ASMHI Inc (A Sound Mind Home Inspection)

What stood out most were the numerous high-quality photos included, which made it easy to understand the findings and visualize the areas of concern. I had some concerns initially when I read all the exclusions, so I called and spoke with Beau. He explained what he does very clearly and without any defensiveness. When he actually did the inspection, he was extremely thorough. He explained some important issues with us right there in the house as soon as he finished inspecting, and then explained why they were important. His report was also very detailed (99 pages of details which seemed overwhelming to me, but actually was laid out in such a way it was an easy read and very referenceable) and the turnaround time was incredible. I am very pleased with the way this experience went, especially after those initial concerns. I would definitely recommend using ASMHI Inc for your home inspection.

Beau did a great job inspecting my townhome & I was impressed with his vast knowledge of all things related to a home. He also taught me about the different plants growing in the yard & ways to improve them. He really knows his stuff & is very friendly! ASMHI gets my highest recommendation!

We used A Sound Mind inspections for a condo and we were presented with a very well professional, voluminous, and extremely thorough inspection package. The escrow ended up falling through for other reasons but we only wish we used A Sound Mind again for the condo we eventually purchased. Unfortunately, they were booked and our realtor hired someone else who presented us with one sheet of paper, no photos, and once we moved in we found several problems that should have been indicated in the inspection AND they were more expensive to add insult to injury. We will definitely contact A Sound Mind should we need another inspection. They deserve more than 5 stars compared to the garbage we got from another inspector.

Beau saved me a great deal of money by providing me with accurate information to counter offer on the purchase of my home. The home I was purchasing had a disaster of a roof. The owner said an inspector 6 months earlier had said it had a lot of life left in it. Beau provided me with excellent photos to show exactly how bad it was. He pointed out a number of things that needed repair or replacement immediately and others that I could live with for awhile. He was on time and was extremely thorough!
His experience and expertise was obvious. I am so thankful I was referred to this company.

He provided us with an excellent written home report and pictures, carefully detailing everything that was well and what needed repair/replacement. He even put expertise information on recommendations to replacement parts. We also did appreciate the drone pictures which included different sides of our our home and property.
