Lucas was wonderful to work with. He answered all of my questions no matter how many I seemed to ask and never made me feel like I was asking too much. He was always quick to respond, kept me updated on the status of my project, and was very professional. He never hesitated to come out to take a look at something that I may have had a question on, and the quality of my project is superior and I could not have found a better contractor for the job. He made a family dream come true. I will definitely be using A.L Woolhouse for any of my projects to come!

I would not hesitate to hire A.L. Woolhouse for any remodeling/building job. Luke and Al did a great job building my two stall garage. Communication was second to none. We made modifications to the plans as the project progressed and Luke didn't hesitate to give us his opinions and accommodate the changes. ETA: about 1.5-2 yrs out from remodel it turns out there was a malfunctioning piece of plumbing extension under the sink. There was a slow leak for some time (no idea how long). We didn't realize until water was on the bathroom floor. We dried everything out and turned the water off to the sink. I will say that Luke responded to my text, came and took a look at the issue, and had someone come pick up old construction materials left under our sunroom from the initial project, so all of that was good. However, I was left without a functioning sink in my bathroom for over two weeks (it was fixed by the guy doing my fence replacement in less than 7 minutes and with parts that cost less than $20) and I have a, fortunately functional and structurally sound, but damaged custom vanity after spending about $80k less than 2 years ago. The contract says a 1-yr for warranty and that's what it means, though I've found some MN statues that say 3 years is required. Either way, I am still overall very pleased with the majority of work in our basement but not overly enthusiastic about long-term quality commitment.

I enthusiastically recommend A.L. Woolhouse for any construction needs you have, especially if you have a big job and want impeccable quality, good communication, and an on-schedule experience.

Lucas and his team managed an extensive remodel of our basement. This included adding a legal bedroom, custom storage for under the stairs, adding a wet bar, and redoing the bathroom. The previous "finished" space needed to be ripped out to the foundation, so Lucas and his team built it from the foundation out and ended up replacing and updating plumbing, wiring, hvac, etc.

Lucas works with regular partners for tile, cabinets, and electric and he has long-standing relationships, which means that you don't have to worry if they will have the same standards and quality as he does.

Lucas is fantastic at communicating by email and text, he and his teams show up when he says they will, and everyone is really friendly and great to work with.

We will be having A.L. Woolhouse do our kitchen remodel soon because we are so incredibly pleased by this experience. They book out several months, though, so get on his schedule before you're ready to start your project!

What can I say about A.L. Woolhouse Construction....nothing but good things!! Luke is the BEST!! We had a detached 2 car garage built right between two large trees. We thought at least on of the trees was going to have to go but Luke said absolutely not and built a beautiful garage with large storage space in the back right between our large trees. We had quite a waiting game going with the weather and trying to beat the winter soon to arrive and even with the weather delays Luke and his team got the job done! The team at A.L. Woolhouse is nothing but professional and courteous, always keeping in contact with you to let you know the progress and any scheduling that may need to occur. Which has not been the case with a lot of past contractors we have used doing our renovation work! Did I mention their competitive pricing? The garage we wanted was a little over the budget of what we were looking to do with adding a complete new concrete driveway and sidewalk, when discussed with Luke he said he wanted to build our garage and crossed off the total price and wrote down a figure closer to what we had budgeted! With all the work we have done at the house we haven't had one contractor come in under budget, and he went ahead and matched our budget! So I can't say enough good things about Luke and his team at A.L.Woolhouse! Great job, Great price, Great quality and GREAT people!!

Luke and his team did a fantastic job on our garage. Not only does it exceed my hopes, his crew got it done on a tight deadline, in the midst of a pandemic. The quality is exceptional and our new garage has been dubbed the Taj Mahal of our neighborhood. Our family could is delighted with their craftsmanship and we recommend them highly. In fact, we are already hoping to get them back again for our basement!

We recently worked with A.L. Woolhouse to have a detached garage built for our home. From the very beginning, everyone with Woolhouse was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and personable. Good grief, I love these guys. They helped me from start (estimating the cost and process for everything that would have to go into building on raw land) to finish (wrapping up the finish on the house with gutters and stairs and decks) as general contractors. It's such a huge task to take on and keep organized! Luke was so easy to contact with questions and advice, and that was such a monumental thing! They held my hand through a very stressful and involved project and kept me from going bananas with worry. I got very, very lucky to have these guys as my general contractors.

We chose to use this team to replace our siding on our home. I am so glad we did. They are the best contractors in the state of Minnesota in my opinion. They are very knowledgeable and professional. We enjoyed working with Luke. He helped us every step of the way. His team was over and they wasted no time getting to work. They even came over after a rainstorm, which we certainly did not expect them to. If we ever need a contractor again, they will be the first people we call. They answered our questions! If I had to rate these guys it would be 10/10! They built us the most beautiful detached garage the pictures don't even do it justice. They do great work at a fair price and are always reachable. I can't say enough good things about them and I'm honestly going to miss having them around. You'd be crazy to go with anyone else.
