We were given Alpha Rain's information from an electrical contractor working at our house. We were told they were experts in metal roofing and that they were a fair price with great workmanship and that they did what they promised.
We are very pleased to say that the recommendation we were given was spot on. We couldn't be more pleased with the work.

I recently had a metal roof installed on my dad's house. After getting a couple of quotes decided to go with Alpha Rain Metal Roofing. Their pricing was fair and they do the work with their own team where I found out, other roofing companies sub their work out to other roof companies who may not be as familiar with metal roofs. Brandy was very informative about their product and how it was installed. He was there when he said he would be. He checked in with me on a regular basis with progress. They did an excellent job. We also had them install new gutters, down spouts and leaf screens. It looks so good, I can't stop looking at it. The Alpha crew did a great job installing metal shingles on church Parish Hall. Mr Dysart explained the process they use, the timeframes the project would take and the way his crew expedites the job.
They were very professional, and thorough during the entire roof replacement.

A first class highly professional company from start to finish. Our house is in a historic district with a "replace in kind" requirement. Paul and Brandy knew exactly how to meet all the requirements and I now have a new roof and gutters that are period correct, maintenance free, receives compliments from neighbors and strangers, and will last at least 100 years.

They were honest, informative, relatable, and instead of just selling a particular product, they educated and gave details about products and options. We went into the project clearly and had no reservations at all.
Our home is almost 100 years old, and had the original tin roofing atop. Unfortunately for many years, the roof was not maintained properly, and it had two original chimneys and a "dormer" that were not maintained either, leading to some extensive damage inside the house. Alpha Rain took great care in helping us to make the best decisions for our home, the roof, and preserving the age and history of the house while ensuring we had no more indoor water features!
Their crews were on time, tidy, careful, courteous, kind and even allowed our 11 year old to pitch in! They move fast though! We felt like we blinked and the old roof was off, the plywood was almost done and the new roof was done!
We were treated like neighbors, not numbers, and what really meant a lot was, making changes along the way that not only protected the new roof, but prolonged the life of our home. We were not "just another job!"
We are exceptionally pleased with our new roof. It looks good, it works (its tested and approved by mother nature now too!) and really makes our house beautiful- and our house stands a little more proud than she did with her old roof!

The average person has no idea how a roof is constructed or how one is replaced. Alpha Rain explained all of it so I knew what to expect. The job went smoothly, no surprises, the skilled workers made it happen...a new roof! I couldn't be happier. It's beautiful. When it's time for the barn's roof to be replaced I know who to call. Brandy was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about metal roofing. We have a 100+ yr old home, he knew a lot about older homes and we felt comfortable with how much he cared for our home (being so old). His team has our roof installed completely in less than 3 days. Extremely hard working, efficient, and have a real talent. We’ve also noticed such a difference with temperature in our upstairs with their venting/heat reflecting system! Would recommend this team 1000x over!

My experience with Alpha Rain has been extremely positive and NOT short lived.
We experienced a hail storm about 10 years ago and needed a new roof. We selected a metal roof and Alpha Rain as the roofer. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they handled the installation and managed the insurance company along the way. They really took the hassle out of it. 10 years since the installation, no issues. Until recently.

About 3 months ago, my roof, or so I thought, developed a leak on my veranda. The leak was coming through the ceiling of the veranda an onto the floor. Fortunately it was outside of my home and not inside my house. I called Alpha Rain and they came out a couple of times to diagnose the problem. They found the leak. It was not the roof. It was the fascia connected to the siding that was causing the leak. No one has been up on my roof since the installation so this must have just come undone. My home is 23 years old.

Upon diagnosis, they repaired the fascia. I have witnessed several severe rain storms since their repair and not a drop. Even though the repair needed was not the roof, they did it anyway and didn't charge me, even though I would have gladly paid.

If you are looking for a roofer that will do a wonderful job and be there for you over the long haul look no further than Alpha Rain.

We are very satisfied AlphaRain customers. About 12 years ago they repaired French-style gutters on our home. These gutters were an integral part of the roof structure, and the leaks coming from them were a potential cause of major damage to our home’s structure. Brandy and his people had the expertise, skills, equipment, and professionalism to solve our problem.
Since that time, we have moved to a home built in 1975. It had two layers of asphalt shingles that were showing their age. After researching several options, we turned to AlphaRain for their new metal shingle product. It was a better option than asphalt shingles AND was lower than the best price we received for asphalt shingles. As was the case 12 years ago, the people of AlphaRain were outstanding. We are very happy with our new roof.

