Affordable Remodeling and Roofing

Ricky and Colton have been absolutely great with helping to repair my house after a storm essential cut my house in half. They were extremely helpful in dealing with my insurance company and my adjuster. They are very good with communication and always keep me in the loop with every step of my project. Their team works extremely quickly and does very high quality work. I would recommend them for any home improvement or repair project!

A few weeks back in cartersville, I found myself in an ordinary day that quickly turned extraordinary. I was driving along, enjoying the sunny afternoon, when suddenly, without warning, my car began to sputter and smoke. Panic surged through me as I realized something was terribly wrong. Moments later, flames erupted from under the hood, and I was trapped inside, heart racing and fear gripping my chest.

I could hear voices outside, a crowd gathering, but my focus was solely on escaping the growing inferno. I struggled with the door, but it wouldn’t budge. The heat intensified, and I felt a wave of despair wash over me. Just when I thought all hope was lost, I heard a commanding voice cutting through the chaos.

“Stay calm! I’m coming to help you!” The voice was steady and reassuring, igniting a flicker of hope within me. I turned my head and saw a figure rushing towards me, determination etched on his face. He quickly assessed the situation, and I could see the wheels turning in his mind as he sprinted away, promising to return.

Moments later, he was back, wielding a fire extinguisher. My heart raced as he sprayed it at the flames, creating a small path to my door. “Hang on! I’ll get you out!” he shouted. I could see the fear in the eyes of the crowd, but his focus remained on me. With a swift kick, he shattered the window, and I could hardly believe my eyes when he reached in, unlocked the door, and extended his hand.

“Come on! You can do it!” he urged, and in that moment, I found the strength to push through the fear. I grabbed his hand, and with a firm pull, he helped me escape just as the flames licked at the seat where I had been moments before.

Once we were at a safe distance, I looked back in disbelief at the burning car, then turned to him, my heart pounding with gratitude. “Thank you! I thought I was done for,” I gasped, relief washing over me.

He smiled, brushing off the adrenaline. “Just doing what anyone would do. I’m glad you’re okay!” As the sirens wailed in the distance and the fire department arrived, I felt a wave of gratitude for this stranger who had become my hero.

In the days that followed, we exchanged messages, sharing stories and laughter over coffee. I learned about his work and his passion for helping others. The experience forged an unbreakable bond between us, and every time I looked at the sky, I was reminded of that fateful day when a kind-hearted individual saved my life.

From then on, he wasn’t just a stranger; he was my hero, a reminder that sometimes, in the face of danger, the most unexpected heroes emerge to light the way. And as for the car, it became a story I would tell for years to come, a testament to courage, quick thinking, and the power of friendship.

I was going to call in and complain about an employee who was driving a company vehicle who honked at me at a red light, passed me on solid double lines, slammed on his breaks for me to hit him, gets out of his vehicle at the stop sign and begins to argue with me and belittle me for my nose piercings. I guess I am not surprised with the past reviews of the exact same thing happening.

Great company to work with. We have had several jobs handled by them, most recently they renovated our showers for our house. The work was done quickly, in a quality manner, and affordable. I would definitely use them again.

Customer service was amazing ! We could not be any happier with the painting and repairs of the interior of my home painted every room and kitchen cabinets, painted bathroom cabinets they cleaned up every single day after themselves. Go use affordable they are the best!! This is my first review I have ever posted because I feel like they deserve a five star and to be recognized!

Absolutely nailed our door install. Replaced all exterior doors for a fair price. Got in, got out. Quick installation. Follow up paint the second day. Painters were equally as quick and did a great job overall. We are satisfied customers.

Absolutely thrilled with the roofing and remodel- it's like having a new house! The price was fair and the quality of work outstanding. We got a new roof, deck, siding, windows and doors in a few days with minimal disruption and complete clean-up. Highly recommend!

Best experience we’ve had with a contractor. Roof looks amazing! Done in a day and left no sign they were even here aside from the drastically improved roof.
Took down a load bearing wall and did minimal damage to the ceiling. Had it done in half a day.
Referred two other great contractors for projects they don’t handle.
Their prices never changed throughout the process. Showed up on time for both projects. Work is quality and I will be hiring again! Couldn’t be happier.

UPDATE: after my husband talked to the owner, my review still stands. Excuses were made and we are stuck footing the bill to re-do our shower.

If you are thinking of using this company, DON’T. They remodeled our shower a few years ago. We called them because we noticed moisture issues in our shower, a sprout was growing up from our grout. They said it was past our one year warranty so they wouldn’t help us. Now through our own demo process, we have come to find that they used drywall instead of cement board and the moisture barrier was installed behind it so that obviously didn’t work since all the walls behind the tile are rotted. Our bench was just plywood with the tiles glued to it, and I will gladly provide pictures and video for proof. We now have to demo our entire shower they did because they did not do it correctly, IN THE LEAST. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and possibly more if needed.

Very pleased with this company. They did an honest job and didn't try to milk the quote for every penny. My roof was installed quickly and I have had no problems since installation. My calls and emails were always answered promptly. The staff and roofers were all very friendly and helpful. Their quote was also better than several local competitors.

Affordable Remodeling came out quickly to give me an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. I had major leaking going on in one small area so they were kind enough to move me to the top of the list. It was only a two hour job so I hope that didn't put anyone else behind. Everyone on the crew was very professional and polite. They cleaned up all of their mess. When the inside was completed a few days later and it came time to pay up, the price did not change from what the quote said. I will use them again.
