I am very happy with the standing seam steel roof that was installed on my garage by Aurora Roofing & Solar. The owner, Troy Hull, was great to work with. Troy's crew stripped the existing shingled roofing and underlayment, installed high temp ice and water shield on the roof decking and then installed 24 gauge double-lock standing seam steel on the entire roof. They did a beautiful job! Workers cleaned up and disposed of all debris daily and immediately after the job was completed. In the near future I will hire Aurora Roofing and Solar to install solar panels on my garage!

Troy has been a pleasure to work with. He provided me with comprehensive information, gave very thoughtful responses to any of my questions, and communicated well starting with our inquiry right through the installation. Troy and his team replaced half of a very large standing seam roof for an entire wing of my hotel, The Rangeley Inn. They worked with me to ensure there was minimal disruption to my guests, they cleaned up very thoroughly, and their work looks great! In time, I will be calling Troy to install solar for us as well.

Awesome company to work with. They came highly recommended from many of our local friends in town who have used them. Troys guys work long days and fast. They got my entire geodesic dome roofed within a week. Troy communicates well, is extremely intelligent and always took the time to address my concerns and explain things to me without being in a rush which I super appreciated. He also managed to get our roof in quick before the winter while we were in a jam. We are considering a small ground mounted solar array and Aurora will be our go-to!

Aurora Solar did an awesome job installing our solar panels on our garage roof. Clean and neat, from new shingles in one day, to installing the solar panels in less than a week. Troy Hull, his master electrician, and all of his installers were very professional, and certainly knew what they were doing. I take reviews seriously and you might notice I only give a review if the experience was real good or not so good because these reviews can effects someone’s business either way. With that said I had Aurora Roofing do my roof last week and as I expected they did a great job. Most importantly was the crew knew exactly how to go about the project because it was an A frame with an addition and and complicated valleys, skylights and an adjoining metal roof . So there were many difficult areas to deal with and if someone without as much time in business and know how, it could have been a mess. I can be quite picky and not easily pleased. With that said they cleaned up really well. I told one of the workers there was no need to rake my leaves around the house because he was quite motivated to make sure everything was cleaned up and I appreciate that. One last factor that helped with my decision is he has solid roots and a presence within the Farmington community.

There are too many reasons to list for recommending this company so I'll just name a few,: incredibly professional and friendly crew, quality materials, timely completion, and a cleanup with zero trace of construction debris! We would rate higher if possible and will use them again for a solar project!

Work crew came early and did a fantastic job on what I saw as not a simple roof replacement. They took it all in stride, cleaned up the mess and did it all in much less time than even they allotted to it. Will look forward to having them back for my barn roof!

With the new solar farms cropping up around Maine it became apparent that we really wanted to move forward with a solar array that we could own and monitor. Troy and his amazing team made our dream a reality. We installed a system that will allow us to give power back to the grid while still owning the investment. Troy has the knowledge and drive to make the small, residential array come to life! Our reliance on heating oil has decreased with a heat pump, and after this installation we will be one step closer to reducing our reliance on fluctuating gas and oil prices. Troy was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We had an off the grid system installed for a cabin up above Carrabassett Valley. The solar array looks great and was sized perfectly to fit the space and power needs. The inverter and battery are high quality and the equipment is easy to use and power flows seamlessly throughout. Aurora Roofing and Solar are very professional and I definitely recommend working with them.

Troy and his crew did a great custom roof job on our small renovation project. It was a tough job since nothing on the old house was straight or square, but they completed it in a timely fashion and the finished product looks great.
