This review is not easy for me to write because after buying my 2014 Chevy Silverado at Autry Morlans all my oil changes, tire rotations and service work has been done there. That is nearly 7 years of bringing my business to a company that made me feel safe. Sadly after recent events I will NO longer step one foot inside this service department!
Here is what happened… first off their help could use a course in customer service. Debbie has been there since the beginning and although she is NEVER very friendly she has never been overly rude either. However the same can not be said for Jessica! Unfortunately she lacks the skills necessary to assist a customer in a vehicle service department or the ability to handle scheduling concerns over the phone.
Problem #2 Now please note that I am writing this review not to be vindictive but so that hopefully the “owner” that seems to respond to the positive feed back will actually take this review seriously. My truck was brought in for its routine oil change and an inspection. Ladies, we know this is an area that we can be taken advantage of… hence my decision to go where I felt safe. The service department failed my inspection for a 3rd break light bulb ($50 bulb plus $50 labor is what they quoted me) this bulb cost me $7 and with a star bit was changed in 10 minutes. My thought was does that team think I am stupid? Apparently so because the second thing that failed the inspection was both lower ball joints of which I was quoted took all day (plus an alignment) to fix oh yes that was right around $1000. Once I left and wiped the “sucker” off my forehead I took my truck to 2 different mechanics that jacked my car up in front of me and done a thorough inspection of both lower ball joints. I keep my truck well maintained so I was not shocked when I was told by both places that not only was my ball joints great but my truck showed absolutely no signs of ware (especially my tires).
My truck will become legal without the dishonesty of Autry Morlan Chevy’s service department. Even though I do not spend thousands of dollars there, they did lose a dedicated customer that will be sure to let ALL her friends (especially the female ones) know this story and help them in anyway possible to find ANYONE else to do their repairs and most certainly their inspections. Let’s see if the “owner” will show concern about this review.

They are all very pleasant & helpful. There is a nice clean & cool waiting room. The technicians do a great job & remember to properly reset all the settings afterward so that I don’t have to make a trip back to the dealership. They address any concerns I may have. Then as soon as my vehicle is ready they quickly check me out and I can use my rewards points to cover the cost of service.

Was not thrilled with service. Not alot of info was given as the process went on, but what really got me at the end was the price of service. Had a 10٪ coupon that I had recieved in mail. It cleary said couldn't use it on oil change or something similar or combine with other offer. But when you spend over 800 on a service and they decide that this coupon can not be used as well, to day the least it aggravated me. It should have been exactly what that coupon should been good for. They did correct the issue with the coupon after review was submitted.

I work out of town and called them for an oil change . Everyone was nice and got me right in and done in a timely manner. Great job thank you and it was less than $100 compared to the dealerships in the St Louis area that get well over $100 for and oil change .

I do not have enough great things to say about Eugene McConnell at Autry Morlan GM in Dexter. I've been in customer service for 22 years and Eugene knows how to provide true quality service. It reminded me that there are still people out there with integrity and honesty. The dealership is VERY LUCKY to have him. Keep him and take care of him. The good ones are hard to come by nowadays. He was responsive and so helpful during the entire process. I am not hard to please, I just expect great customer service from the customer service industry and Eugene far exceeded my expectations! You will not regret ASKING FOR EUGENE in sales.

Horrible customer service and won't fix a car we just bought. Charged $130 to just tell us it's going to cost over $600 to fix it bc its not covered under the warranty that we have. Literally the day we made our 1st payment. Wouldn't even look at it last week bc we didn't have the $100...

We are a customer who just bought a truck 3 months later it broke down had to pay for tow to the dealership.first thing we get told is your not a dodge dealer.you sold us the truck, so we had to drive it to sikestons autry morlan and a week later get a call truck is fixed(wires problem)pay yall another 400$ for diagnostic mind you we pay a extra 200 for a warranty a month to you we are supposed to be your customer and we have to pay that for you to look at what's wrong with the truck we literally just bought?not even 30 mins on the way to work it's doing it again my husband sitting on the side of the road.so now what?bring it back for yall to charge us again by the hour to look at it? we came to you to buy a good reliable vehicle and we are not being treated fair our work life and kids school schedules revolves around us having 2 vehicles your business could have offered a loaner until its fixed we wouldn't care what type of vehicle as long as it runs.we just bought the truck .it just doesn't seem fair

This visit was to fix what was done wrong on the last visit. David in service was extremely helpful and apologetic for what happened last time, and I greatly appreciate it.

However when they rotated the tires back to their correct positions, I noticed a lot of gouges, scratches, and scuffs on my aluminum rims that weren’t there before. How do I know this? Because every time I get my tires rotated I always check the rims.

As far as the actual mechanics, and the work they do, I I could’ve went to the local high school at the auto shop class do a better job.. No matter how good customer services any business is at the mercy of the ones that do the work and the quality of work that they do.

My Chevy truck was originally seen at Morlan Nissan. This time around it was taken to the Chevy dealership because Nissan couldn’t clear the TPMS codes. Davis is at Nissan.
