We are so happy with the work of American Windows! They replaced all of our windows, plus our sliding glass door, and both the quality of the products and the installation work were excellent. The sales process with Jay was low pressure and informative, and their pricing was competitive with the other quotes we received (plus with a better product). Highly recommend American Windows!

If you have been inundated by home improvement advertisements for windows and doors, please disregard all the BoGO pricing and hype and use American Windows and Siding. From the initial consultation with Jim, the product recommendation, the scheduled installation (their crew could not be more professional) and post inspection, to simply dropping by to check if everything is ok, these folks are top of their class. Don’t put off replacing your windows, doors and siding until it’s too late. That heating bill will be here in a few months: My A/C costs just went down by 25%. Call them today. You will not be disappointed.

I am so pleased with the service I received from American Windows and Siding. They put in 14 windows, redid our dormers, all new rake boards, new gutters, fixed some siding and did a bunch of touch up work for me. Very professional and didn't stop until I was completely happy with the product they provided. The owner, Ed, was very helpful, responsive, and provided great advice. The crew were all professional and courteous too. Overall, I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the future.

Highly recommend American Windows & siding of VA. The lead-up to installation was pleasant with the owner personally showing us window samples and answering all of our questions. The team that came out was excellent as well. Professional, quick, and cleaned up after themselves couldn't ask for more. We will be using this company again next year when we replace all of our front windows!

American Windows & Siding replaced our front door and we're pleased with the end result. Everyone on the field and office teams were very courteous and professional. There was some trouble with the first version of the door that came in from the manufacturer, but Gary and the rest of the team verified the issue, found the solution, and the end result was a new door we're happy to have. We got quotes from three companies and American Windows & Siding was the only one that was able to both address our front door needs as well as our smaller concerns about sliding doors that need minor fixes. Unlike the other companies that would only consider the 'big jobs' we appreciated that this company listened to our concerns offered solutions for the big AND the small things.

We did a lot of research before choosing this company to work with for replacing 9 windows, a patio door, and the front/storm doors. Jim was very responsive and helpful with the many questions we had and we're very happy with the end results. The installation happened in line with the timeframe that was initially quoted to us and the crew that came in to replace the windows and doors were experienced and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was very impressed with the crew chief's knowledge of the product and how easily he addressed the small tweaks required during the door installations. For the most part, I stayed out of their way so they could work but when I did have questions the crew took the time to answer my questions or demonstrate and explain how aspects of the installation worked. We appreciated the professionalism and awareness of the crew in working efficiently and cleaning up after themselves. We are very pleased with the end results and quality of the windows and doors we chose. Our HOA president witnessed the crew's work and asked for the company's business card to share with others in our community. I gladly shared their information as we would use this company again in the future should the need arise.

I needed three new doors to replace nearly 30 year old doors that began allowing water under the threshold due to poor builder finishes. I got 3 bids from different small local businesses - one company I used three years ago for windows; the other two were written up in a trusted consumer publication. American-Windows was the lowest of the three bids by a lot! When the President, Ed Dunn came to provide an estimate and review my current situation he was knowledgable, direct, helpful, and courteous. The doors (due to Covid) took about 3 months to be custom manufactured, but, arrived without damage. The three workers to who came to install the doors were thorough, respectful of my home (white carpeting!), fast, and cleaned up everything without damaging anything. When there was a tiny problem with my video doorbell, Ed arranged to have his team come back quickly to tweak the screw placement. I'm very pleased with their quality of service and pricing.

American Windows expertly installed 30+ Sunrise Restorations windows and 3 exterior Provia doors on our house in 2 days and we love the results! Charlie was very pleasant to work with on the estimate, patiently answering all our questions. Phil was flexible scheduling the install once the material arrived, and the install team was very efficient, respectful of our house, and left everything clean and neat. We noticed a minor issue with the weatherstripping on one door but Paul quickly came out and was able to easily fix it. We highly recommend the entire American Windows team!

