They did a phenomenal job on our concrete and hanging our mini split A/C unit on the wall. All the workers were very polite and respectful and showed dedication to providing quality work. The project was completed on time with no delays. Any questions we had after the work was done were answered and addressed immediately. This will be the first company we will consider to use for any future household projects and we will highly recommend anyone who is in the market for a quality trustworthy company.

Johnnie’s crew came recommended to us by another reputable contractor in the area. They did great work for us screening in our existing deck and repairing our fascia, soffit, and deck stairs. I’m the daughter of a third generation home builder, and I grew up on residential job sites. Between that and having worked with a few other contractors on our homes, I can tell you Johnnie’s crew is as solid as they come. They were very professional, priced fairly, consistently asked for our opinion on the design details, and best of all, they communicated with us throughout the whole process… which was refreshing since we have been ghosted by others before. & it was never a guessing game of when they would show up or if they’d show up, because they’d let us know their schedule. From the time we signed the contract to the time they finished screening the deck, was about two weeks. We look forward to working with them in the future when we’re ready for a sunroom addition and new dock.

I reached to out to Johnnie and his team to re-do two walls and window framing in my basement. One of the walls was structural and the other has plumbing behind it for a wet bar to be installed.
From our first meeting at the house to receiving the quote, I was already impressed. He was thorough, professional, and walked me through exactly what needed to be done and how he was going to do the job. His communication throughout made this an extremely smooth process. He is very detail-oriented, and exceeded every single one of my expectations for the job.
The quality of work Johnnie and his team did is incredible. They are elite at what they do and it shows. They framed the walls, had the electrical redone, re-plumbed and insulated the piping, added insulation behind the walls, re-framed
the window, drywalled, and re-did the baseboards. Every single job was done perfectly, and he provided me with updates every step of the way. I can’t say enough good things about how well this job went. Johnnie will be my first call for any future work I need done without hesitation.

Johnnie is a great guy to deal with. He’s very responsive and has a good team. I never had to wonder about the job after he told me when they would start. He even kept in touch with me about a little job, while he was on vacation! This is unheard of when dealing with general contractors in my area. I also asked them to do a roof repair, and instead of doing a partial job, he was upfront and honest and told me what had to be done to fix it right. Give him a call for any of your needs!

I highly recommend Arkansas Construction and Remodeling. I called Johnnie right after my insurance adjuster came out to look at my roof and siding, and he came just a day or so later to give me an estimate, and within a week his crew was out here replacing my roof and siding. His crew was very friendly and did a great job cleaning everything up after they finished! Johnnie saw an issue with my original roof that wasn't necessarily done right when it was put on and he talked to my insurance company and managed to get them to approve him doing it the correct way. I had used this company for an addition to my house several years ago and was very pleased. We were happy to know that they were still doing what they are amazing at. Although the addition didn’t need updates, the original part of the house definitely did. This was the best remodeling experience one could possibly have! Our home was built in 1954 and has been completely gutted and beautifully updated. The crews that spent weeks transforming our home was some of the most pleasant, respectful, and on task crews. Arkansas Construction installed a privacy fence at my home and did a great job. The fence looks great, and they completed the project ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend them for any of your construction projects.

Johnnie has done several projects for me in my older home. Home built in 1917. He understands the issues with an older home. Latest project was turning a studio apartment into a Master Bedroom with attached ensuite bath. Project was completed timely and I am very satisfied with Johnnie's work. His crew was very respectful of my house while working in it. Will definitely recommend Johnnie for remodeling and construction. I love my new space!

October 2023:
Changed my Breakfast Room into a Bulters Pantry and added a private entrance to my Master Bedroom. Johnnie installed the cabinets and countertop for the Butlers Pantry and turned an old bathroom into the room that contains the new spiral staircase to the Master Bedroom. His crew was awesome and worked very quickly and cleanly. The crew was always there when they said they would be. Added a ton of storage to this old house, Much appreciated!!

We had every surface in our 2,200 square foot home touched by Arkansas Construction and Remodeling. New flooring, paint (ceiling, walls and trim), bathroom remodels, new beverage center and a half wall removed.
The target completion date was met and he was responsive to
all of our calls. We completed a couple of walk throughs during the project and changes were made without issue.

Great man and crew! It's all in the details. Had total shower tear out remodel, flooring, mural tile kitchen backsplash, wood trim work around fireplace and finished other contractor work when they didn't return. Mr Oldham is honest, professional, curtious, hardworking and maintains open contact. His crew are perfectionist. We are very pleased with them and will rely on them again. Highly recommend!

Johnnie and his crew did a great job. We wooden fencing and built a new metal fence around our pool. He and his crew also renovated two full baths. Provided great advice - didn’t inflate the project and even provided tips on savings that might be obvious. Will definitely call him again.
