Just added an Azenco R-Blade pergola + cedar privacy panels, and it’s our new favorite spot. Jeff’s attention to detail shows, the drips route correctly, the louvers seal tight. No regrets.

Our Cherry Creek home got a total upgrade thanks to Alta. We combined a privacy screen along our deck edge (Kansas-style composite panels) with an Azenco insulated R-Shade roof. No more screaming sun, no nosy neighbors. Jon walked us through options without pressure, and Dave’s team nailed the install. That pinery-quality final look is exactly what we hoped for.

We had them replace out redwood deck with composited decking and cable railing. Also had a customs spiral staircase put in. It came out better than my expectations. Alta Outdoor Living recently redid our deck in Monument and it’s transformed how we hang out at home. Jeff and Jon handled permits, design tweaks, and even worked around HOA rules. We added a cedar-trimmed privacy screen that flows naturally, and the composite decking holds up through storms.

We have really enjoyed working with Alta Outdoor Living on our new deck and outdoor space. They did a great job creating a space that we can use year round. One of the reasons we didn’t spend a lot of time on our old deck was the wind. Now with the motorized screens Alta built, the wind is not a problem anymore. We can drop the screens down with our phones and enjoy hanging out on our gorgeous deck. Their attention to detail is incredible. Dave, Alta’s project manager, went above and beyond throughout the project. He has a lot of knowledge and made us feel comfortable. Jeff’s process with guiding us through the selection and design process was why we went with Alta, but the whole team was great. Oscar is a truly gifted stucco master.

Alta Outdoor Living installed deck lighting for the steps on our new custom composite deck, and they are a life saver! The LED lights create the perfect ambiance for evening gatherings while also adding safety. They also built a cedar pergola, allowing us to use the deck when the sun used to be unbearable. Just turned 67 and have been in the construction industry for most of my adult life. From a Master Electrician, to building homes, to the management aspect and now, due to my age and health, minor rebuilds.
I met John, Dave and Jeff by coincidence on the same site while carrying out a rebuild due to water damage. John and Dave where adding a pergola onto the rear of the house.
Being nosey, I ventured out to inspect their work. John and I discussed the pergola and I was impressed with their attention to detail.
It just so happened that my Mother-in-law had a ~1,000SF deck that needed replacing. Due to my condition, and unable to undertake the project myself, I asked for a quote.
I did my due diligence by meeting them and other reputable companies on site. I asked the same pertinent questions to each company but again was most impressed with John, Dave and Jeff from Alta Outdoor Living. They took their time to explain their process, their methodical steps and the materials they recommend - most importantly, why they do what they do.
I need to explain that I've been accused of being too fastidious by past contractors. I'm sick and tired of incompetent contractors who claim they are the best in town but don't know the right end of a hammer to hold.
The reason I chose Alta Outdoor Living for the project was I felt confident that they would build an A+ deck the same way I would have!