The American Windows team did a great job installing 10 new windows and a new front door for us. Ben and his team were a pleasure to work with, start to finish. Their quote was the lowest of 4 I received, but I don't feel like I gave up any quality. They went above and beyond to take care of a couple of small issues, and did the full install in 1 day. Great work!

My husband and I contracted American Windows and Siding of VA, Inc. to replace our main floor windows as well as our front door and storm door. They offered us the lowest quote, and they were consistently professional and courteous throughout the entire process. No high-pressure sales tactics. They explained our options to us so that we could make choices that best suited our needs.
Their team, which consisted of five people, completed the job in one day, and the end result reflected solid workmanship and an attention to details.
When we noticed a small issue the next day with the storm door, Connor (Operations Manager) came over right away to see if he could fix it. Several members of the team also showed up and, and they resolved the problem.
We could not be happier with the quality of their work or with their professionalism. We recommend them without hesitation.

I spoke with the GM named Phil of American Windows and siding. I called to see about having a new French door installed. He told me to take a picture of the doors and to email him. I asked if he could email or text me his contact information. He never did and by his tone I knew he wouldn't .
I used them once before on windows. Which had to be replaced within a short time because of the poor quality product. I thought this time I would use a high end product. Before I could even get a word in he became very condescending and wouldn't let me speak on what I wanted. This was same attitude I got years ago from his other business partneri Ed when I had to show him that my windows leaked with a garden hose because he didn't believe me. Stay away from these arrogant men.

Can't say enough. Brad and his company replaced all of the windows in my condo. Fantastic experience - and I'm a tough cookie to please. Highly recommend!

Is there a higher rating than 5 stars? These guys deserve it! Fantastic service replacing our 1928 Bungalow windows. Everything from the initial quote with measurements to communication up to time of install through the installation process - 5 stars all the way. These guys are professional, clean, efficient and punctual. We also had them install a fire door to our garage - Another fantastic job. We are thrilled with our results and cannot recommend them enough. They use great products, too and a warranty with installation.

We had a great experience with them. We needed new windows, siding, trim, and a storm door. Our estimator/project lead was Brad, he was very easy to work with, was very responsive over email, and came by multiple times to answer questions and finalize styles/colors. No pressure or sales gimmicks. Both the window crew and the siding crew did a great job, and we were really impressed with the final result. Highly recommended!

I called to find out if I could get glass block and I never even got as far as asking. Some gentleman answered the phone and I explained how the window was leaking and before I could get any further he was adamant about how it wasn’t necessarily the window leaking etc. etc. so I never got to ask the question because he kept cutting me off. I don’t think I would want to deal with a company like this. I’m so floored right now that I just don’t even know what else to say. I never wanted anyone to search for a leak I simply wanted to know what my options were to replace the window and what I had been looking into was glass block so I have no clue if this company does that. But I know I cannot deal with people who cannot listen! Wow!!!

We needed to replace our patio and deck french doors. We could have went with a previous large vendor we engaged who installed our ProVia front door, but we are SO Happy to have found AWS, and specifically Mike Rogers. We called AWS to schedule an estimate to replace booth doors. I was not quite comfortable with the delayed schedule. Mike Rogers immediately called us back and informed us he could be right out to our house literally the next day. He showed up!! Professional, listening, understanding, informative, responsive. He provided us with our estimate - the pricing was the best we have seen. We engaged on a contract, the doors were manufactured, delivered and installed in a time frame I did not think was possible. The installers were Very Very good and handled all concerns with the highest standards I have seen to date. This whole experience - hands down - put our last experience with the front door vendor in the rear view mirror and has absolutely raised the bar. We will go with AWS again in the future and highly recommend them to all who want exceptional service, great pricing, and high quality products.

I've used American Windows twice, in my own home and for a rental property. The product is excellent. The price is excellent. The installation crew was excellent. If you are in the market for windows, you need to call Bill and get an estimate.
