Great company who delivers what they say they will do. Very prompt, fast and dependable service. I will strongly recommend Anchor-Ridge Roofing.
We used Anchor Rridge to replace our shingle roof after the wind storm. They were over the day after to add a temporary water barrier and then had the new roof installed shortly after we signed a contract with them. Great crew and they had it done in a day and a half! They took the time to do a detailed cleanup and walked the property with magnets to assure no nails were left behind. Would recommend them to anyone!
I hired this roofing company for a small job—replacing about 15 shingles on my roof. The job itself cost $500, which I was okay with given the season (mid-summer in Alaska, where roofers are typically booked). The quality of the work performed was fine, and I have no complaints about the final result.
However, my issue was with the company's poor communication throughout the entire process. There were multiple instances where I was promised one thing, but it wasn’t delivered, followed by days or even weeks of silence despite my repeated attempts to reach them. For example, one day before they were supposed to show up, I was informed they no longer made the type of shingles on my roof and that they would need to use a different style. I agreed, and they assured me they would arrive the next day to complete the job, but when they showed up, they said they couldn’t do the work because they didn’t have the correct color shingles after all—despite having sent me a photo of the supposed match the day before.
They covered the area with some white material, stating they would return in a few days, but weeks passed with no communication. I was left wondering if my roof was more vulnerable than before and had to chase them down for an update. Eventually, they committed to coming out to finish the job, but even on the day they were scheduled, I never received a call or text to let me know they had arrived or completed the work as agreed. I had to use a drone to check that the job was finally done several days later.
Again, the final product was fine, but the complete lack of communication was frustrating. There was no courtesy of letting me know if they couldn’t make it or even returning my calls and texts promptly. I understand delays happen and that roofers are busy during the summer months. However, when you’re charging a premium price for a tiny job, I expect the customer service to match, and in this case, it certainly didn’t. If they had simply communicated, this would have been a much better experience.
