional chairs. They delivered the set and it looks just great and the service was outstanding. The entire staff was wonderful and did what they said they were going to do. My two chairs arrived in two weeks time and look great! Would I reccomend you do business with these people?

Told me delivery could be 8 - 10 weeks, 3 weeks later it took them less then an hour to take off the trailer, level it on my pad.

Excellent products and excellent service. They have everything you need to convert your backyard into a summer oasis. Most products are on display in "backyard" settings. Our order was ready for pickup before the promise date. Quality is as good as I've seen anywhere. Looking forward to years of use. Already looking at a porch swing for next year.

Outstanding experience dealing with Backyard in Richmond. Product exceeded our expectations in terms of design and construction. All of the staff very friendly and responsive. Also the two gentlemen who assembled and delivered the item were very efficient courteous and friendly Told it would be 5 weeks for delivery but took delivery in 8 days.

Backyard Living hit all the marks! We ordered a custom 12x28 cabin for our land up north. We have no address but they were still able to sort out delivery. The process was smooth. Annika Grass is the most amazing person to work with. Was considerate and answered all our questions. I stressed hard over what could go wrong during delivery, for NOTHING. Delivery was a cinch. I was expecting at least 3 guys and instead there was one guy with a robotic life that unloaded, walked our “driveway” and set it on our pad. We have big plans for our land up north and Backyard Living likely plays a role in future buildings!

They came when they said they would. What should have been a 2 day install, the crew stayed the extra time and finished this in a day. They also called the next

I ordered a 12' X 16' shed for my backyard, and it's beautiful. My backyard is fully fenced, so the shed had to be delivered using a crane to lift it over the roof of my house. It was awesome!! Frank is very easy to work with and knows his product. Once my cement pad was in place I notified the company I was ready for install. They advised someone from scheduling would call in 5-10 days. 2 hours later (!) scheduling called with an install date of the following Monday. I was told to expect a crew between 7 & 9am. I got a phone call at 6:40 am that the crew was at the house. 12 hours later I had a 30x40 barn standing. The crew worked very hard and did a great job on clean up. Overall I am very pleased with the project.

I stopped by Backyard Living (BYL) just to look but ended up buying a custom shed. Frank T. was very low pressure and easy to work with. After taking the information I talked about it with family and decided to purchase. I wanted it to match the color of my house and they sent me to their paint supplier to pick an exact match. I only had to give BYL the color number from the pant supplier. It was a perfect match in the final product.

The shed took about 6 weeks to be ready. BYL provided easy and quick access to a funding source. Making the purchase was easy. They provided me the number of someone who could put down a crushed rock pad and that was accomplished in a separate purchase. With the pad all ready BLY showed up with the shed on their custom and really high tech delivery truck. The truck had an attached lift that moved the shed to it's final position needing little extra space. Really slick and fun to watch!
