Ashore Construction

Joe over-promises and under-delivers. Knows nothing about high-end finishes. Lots of unapproved short cuts, lots of mistakes, sometimes made the same mistake twice. Did not install interior electrical wires correctly or up to code, had to get another contractor to finish job. Floors installed incorrectly, not as requested during meeting. When confronted with issues, he took the stance of being personally offended, insulted. He would not take ownership of errors. Had to send his wife to discuss issues because he couldn't do it himself. If you want things done correctly, avoid using Ashore.

I am a property manager and have residential and commercial properties in the Southeast. Anytime something arises that is needed in Louisiana, I call Ashore Construction. I have used Ashore Construction for over 7 years and it is a pleasure to recommend them. When we have issues or need something done I trust their recommendations. I never feel like they are trying to suggest more costly alternatives. Their work is great and they always use high quality materials (even when they could be more profitable by choosing standard grade). Previous work has included room additions, whole building renovations, floor replacement, structural repairs, roof repairs, bathroom renovations, to just changing out windows.