I advise those interested in a new roof not to hire Alpha Rain of Warrenton/Brandy Station, VA. I had a metal roof Installed July 2019 by Alpha Rain and I have been dealing with a leaky roof since July 2020.
The difficulty is dealing with the arrogant, superiority attitude of Brandy Dysart. When I initially contacted him about the leak in July he confidently stated that his roofing and the workmanship would not leak. I reported to him that water was coming down one of the vent pipes. He explained to me that I needed to have a plumber fix a plumbing problem. I spent a month placing trays to investigate where the water was coming in at when it rained. I determined the water was coming in ‘around’ the vent pipe and not through it. After several calls he sent over the ‘foreman’ who had managed my roofing project. The foreman determined the skylight was allowing the water in and he said he sealed it. However, the leak continued. I called Brandy at the beginning of November and informed him rain was still coming into my house from the attic. He said with the Thanksgiving holiday it would not be until the beginning of December before he could get someone out. I called him back on December 10 and he then stated they wouldn’t have time to come out until after Christmas. When I never heard back from him to schedule it, I called him back today, January 15th. During that call, Brandy became angry and stated the skylight was not under warranty. He became even more angry the longer he was on the phone. I attempted to remind him that in the original roofing project the roofing crew would determine the integrity of the skylight and whether or not to replace it (the contract gives Alpha Rain the option to replace or use the existing skylight as ‘to be determined’). Further, the same foreman stated in August 2020 that he sealed the leak. The skylight was the source of water coming into my home. During my phone call on January 15th I allowed Brandy to vent. He was very condescending and elaborated that I am not a roofer and that I am not being reasonable with my expectation for him to get this leak resolved. Brandy could not get past his superiority as a roofer to understand that I have been dealing with water coming into my home through the summer and fall, and now the winter. This tasking has been in his domain since October and yet he vents his frustration for my unreasonable urgency? He should be well aware that I have never balked at paying for a new skylight. Toward the end of our phone discussion today, Brandy became very loud stating that I was making him angry. He indicated that he did not want to service me any further and said to get a different company to fix it. I attempted to tell him that I wanted to keep the resolution of the leaking of the roof all under one company. He stated it would be 4 more months out (after the already 3 months I had waited for him to call me to schedule and he didn't). I had to hang up because he was yelling so loudly and he would not give me a chance to speak.
To reiterate – never choose Alpha Rain for your roofing needs. The lead person, Brandy Dysart, does not support the integrity of his company’s work. Prior to hiring him to install a new roof, we had read some bad reviews about Alpha Rain but unfortunately we disregarded those. Our experience post-installation is 100% consistent with those bad reviews in which he refuses to take responsibility for problems associated with his company’s work and his anger management issues.

In our conversation earlier today you repeatedly interrupted and prevented me from asking you for your help with the rain pouring in through my roof. You are in error with your statement ' I did not want to replace a $300-400 skylight', really? On a $32,000 project? At this point you illustrate your ambivalence to my situation. Friends , listen, when it rains it pours and Brandy's response is it'll be 4 months before he can get out to help - stay away from this business

I would highly recommend alpha rain for any metal roof project. Excellent quality materials and workmanship. I've never seen a crew work harder and more efficiently. (I was a contractor for over 35 years) Started and finished on schedule. These guys know standing seam roofing like nobody else. Custom work is no problem. The 3 man crew has over 45 years of experience in metal roof work. The job site was kept clean, and final cleanup was thorough. Price and warranty were superior. A+++. Thanks again, Jamie

We had very faded asphalt roof. We wanted something that will last and look great over the years. We had the Roof installed and looks amazing.

From start to finish Alpha Rain did an amazing job. Jason was honest and trust worthy through the whole process. The installation went smoothly and the guys made sure my property was clean of trash before they left each day. They did a great job with my metal shingles installation.

After interviewing at least a dozen roofing companies to replace the metal roof on our home built in 1912 I thought I wouldn't find a company I liked. I was looking ahead as our roof needed to be replaced and I wanted to know about how much it was going to cost so we could plan and save. I let all of them know it would be replaced in a year or so. Many of them insisted my husband be at our next meeting or my favorite was talk to you husband and tell us what his decision is. Brandy, the owner of Alpha Rain Metal Roofing was a pleasure to work with! He understood I was the person he and his employees would be working/deal with not my husband.

I am very happy with my new roof from Aplha Rain. They have great equipment to make the job easier and cleaner than other roofers I have dealt with and they offer a great product with no hard sell. With the longer expected life of a metal roof, I think it was good value for the money and it looks great. The only downside is that I wish there would have been a little better communication between Alpha Rain and my general contractor. I introduced them via e-mail and recommended a quick sync up call which just did not come together - Perhaps this would have prevented me from spending extra on rake detail for my new fascia and soffit that was then just covered by roofing wide roof flashing.

We really were pleased with the Alpha Rain team! The quality of the work, great materials, concern for the details (especially on fit and trim), communication throughout, and final cleanup! Alpha Rain replaced the 100 year old standing seam metal roof on our old farmhouse. The crew was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. They even came back to repair a dent caused by the gutter crew who came after them. Brandy and his son thoroughly explained the project and all the research that brought them to providing a first class product. We feel confident that we got the best materials and design for our roof. We appreciated their attention and monitoring from start to finish. They really know their stuff.

