From the estimate to the day of the roof replacement, Josh and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Josh went out of his way to make sure everything we talked about got done and done correctly. The estimate fell in the middle of my research, but I felt the most comfortable going with Armour Construction. They didn't disappoint!

Both Chris and Jim were extremely well organized and professional in their initial presentation. All of the questions we had were answered and followed up to our satisfaction. They handled our claim with the insurance company, met with the adjuster and kept us informed. The work was excellent and fast with clean up and inspections after the job which revealed a minor issue which was rectified quickly. Nick with Armour Construction was very easy to work with and came out multiple times taking pictures from various angles and zoom levels in effort to get State Farm to my cover my roof, which had significant evidence of hail damage. State Farm elected not to cover, and Nick was able to work with me and provide me a fair estimate for an out-of-pocket replacement of my roof. The crew did a good job installing new roof in a single day. Moral of the story is don't use State Farm for insurance, but do use Armour Construction for roof work.

Josh kisela helped me get my roof replaced through my insurance. The attention to detail the speed and proficiency by the workers and over all quality of work. I swear my property was better cleaned when they were done then when they started. Nothing but professional workers for the eye to see with this company. From the get go I knew I was in good hand. If anyone is looking for services from them please do they will absolutely take care of you.

Big home projects always stress me out a little bit, because I have had such bad experiences in the past. Not the case with Armour Construction. Nick was great at communicating and handled adversity like a true professional. When my friends and family need new roofing or siding, Armour is the only company I am truly comfortable recommending.

Called Armour after a storm when I found pieces of our roof on the ground, stated we needed a new roof, never got an actual estimate from them. When the insurance estimator came out(different company), they wouldn't provide an exact time because they insisted we need not be present for their estimate. They gave a 3 hour window, and we couldnt coordinate a time for both to be present at once. The insurance estimator claimed we only had a few pieces of ridge cap knocked loose and less than $500 of damage. I can look out my bedroom window and see lose shingles and at least one piece of shingle that I don't think is a ridge cap that had come off from some other location, but I'm not a roofer and I cannot get up on my roof and look for myself. After hearing back from the insurance company, we attempted to call and find out about getting an actual estimate from Armour after hearing back from insurance and left a detailed voicemail. Didn't hear back.
I was excited to get work done with them, and planned to have my siding done somewhere down the line. There was a house done around the block that I thought was beautiful. The employees I interacted with seemed nice enough and they were actually recommended by my insurance company . I don't know what happened there. Just my experience.

Just want to give praise to Josh from Armour Construction, the facility as a whole, but specifically to their customer service. It's been almost 2 years since they finished our house. This past week we had an issue with the facia, contacted Josh/Armour and Josh came out himself to repair it. I have never had such an easy experience with any type of construction company. I had been dealing with another roofing company for over 2 months with no progress made. Then we called Armour and Jim assisted us in getting our roof replaced by quick communication with both myself and our insurance company, got the team and materials ready, and completed the project all on a tight timeline. We will absolutely use Armour again in the future. I can’t recommend them enough.

Josh and his team were amazing! Easy process from the start: phone call, quote, and through completion. The gutters, leaf guards, and downspouts are high quality! I won’t hesitate to call Armour Construction in the future.

Never a need to call to see where or when they were going to show, ALWAYS returned calls for questions that needed answered. Their customer service is the absolute best! Armour Construction is absolutely an exceptional roofing/construction company. From start to finish, their service was top notch.
Our roof sustained hail damage during the spring storms of 2023. Armour rep Josh Kisela inspected our roof and provided us with a 38 page pdf document detailing the damage to submit to our insurance company. His initial consultation was thorough, knowledgeable and he patiently addressed all of our concerns. On a later date Josh met the insurance adjuster at our home and reinspected our roof with the adjuster then tirelessly continued to work with our insurance company until the completion of the project. No way it would have gone so well without Josh.
The roofing team’s professionalism and attention to detail during installation were impressive. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left our property clean and tidy. The quality of workmanship was evident in the final result.

Our home was damaged by a tornado. Josh from Armour Construction came out not long after we contacted him. He tarped the back of our roof and dealt with with our insurance. Our new roof and gutters were done today! The roofing crew were polite and did an A +job! Will definitely use again if needed and we will recommend!

It was a challenge finding a contractor willing to take on the reroofing of our home, a geodesic dome which my father originally built from a kit in the late 1970s. This was the second tear-off and re-roofing of the home since it was originally built, with the current roof being 25 years old. I was getting somewhat desperate, given that several of the skylights had started leaking and I was worried about structural damage in such a unique house. I was grateful when Jim Dietz promptly responded to my request for a quote, and that Armour Construction was keen to take on such a challenge! Jim recommended GAF Timberline HDZ shingles for their longevity, and updated curb-mount Velux skylights as replacement of the existing nine flush-mount (leaking) skylights. I sincerely appreciate Jim’s patience with all my numerous questions in a home of such importance to our family, and his prompt response to my texts and emails.

The roof and skylights were replaced last week, and I am grateful to the roofing team for their careful work, attention to detail, team spirit, and friendliness. The city inspector who stopped by several times also commented quite positively, how carefully Armour Construction considered the unique architecture and researched the best roofing patterns for long-term protection. The roofing team did find some damage to the base plywood, but thankfully were able to skillfully replace everything with no delay in the project. I look forward to the next phase of the work, which is to replace the original cedar siding. If you are an owner of a unique home (geodesic dome or otherwise) in the greater Northwest Indiana region, I definitely encourage you to contact Armour Construction!

Extremely happy with Armour Construction. The last few years it has been difficult to find companies that will return calls requesting quotes. Armour was very prompt in returning calls and scheduling services. They worked very well with me and my insurance company. They were professional beginning to end and communicated well with scheduling and weather issues. The work crew was also professional, respectful of the property and didn’t leave anything behind. Armour Construction has been incredible to work with on all fronts. I called them because I seen some shingles laying in the yard. They came out to make the repair and performed a free full roof assessment for me. They charged a fair price and performed the repair the same day they came out.

I can't tell you the tenacity that Josh gave me for my home. He continued to make sure everyone understood the issues. He was extremely thorough and attentive to all of my needs. The hired help was extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I recommend Armour extremely Josh.

I highly recommend Armour. From start to finish, we had a positive experience. After having incurred hail damage, we spent significant time choosing just the right company, and they didn't disappoint. We had much of our exterior replaced, including siding, roofing, window wraps, and gutters. Our rep Jim was a pleasure to work with, never pressured us (like the four other companies did), and made the process seamless through regular communication, transparency, dealing with our insurance company, maintaining the highest quality to our standards, and completing the project in a timely manner. Armour Construction was the only contractor that followed up after he inspected my roof. I had issues with the insurance company trying to deny the claim. Armour came out again after the first inspector said there was no hail damage even though the gutters and downspouts were all dinged up. Armour followed up with the adjuster and helped me prove them wrong. Great company I would recommend to anybody. They had a big crew out here they came in about 6:30 in the morning did not leave till the job was done at 8 at night. Professional neat quality job on the roof.
