The overall process of scheduling a home visit, selecting a retractable awning type and material, agreeing upon a quote, and scheduling installation was A++++, over the top, and easy.
The install team was fantastic - personable and professional. It was obviously not their first rodeo.
They arrived on site and introduced themselves with a handshake. Who does that now a days? Well, Awnings NH does.

What a delight to find a company so highly qualified and with such regard for customer service. I don't even live nearby, but had such a professional response to a blind that needed to be "restrung" that I cannot let it go without fanfare!! Owner, Rod Ladman, noticed it was in a slight state of disrepair and before I could even respond, the blind was down, on the table and he was re-threading the apparatus! Voila!! We had a wind and sun problem that no 11 foot cantilever umbrella could fix or handle. My husband went on a research path and found Rod and company. Andre came and told us about the awnings they install and how they are hurricane rated. We ordered it and literally the day it came on the truck they were ready to install it. They came mid-day on a hot sunny day and felt our problem as they installed the 500lb awning on the roof. Within five minutes of it being up, they even said they felt the difference. The installation crew was super helpful and showed me how to use all of the features before leaving. We wished we did this much earlier in the year.

Our experience replacing a very old awning with a new one, including a screen to block out the sun, was amazing. Especially enjoyed working with Andre. He was enthusiastic, patient, efficient and sincere. Hard to beat that kind of effort!

Last year we had a little mishap due to leaving the awning extended overnight during a torrential downpour. We visited every avenue possible to fix the existing awning.
Once again Rod to the rescue! Everyone we dealt with at the company was professional and polite. The crew left “no signs” that they were there! They even took all the packaging!

After sending pictures and speaking to the owner Rod on the phone, he said he would have someone call me to make an appointment to come look at it. After a week I messaged him to remind him and my phone showed he read the message. After another week, I messaged that I still had not heard anything. I was completely blown off. If you don’t want to do a job, be professional enough to tell me your not interested. Don’t lead someone on that would have been happy to spend a few thousand somewhere else just to have it. They may do awesome work, but they are not professional

Our experience with Rod and his team was fabulous from start to finish. Rod came out with samples and to take measurements and make recommendations. He spent time educating us about the product, and helped us choose the correct size awning for our space. The product arrived on time, and was installed by "the Brians", who were fast, friendly, and courteous as they worked on our property. The best part is that the awning looks even better than we imagined, and the quality is excellent. We are so thankful to have worked with the entire team at Awnings New Hampshire. Great and true customer-focused company - Rod and Keira are extremely friendly, detailed and care for their customers' needs. They provided us with in-depth explanations and advice and gave a great price. The installation was quick and the installers Jacob and Eric were awesome too - explained the process and checked constantly what we wanted to make final adjustments. Hoping to not need to request service but believe that they will provide great warranty/maintenance service if needed too.

I rarely post comments on websites like this, but in this case, it is warranted. Rod Ladman’s excellent customer service deserves a special mention to anyone considering high-end/custom blinds.

I’m a homeowner in the Lakes Region, and I first bought my Hunter Douglas motorized shades from Rod Ladman more than a decade ago. Rod did a professional job with the initial measuring and installation, as you might expect. Where Rod has distinguished himself, however, has been in his sustained level of excellent customer service AFTER THE SALE. Over the years, I have had very few instances when my Hunter Douglas blinds have needed services – only three, in fact. But when I have needed help, Rod has been responsive and timely in getting the blinds in great working order under the original warranty. I give him high marks, and I’m confident others will too.

I wish there were 10 stars . As a previous business owner I really appreciate good people like Rod and his crew . They did a terrific job . The picture shows them doing the job I wanted keeping rain out.

I own Morrison's Lobsters located on the Pascatiqua River in Kittery Maine. I always wanted to add an awning over the dock where I serve Lobsters in the Rough, but didn't think it would work because of the west winds that come down the river. I have lost so many umbrellas in the river and getting a little tired of always buying new each summer. After talking to Rod at Awnings New Hampshire I decided to give it a shot and hope for the best. They did an unbelievable job and had it up and running when I opened for Memorial Day weekend. All my customers loved it. Now when it rains they can still sit outside and it give me move visibility from the Memorial Bridge which connects Kittery Maine to Portsmouth New Hampshire. Wish I had done it a long time ago.

Rod does exceptional work at a very fair price. Word of his talent is spreading and thus his business is growing rapidly, but it might be having some growing pains as of late he has not been as timely and communicative as he has been in the past. I know from talking to him that he recognizes this as a problem, and given that he is man of great integrity, I am confident that these are wrinkles that will get ironed out.