Summary: Outstanding customer service; fair pricing; relatively painless installation; beautiful results. Our nearly 100 year old metal roof was leaking in a few spots. We got several estimates to replace it and chose Alpha Rain a) for fairness of price and b) because we felt the most comfortable with them based on Brandy's presentation. Originally, they told us we'd have to wait 5 months for the installation. (But they would help us to patch it in the meantime at no additional charge--really nice.) But due to the (very poor) condition of our roof, they were able to prioritize getting ours done 3 months earlier than scheduled. We've had the new roof for 4 months now. No leaks, and it's just beautiful. I also want to note that the guys who did the installation were terrific. It's a loud thing to have a metal roof installed--no getting around that. But they worked quickly, and we couldn't believe how clean they left the place. Almost like they'd never been there, except we had a beautiful new roof. Thanks so much to Brandy and the crew at Alpha Rain for such great service!

Great job by Brandy describing how the roof would be constructed and what the options were. The crew did a great job and done in 2.5 days for a 3,000 SF roof. My only issue was they did not clean up after the 2nd day but everything was completed and cleaned up on the last day. The black kid they had there the first day did a FABULOUS job keeping the site cleaned up but he was not with them on the 2nd day. Overall a great job. I definitely recommend them if you want a quality standing seam metal roof.

We contracted Alpha Rain to replace our leaky 120 year old standing seam roof. Out of the gate, I spoke with Brandy on the phone about our roof and I felt instantly comfortable that he knew what he was talking about regarding metal roofs.

Brandy came out for a home visit and explained the products he uses in great detail and actually shows you how a metal roof is installed using a model. Something that no other company bothered to do but was quite informative. The sales pitch was not pushy, and the pricing was among the most affordable of quotes we received.

After we chose to move forward with the roof replacement, they had someone out within a week to patch our existing leaks (there were many) until they were available for the full install.

When the install date rolled around, we were guided through every step of the installation ahead of time including where they place their trailers and materials, how long it would take, how they clean up, etc. When the team arrived, they were very courteous and efficient. The roof was largely replaced in 2 days with some minor finishing work on a 3rd day.

We are thrilled with the look of the roof and since the install, we've had a downpour and a couple snow days and no more leaks! I'd recommend Alpha Rain to anyone looking for a metal roof!

Alpha Rain did an amazing job on our metal roof. They worked with us through the wettest year on record, as we built our first home from the ground up. We had several delays getting to the point where our roof could be installed and Alpha Rain went above and beyond keeping us dry inside with installing underlayment before the roof was ready to go on. I called Alpha Rain when the hidden gutter on my (c. 100 yrs old) metal roof started leaking. We sought advice and quotes from 4 or 5 different companies, but none came close to Alpha Rain with regard to the genuine respect and concern, breadth of experience and knowledge, and attention to detail that Brandy and Paul demonstrated during their visit to provide an estimate. Given the state of our roof, we decided on a full replacement and put ourselves on the 2+ month wait list.

In the meantime, Alpha Rain caulked the leaks in our old roof, free of charge. Rains in Spring and early Summer 2018 proved too much, though, and we continued to experience some pretty heavy leaks while we waited for replacement. Understanding our predicament, Brandy and Paul moved us up in their queue by more than a month to help us out!

The entire replacement, from start to finish, took only 3 days - including delays for continued heavy rain and some unforeseen problems. After removing the old roof, we found that a significant portion of the roof's structural elements were rotted from 10+ years of sustained leaking. Alpha Rain replaced the damaged wood and rebuilt nearly an entire corner of the roof (again, free of charge). The team working on our house was courteous and professional - and extremely hard working.

As first-time home owners dealing with such an overwhelming problem, we couldn't have been in better hands. If you're looking for any sort of metal roofing work, do yourself a favor and call Brandy and Paul.

I have always wanted to put a metal roof on my house bc of the durability. By chance I came across Alpha Rain and could not have been more please about the entire process from start to finish. Brandy was extremely accommodating as I was in the process of applying for a home equity loan which took a very long time. The product and service are amazing. The house looks awesome and it increased the value and curb appeal of the home. I will never need another roof, and taking advantage of Alpha Rain's patented ventilation system, they have reduce the attic temperature extending the life of my new HVAC system. My personal feelings about Brandy and his team was like working with a trusted family member. Honest, dedicated hardworking professionals who will do the job right (the first time) and follow through. Worthy of my highest recommendations.

Excellent product, excellent service! We had an all-around positive experience getting a new metal roof from AlphaRain and the Dysarts last summer (2015). I also really appreciated their willingness to answer my many questions with thoughtful and researched answers. This roof will last well past our lifetime, and even then it can be recycled which I feel pretty good about. Plus we may be getting a tax credit on it. I hired alpha rain to replace our asphalt shingle roof with standing metal seam, replace three skylights, and remove the old shingles (instead of installing overtop of them). The crew did a fabulous job, the roof looks awesome, they cleaned up better than I expected, and job was on-time. I will hire Alpha Rain again to install new gutters.

Started on time, finished on time, excellent materials and really good installation. Followed-up to make sure all the valleys were draining well. Moving from Asphalt tile to his metal is saving us over $100/month on air conditioning in the summer. Next step: solar panels -- which will be easy to install now.
