Without a doubt Almeida Roofing, Inc. is the way to go, five star all the way. It was a great experience working with them. When I called to make an appointment to have Kevin come out and give me a cost to reseal my flat roof he came right out the next morning went up on the roof and checked everything out then explained everything they needed to do. Then a couple of days later I called them to set up the appointment to do the job and around a week or so later they came out and got started. When we set up the appointments for power washing, primer and sealer they kept to those days and times. Everyone was very nice and professional. Melissa was great at the office, whenever I had questions she always replied right back with an answer. Can't say enough good things about them. Thank you for the excellent job.

Happy with the experience. Bought a home that needed a new roof. Received several quotes and decided to go with Almeida. Their price was competitive. They were able to schedule and complete the job as quickly as we needed.

I have used Almeida Roofing many times, going back to an entire roof replacement many years ago. I have a flat roof which requires more maintenance than many other roofs due to the intense AZ sun. Just had new skylights installed and some sealing done, and I am very satisfied. The price very reasonable and the workmanship was outstanding. I need to update my review. After I posted my initial 3 star review, the company contacted me literally within an hour. I explained my concerns and issues. They got right on my problems. Next day, sent someone out to review the property and that evening had a group of people cleaning up the remains. They could have left things the way they were but they took care of me! There's a reason why they are mentioned the most for roofing needs on Nextdoor. I will definitely recommend them for anyone needing roof repairs. Thank you for your prompt response to my issues.

While it seems the craftsmanship was very good. I have a serious problem with MY cleanup. I have nails EVERYWHERE! It's gonna take a LONG time to cleanup the nails and the pieces of the black underlayment that is all around my house. They also detached a satellite system and just left it hanging off my roof. I also have empty paint spray cans and a sheet of plywood I have to dispose of. I had to buy a magnet to collect all of the nails around my house.

Had a few tiles damaged by a storm that needed to be replaced. Other roofers only wanted jobs for whole roof replacement. Almeida had their guy out right away to do an inspection and give a free estimate which was reasonable. I am thankful that Almeida was willing to take this small and keep my home protected.

Quality work at lowest price. I shopped around the valley for roof replacement for two houses so far, they were the best in the north valley.

Kevin and his crew did an amazing job repairing our back patio roof. Everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs making sure our dogs didn’t escape while they had the gates open. They made sure everything was cleaned and all our questions answered before leaving. We will definitely be using them again when we get ready to replace the tiles. Very professional honest and dependable. Local and family owned is a big plus. The owners are absolutely amazing, can’t say enough good things about this company.

Had some minor to moderate roof tile repairs done. They came out within a couple days of my call to do the estimate. I agreed on the fair price and they were out the next week to do the repairs.

Almeida Roofing stuff were very professional and did a great work on my roofing. A front year tree fell over my roof during monsoon season and damaged the corner of the roof. I called, they came one day to quote, delivery the material the following day and fixed the roof on the next day on a half day work. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Almeida Roofing! I run a property management company and have used Almeida Roofing to complete several roofing jobs and numerous roofing repairs. They are always very prompt, easy to deal with and professional. I would highly recommend them to everyone for their roofing needs!

BEWARE! We used Almeida for a tear off on our house in Mesa. We promptly sent our 50% deposit so they would start our project. From day 1 there was a lot of miscomunication. They forgot to install the fascia that we specifically asked for and also forgot to reconnect certain utilities such as our hot water heater exhaust, and other things. They sent an invoice out but the job was NOT done. We called to ask them and could not get a hold of anyone, no one ever called us back, then randomly one day another person was at our house finishing these items. There was no communication whatsoever. They don’t have control over their own jobs and have the worst service. When I got the final bill I noticed there was decking on it. Since I’m not a professional roofer I didn’t know what that is, I emailed to ask and the owner was extremely rude to me, I was so shocked that an owner of any company would talk to me that way. I then asked for photos, after viewing I promptly mailed my second check to pay the balance. They cashed our first check 2/8/22 and our 2nd on 4/5, it had to be mailed from a different state, they didn’t offer us another way to pay. The invoice was dated 2/17 however our roof was not finished until 3/28/22. On that day the owner emailed us stating things were done and to please remit payment. Just 2 days later they filed a 20 day lien notice. Then a couple weeks later I received a 2nd 20 day lien notice. Many weeks after we have been paid in full.
As I look at our communication the emails with my questions are the same day they filed this lien, truly the owner is being vengeful. She gave me grief about the payment taking about 5 days, but we live out of state and the only way to pay them is to send a check in the mail. My questions were valid and I didn’t deserve the rude replies, let alone a lien notice. I complained to the BBB, her response to the complaint was that I cannot read and was not involved in this project. I certainly can read and I've owned this home for 20 years, all checks were from me and I am certainly the customer.
This is unacceptable in so many ways, they should be ashamed. Sorry for the rant but people need to know this before working with them. Pay more and hire a company that values your business.

