Ak Restoration Pro Anchorage Water & Fire

Worked with Chris for water issues related to ice dam in Feb. They were recommended by a friend at the time and have been great to work with. They were very quick to respond, easy to reach, easy to work with. Would work with them again and recommend to others.

My 92-year old mother's furnace sprung a huge leak and probably leaked for at least a day (if not more) flooding her entire downstairs with water. The stress on her was incredible but when I called Chris the next day, he was able to come out right away and that evening, had his crew there, getting the water out, taking out all the carpet from downstairs, checking all the walls, making sure there was no mold, talking my mom and me through the process, explaining everything, making sure we understood what was going on. Great company!! Chris was extremely responsive and professional. I had a bad leak that damaged part of my second floor, including the carpeting. The water damage extended down to the laundry room and kitchen. I needed someone fast and reliable. I am happy that I came across AK Restoration. They mitigated and repaired in no time. AK restoration is SPECTACULAR! My husband and I found water dripping from our smoke detector late at night so we called and Chris was able to come over and arrived within 15 minutes of calling. I highly recommend this company! Chris came out for an inspection the same day I called. He walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions. He left a dehumidifier and hepa air filter on site to begin the drying process right away until he could get back to complete the project a few days later. He was able to come back to do the work sooner then he thought.

Our experience with AK Restoration Pro was fantastic. We dealt with Chris, who was very responsive and was able to inspect our mold issue in under 24 hours. The other companies I spoke with in Anchorage weren’t available for at least 48 hours. As I was flying out of the state the morning of the visit, I was able to text with Chris and arrange for him to inspect the house while my girlfriend was home. He was punctual, professional, and gave us lots of great advice and insight into our issue. Best of all, he didn’t even charge for the initial visit. This winter we ended up with alot of snow on the roof which led to an Ice Damn. Normally these aren't an issue but this time we ended up with some water in the basement. I worked with Chris and he was great. He came out shortly after we called and looked over everything. He went through the entire process and what to expect. He answered all the questions we had and also explained why they needed to do what they needed to do. The entire team was great and we are extremely happy with the work and the team.

We had our hot water heater spring a leak and came home to the master closet floor soaked and it was leaking into our crawlspace. Not to mention all over the garage floor. Chris and Joseph came out within an hour and pulled our base boards for and told us, we caught it early and we’re doing all the right things. They didn’t feel like we needed help and wouldn’t take any money for coming out And removing the base trim!

We had a dishwasher water hose completely break mid-cycle and water came gushing out so fast it caused a lot of water build up in a short amount of time. After turning off the water I called AK Restoration Pro and spoke with Chris who came right away, did a free estimate and even left fans and a dehumidifier with us while our landlords were working out the insurance claim. We ultimately didn’t use them due to our landlords insurance but, if it was my choice, we would have in a heartbeat. We haven’t received that kind of customer service and plain kindness in a long time. They made a stressful situation much more manageable. I wholeheartedly recommend the team!

Chris came over within 30 minutes of giving him a call on a Sunday. My water damage was relatively minor but he did a great job checking for moisture and guiding me through the next steps to get it fixed. I definitely will be using them again if I run into any more water damage down the road.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend while I was 7 months pregnant our crawl space flooded and an exterior wall suffered extreme water and wind damage. My husband was at work when I discovered the flooding. We called AK Restoration Pro and Chris (Technician) was at our house within an hour. After a thorough assessment Chris identified that the damage to our home was far more extensive than we realized.

We ended up having to move out of our home due to the damage. Chris and his team worked tirelessly over the holiday weekend to ensure that the flooding was stopped and the damaged drywall was removed to avoid mold. They moved items out from under the crawl space which was above and beyond the call of duty and were extra sensitive to my pregnant tears as I watched our home being torn apart.

Over the following weeks as we had to bring in additional contractors Chris remained a vital part of the team. His communication with us as homeowners, our insurance company, and the various contractors we had in our home was professional, efficient, and compassionate.

I had a waterline break 4 days before house was to get final buyer inspection. Chris was I the house with an hours of the plumbers call to me. Alaska Pro got the place dry and cleaned out so that my contractor could reflow wit a day left before inspection.

My family house has some major water damages to their attic. Chris and his team were very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to dry out the attic. Chris and Irving were great. They came right out and went right to work. My downstairs was flooded from the outside faucet and I hadn’t realized it was flooding for more than half an hour.
