What people say about “B & T HVAC Heating & Air Conditioning”?
Customer reviews for B&T HVAC lean heavily towards positive sentiments, highlighting the company's commitment to service and effective communication. Many customers praised the technicians for their professionalism, efficiency, and thorough explanations regarding new systems and maintenance. However, some feedback pointed to communication issues and dissatisfaction with service follow-ups, particularly when initial repairs failed. What Users Like The Most
- The team at B&T HVAC is awesome. Worked with me to select the best unit to replace the one 14 years old.
- Scheduling was easy and timely. I will continue with B&T.
- I would recommend contacting Aaron and his team to address your HVAC needs. Thanks for your hard work.
- From the estimate process and throughout the installation I was impressed with the knowledge, training, and professionalism.
- They came quickly to assess the damage, and within a day we had a response for replacement.
What Users Like The Least
- They refused to come out again without charging me again. The first charge was over $500.
- After moving into the home I realized there was water leaking from the basement unit; I called B&T to have them come out and help but the woman whom I spoke with was so rude.
Recommended Reviews
I just had two HVAC systems replaced by B&T. I recommend them highly. They are honest, worked quickly and quietly (in the pouring rain). After the install the crew head Steven explained everything about the new system and how to use the new smart home thermostat. He should be a spokesperson for the company. Several of my neighbors used them as well. I am confident that I chose the right company.
Edit - I am changing my review rating to 4/5 because I really appreciated the call from the Owner. After my experience, I fully expected them to defend their position. During the call, we discussed parts of the process that broke down such as being incorrectly told the service fee is separate from parts/labor when in fact it is deducted from the final bill. Without getting into verbatim details, it was apparent the emphasis/importance he puts on his customers experience and a lot of my issues could have been resolved with better communication. I cannot give 5/5 because my experience did happen and that cannot be changed, but the call left me feeling confident it is not a representation of their normal process.

I should have known to call someone else by the way I was greeted upon calling, but I looked past the unprofessional tone. I should have known better than to agree to a $120 service call fee for an issue that I had already diagnosed and communicated, but I get it’s somewhat standard in the industry. But I felt completely robbed of that money when I was quoted an outrageous $750 ($300 for 2 hrs labor and $450 for material) for ~10’ of flex duct installation. Mind you, this is on a walkout attic platform that requires no crawling or limited movement. I called thinking it must be a mistake because a bag of R8 12” flex duct is $130 retail, and there are only two fittings. I was met with two people saying “I don’t set the prices, they are set by the owner”. By my math assuming retail prices (not wholesale which they would getting), that’s a 300% mark up on materials. And if that’s not the case, I was welcoming the discussion to better understand the price. Either way, I was able to get the work done for $350 by a HVAC company with a licensed professional (which is more reasonably in the $25-$55 per LF range), but I will never get that $120 back.
Contacted B&T HVAC to replace my old system with a new American Standard HVAC. Aaron came out to evaluate my system and went over my options. Hector and the installation crew worked diligently to install the new system. Afterwords, Hector went over the operation of the thermostat, suggested some maintenance tips, and installed a few carbon monoxide detectors. I would recommend contacting Aaron and his team to address your HVAC needs.
Thanks for your hard work.
