He even came back a second time to go through the second unit of a duplex I'm buying, as due to a code error we were unable to access the 2nd unit the first time. Jon the home inspector was incredibly rude and impatient. He spoke very poorly to the tenant and ignored repeated requests centered around safe conduct during COVID 19. I'd recommend finding someone else to work with, this is one of my first one star reviews ever and to be honest its cowboy businesses like this who feel overly entitled that give this industry such a poor reputation. I would explore other options unless you don't have another choice.

I am a bit of a perfectionist, and I wanted to be absolutely sure that we knew the ins and outs of our new home before closing. I couldn't be happier with our decision. Jon was thorough and meticulous in his inspection, and this was reflected in his report. He picked up on several potential problems that an earlier inspector of the home had missed. But he also went above and beyond in explaining issues to us, providing useful guidance for the short and long-term care of our new home, and answering all of our questions (of which I had many). He even offered to serve as a resource in the future as we embark on various projects around the house. Finally, when our lender required two last minute reports of repairs, Jon was there in a heartbeat and made two separate trips to the house to provide the requested verification. I will certainly be calling him again next time we need an inspection.

I chose Accurate Inspection Service to handle the inpection on my home purchase and I couldn't be happier. It was, at first, intimidating for me to find someone I trusted as I had never owned a home before and knew nothing about what structural flaws might be present.
My Inspector, Jon, spent a few hours with me going through each room. He pointed out things that needed to be addressed immediately and things I would need to think about in the next 5 yrs. Such as, when to think about getting the roof replaced and what to look for to help make that decision. Jon explained things in an easy to understand way, answered my questions at the time of inspection and also took my call later on to clarify some questions more. I had the finalized report by the next day.
In the end, he found only a few items which the seller took care of right away and I am now a proud homeowner.