Almeida roofing was recommended by a neighbor and his recommendation was a good one. I bid the job out and Almeida was the most attractive bid. They replaced the underlayment on our tile roof. They scheduled the job promptly and followed the outlined schedule to the letter. All elements of the job were performed on a timely and professional basis. The quality of the work looks good and the price was reasonable. We would recommend them to anyone looking for any roofing needs.

Kevin with Almeida did not fulfill contract installation of critical parts of the Roof work wich caused future leaks. When called upon to warranty the work or finish the installation of work that was supposed to have been done he was aggressive and unprofessional. A simple resolution could have been achieved but they did not want to fullfil the contract or do what is right. WARNING! do not use this company..... Poor work and require Yearly maintenance work to hold a warranty they won't stand behind.

We used this company to install our roof 6 years ago. The first leak resulted in us having to have a wall removed due to water damage. They looked inside the attic and said it was fine and threw some putty on the fixtures outside. Then had part of our ridge vent fly off due to wind , we had to pay out of pocket to have that fixed because that was not covered under the warranty. Fast forward to another leak which I had them come out to check, the guy didn't do what I asked, ran some water over the roof and said it was fine and left. So rude. These leaks have cost me almost every thing I own. They will not call me back and I have called every day for the last week.

Update... After writing a not so nice letter to the owner he told me he won't be verbally abused by me and to contact the manufacturer and find another company to do the work. Nice! Now I have to pay another company to fix his roof job. Again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Recently wind damaged our roof. Our roof has multi levels & damaged included only 1 pitch. We started our claim with ins & called Almeida Roofing. We had the pleasure of meeting the Almeida family previously & we were happy to have them give a quote. Not only was Almeida's quote less. It was thousands less. Our ins co decided our roof repair was worth &1029.00. After our $1000 deductible $29. Almeida called a week later to follow up. After they learned our story, they ordered our roof shingle, scheduled the work & repaired it for an unbelievable price. Hard to find quality in business these days... we found it at Almeida.

I must say since day one that i met these beautiful ,outgoing, very honest family business .I feel like they have become part of my family not only did I have the pleasure and honor to meet them for business relations but i feel as if I had known them forever, just the way they welcomed us was amazing. Almeida Roofing is an excellent company. They came highly recommended from people we know who used them for their roof. They definitely lived up to the reputation that proceeded them. I was given a thorough, professional and free inspection immediately after request. An honest and straightforward estimate came from that. It covered all aspects of the job and was also economical. I subsequently accepted their quote and they went right to work. They completed the job on time and to my complete satisfaction. After 2 experiences involving 2 different types of roofing materials and installations, I would highly recommend this company for their expertise in analyzing a problem, pricing, timely response, cleanliness and total professionalism. Excellent company and employees.

Almeida did a fantastic job with our roof! Their price was cheaper than others, they were quick to order and drop of materials, then get the job finished in under a week. I would highly recommend!

Very happy with their work and their prices are reasonable. We had an issue that showed up about a month after their resealing work on our roof but they showed up quickly and made the small fix.

The good about this company and their install was the cost and the fact that my roof did not leak.

Unfortunately, that was where the good stopped. I felt that many corners were cut on the installation. Photo below is an excellent example. Almeida will exclude painting from their scope (which is fair). But then they perform work, remove fascia (and in one spot - replace it with a 2x4), and install the roof in a way that does not allow you to come back and paint the wood they replace. I am not sure why this was done.

Also photoed are spots on my flat roof where the rolled roofing was bubbled. Their fix was to shoot sealant into the void, rather than heat up the roofing and reseal, which they told me they would do.

It took three return visits to correct issues. First pass included flashings missing and possibly the worst cut on a flat roof I have ever seen. My flat roof over the garage still has an area where the flashings seem to have a drop in them, but I've just accepted this is the way it is going to be now.

I felt the final visit to correct issues was the top guy. He was quite good, but could only do so much to salvage what had already been done.

All in all, if you're in a bind, these guys should be low and based on my experience, do care to make sure your roof doesn't leak. If you have the time to stand over their shoulder and manage the work, you'll probably be OK. But if you want something done with attention to detail, I'd recommend going elsewhere and paying a little more. I wish I had.

