Bud and the APS team are phenomenal. We meet them at the home show this year and out of all the contractors we meet, they were the only ones to respond quickly with a site visit and estimate. We had an ice damming issue and a bulging wall and they came in, give us an estimate and repaired everything in a timely manner. They are very professional and the communication with the team was spot on. We hired them again to begin a kitchen remodel with some other home improvements and are excited to work with them again.

I originally hired APS to fix an ice dam I had on my house from the Anchorage 2024 winter snowmaggeden in preparation to sell my house in the spring.They were very punctual and detailed with their bid. I appreciated they were available by text, phone or email and communicated regularly. I sold ice dam house and purchased a new property and I enlisted APS for all the reno's needed. Trust worthy, communicative and spent time explaining the process to a "novice" which was much appreciated and instilled confidence. I am a single, widowed woman and next to car salesman and realtors- contractors are my least favorite group to deal with but APS is the ultimate exception. My projects aren't done and I will continue to use APS until they are. Highly recommend.

We had a water leak inside a wall that extended to drywall and carpeting. We had used APS for insulation, so we called Bud again. He responded quickly and assessed the problem. We had already called our insurance carrier, and APS transitioned to working with them, which relieved us of additional worry. The project involved drywall replacement, repainting, and new carpet. APS worked with our timetable to ensure we had the repairs and damaged furnishings replaced. Not only will we recommend APS, but we feel they are the top contractors in South-central Alaska, and seeking any other contractor would be wasting your time. Choose APS; they are professional, work with you, and you will get a flawless finished product.

Bud, Morie and crew completed a remodel in preparation for selling. They redid our kitchen, bathrooms, repainted, back deck in our fauna oasis and the pallet focal wall (and all new doors). The finished product, I’m positive, resulted in a full price offer 2 days after listing! Thanks guys. You and your expert crew did a fantastic job!

Great experience working with Bud, Morie, and the team. They worked with us very closely for our kitchen remodel and helped us cut costs and come up with innovative solutions to issues as they occurred. Very easy to work with, and highly recommend APS as a contractor!

ASP took care of my ventilation and insulation problems in my attics. They were professional, friendly and efficient while performing the work. I highly recommend Bud Bovee. The ASP team was kind and caring, as well as, skillful and professional.

APS removed our bathtub, surrounding drywall, & wood-framed window. They reinforced the floor & built a walk-in shower with tile on the floor & surrounding walls. They installed a vinyl-framed window, a rain head shower, a handheld shower, and a single handle. The handle is on the wall opposite the shower, so we can turn it on & let the water warm up before standing under the rain head. They built a pony wall with a cubby for shampoos and installed tempered glass that extends from the pony wall to the ceiling. They installed a solid surface countertop & sink and a new faucet. They also painted the bathroom walls. The crew worked from 8 am to 4:30 pm every weekday for 5 weeks. They were highly skilled & hardworking, and they treated us with kindness & respect. The estimate for how long the project would take was overly optimistic, but we will definitely hire them again for a future project.

APS did an amazing job on a commercial remodel, great communication very professional from start to finish. Can't wait to use them on the next project.

I met APS folks at the Anchorage Home Show in 2022. They listened, understood and immediately helped me schedule an estimate for work on a home I just bought and had a month to work on before moving in. We phased the work to fit my schedule and their availability. Their tight knit crew was on time, professional, and courteous, Work completed included painting the whole house, adding attic insulation, installation of new attic access, completion of structural support in our crawl space, and installing a new shiplap ceiling house-wide. Later they also completed front door replacement for me on the home. They provided the details I needed to apply the energy tax credit, too! I highly recommend these guys!

When I was on vacation the furnace went out and pipes burst flooding my house. They repaired my house wonderfully. They were there everyday - early. They cleaned up at the end of each day.

Not only good work, but good guys. They listen to my wants. They get along with each other. It’s fun to listen to them joking with each other and brainstorming as they figure out an issue.

When they bid a job, that’s what you pay. However, they have also been flexible when, if they come across a hidden problem they are willing to bid that additional work and stay until the work is complete.

I have turned to them for additional work on my house and they have remained the same awesome workers and people. They have earned my loyalty and trust. They are who I go to!

We hired Alaska Professional Services, LLC for some home improvement/ insulation work in 2023 and we were very happy with the results. We received an estimate for the work and then the work was completed on-schedule and on-budget. All of the crews were extremely professional. Bud was very easy to communicate with and to work with. We will definitely hire them again for home improvement projects.

I had a great experience with Alaska Professional Services. I had been looking for someone to blow insulation in my Attic and fix some roof trusses that had been damaged. They were quick to respond, get me an estimate and start the job. They kept in communication throughout the job and addressed all my concerns along the way. I would highly recommend them for any future projects.
