Aspect replaced our fence after the Highlands Ranch tornado. The fence is well built, with good attention to detail in the workmanship. However, if we had the choice, we would have never gone with Aspect due to our poor customer service experience. Michael, our point of contact, encouraged us to pressure our neighbors into signing with him, and told our neighbors repeatedly that they would have to pay our portion of the fence because we weren’t communicating with him, despite us usually having talked to him the day before, resulting in serious confusion between neighbors and us having to call Michael and explicitly ask him to stop discussing our contract with neighbors. When we asked for more clarity and to understand our bid better, Michael would instead take the time to complain about our neighbors and answer none of our questions, while just insisting we were getting ‘a good deal’. The fence was for a rental property, and Michael and his team treated it as such- using our back patio, side rocks, and front yard as the debris collection for all our neighborhood’s old fences. When it got to the point that we had no way to access our backyard due to the amount and locations of debris, Michael responded quickly to our frustrations, but never asked permission to leave debris anywhere on our lot, and never gave a timeline of its removal until we complained. At the end of the day, we’re happy with our fence, but it was a huge headache, caused tension between neighbors, and was an incredibly frustrating experience we would recommend to no one.