I have a 20-year old 2-story house with a barrel-tiled gabled roof. Two of the upstairs rooms in the house have flat roofs above them, and both of those rooms had leaks. The roof portion that was gabled wasn't leaking, but considering the age of the house, I decided to replace it all. Kevin gave me an estimate and explained that they would remove the tile, strips, etc and go down to bare plywood, seal up any perforations, and then put a new underlayment down. They installed flashings, and furring strips , re-used the existing tiles (replacing any that were broken or cracked). They finished the entire thing in 4 or 5 days, and cleaned up the debris and hauled it away. Right after they finished the job, we had several straight days of October rain. I did not get any water in the house where the previous leaks existed so now I'm confident that it was well worth choosing Almeida Roofing. I'm very happy with their transferrable guarantee so that once I sell the house, the new owners can rest easy over their remaining portion of the 10 years.

My landlord chose this company, to repair our roof. Long story short, they left the day of the storm, 7/30/18, and did not protect the roof. The inside of building got destroyed, as well as over $18,000 of damage to personal property....so far no returned calls from the company, and not getting any luck contacting them through landlord either.

All of the work was done on time and with the result that I was expecting. They did a good job of cleaning up debris and nails. I would recommend them to anybody wanting a quality job.

Their bid was fair and everything was done with keeping me informed as one of their priorities. When they found the bad wood that I knew they would, they brought it to our attention immediately. The installers were all very friendly and they cleaned everything up. I would and have recommended them to friends and neighbors. Nothing but good experiences with Almeida Roofing. We had our 43 year old concrete tile roof completely replaced, including a lot of plywood and fascia boards (water damage). The quote was fair and reasonable. Almeida's crew did an amazing job, and were nice enough to paint the fascia boards as they were installing them, which saved me a lot of hassle. They were quick, courteous and communicated well throughout the process. My wife and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area that needs any roof work done.

Excellent service and excellent work. Kevin came on site during our new home inspection period to give us a no-fee estimate, which seems to be rare these days.
After some delays closing on the home, Melissa worked quickly with us to schedule the date of installation. They were very accommodating to take a deposit from the title company to get us on the schedule.

Recently, we had some damage from a microburst, and they came out to replace the damaged shingles. They are timely, informative, and do great work. Almeida Roofing was a pleasure to do business with. We had our entire roof replaced in July 2015. Everyone was very professional and completed the work on time and within the estimated amount. The crew leader kept us informed throughout the process and was very communicative with any questions or concerns they had. Our new roof is beautiful and we would recommend Almeida to anyone.

I contacted this company to evaluate a possible roof leak, because there was water damage in my family room ceiling. They put a tarp on the roof ($100.00) and gave me an estimate of approximately $5000 to repair a roof leak that they claimed was caused by faulty workmanship. The inspector for my homeowners insurance claimed the leak was the result of the roof vents. After having another roofer inspect the property, it was determined that there was NO roof leak. The water is coming from the air conditioner overflow in the attic. There is absolutely no evidence of a roof problem in that area. When I contacted Almeida Roofing to advise them that the tarps that I paid for were not needed and that they had given me an estimate to repair damage that didn't exist, I spoke with KEVIN. He was defensive, argumentative and rude. I tried to explain to him that my interior damage is much more extensive because of the misdiagnosis and the tarps were not needed. Furthermore, the technicians removed caps and tiles and did not replace them properly, which I will have to have replaced. I also brought up the fact that the estimate was basically "bogus". His response was "then don't sign the contract. Find someone else." Which, obviously, I already have. I feel that Almeida roofing should be responsible for the repair of what they did. I have cracked and misplaced tiles/caps because they pulled some off and walked on my tile roof and cracked tiles. Also, I should not pay for the tarps. Almeida Roofing is a rip-off.

I chose this company because of their good reviews. The guys that came to the house and did the work were professional and effecient. There was damage done to the interior of my house. I contacted the company regarding the issues. They stated they were not responsible for the damage. I was dissastified with their lack of concern regarding the issue.

They were amazing. I had heard alot about the storm chasers that came to arizona so I wanted to wait awhile and let the chaos settle after the hail storm to do my roof. From the start the customer service was amazing. Alicia set up my estimate and explained to me the process so I knew what to expect. The estimator came out did exactly what Alicia said he would do and they emailed me the estimate later that day. When the crew came to do the work they knocked on the door to let me know they were there... The workers were all very nice! They cleaned up very nicely and my yard looked the way it did before they came. I was so happy with this company.. I would highly recommend them to everyone! Kevin and his crew repaired shingles that had blown off and came back to find a leak that had been pledging the building for over 5 years. Kevin found 2 areas that where probable leaks were. He repaired both and charged me a reasonable price!! I will never call another roofer!! (We have even used Kyko roofing; paid a ton!)
