In May of 2024, we had a hailstorm come through, and both the garage and house roofing and siding sustained over $50,000 damage.
I was amazed at how fast they got the work done. Very courteous, crew and seemed like they knew what they were doing. The roof I was unable to inspect, as it's a 2 story house, but the siding looks fantastic. Very high quality work, and great clean up when they finished.

From the start of our home remodel/repair, Sam was on top of every detail. We had previously contracted with AHI for a roof repair and loved the level of service so much that AHI was the only call we needed to make after our home was damaged by significant hail. We worked with Sam to prepare the insurance quote as well as some other desired repairs that would essentially make our home maintenance free on the exterior. Our project considered of a full roof repair to start with gutters and the crew couldn't have done a better job. Everyone showed up on time and clearly knew exactly what to do. The roof only took a single day for about 1,500sf and gutters followed another day. We had a small portion of the project that was planned to remove the front awning, which we discovered was infeasible due to existing structure during demolition. While initially disappointed, we came up with a plan that was mutually agreeable to improve the aesthetic of the house. The craftsmanship is amazing and we couldn't be happier with the end result. The second part of our project was new siding, soffit and fascia. This part occurred about 4 weeks after the roof and was scheduled for 3 days. Similar to The roof work, the crew showed up on time and tackled each day with full force. The foreman Hoo was fantastic, his command of the project and dedication to excellence did not go unnoticed. The only hiccup in the process was the miscommunication about using vented soffit on the entire project versus a mixture of vented and solid. We agreed to stick with the mixture of soffit that showed up on site to keep the project on schedule. After just 2 days, the project was substantially complete and only required a minor return to correct some sealant and adjust downspouts after the new cladding was installed. Overall, there is no one else I could've ever imagined tackling this project as efficiently and professionally like Sam and his team did. I will be recommending them to anyone.

Sam and his crew were beyond great. We had siding, roofing and gutters replaced. Sam was very available, even though he is busy. Any questions I had were answered same day, and I had a lot of questions! We had a specific issue with other work needing to be done before AHI could do their work, Sam made an extra trip out to make sure to tell us exactly what we needed. Very fair pricing compared to the other quotes I received. I’ve called for quotes on various things for our old house over the years, many contractors ghost you or set up an appointment and never show. With Sam, not the case, you will be in very good hands. Crew did excellent clean up as well.

After a hail storm, I called Absolute Home Improvements to come check out my roof. Sam came out very quickly and checked everything over stating there was damage to the roof and gutters. I did call several other companies to do my due diligence and I can say Sam was by far the one I felt most comfortable with. He answered all my questions and concerns and even helped to patch some holes in the shingles from the hail prior to choosing Absolute Home Improvements. In a time where it is difficult to reach contractors, Sam and AHI responded same day. All work was done well and crews were quick and efficient. Along with the roof and gutter replacement, I also had AHI replace window trims, soffits, fascia, trim around my garage door, and siding on a closet bump out. I am so happy with the work completed and would definitely refer Sam and Absolute Home Improvements to anyone looking for some work on their house. If I have any other work on my house I will definitely be calling Sam and Absolute Home Improvements first.

Finally, a contractor that understands the process. As an estimator, Sam knows the concepts of construction. There's an order and a timing that must be followed for a successful final product, and Sam gets that. The crew was great, they produced quality craftsmanship, they were respectful of mine and my neighbor's property, they communicated issues that arose, and they cleaned the site at the end of each workday. The best part was the installation of the LP Smart Side was installed correctly, where unlike some other contractors I have hired, I didn't need to follow after them and fix their mistakes.

Sam and his team was great to work with. He helped guide me through the insurance process as this was my first time dealing with a big insurance claim. He answered all of my questions and was there when the adjuster was on site to make sure nothing was missed. They replaced our siding, roof, and gutters and they did it very quickly. Absolute Home Improvements removed our large living room window and replaced it with a huge sliding glass door. We couldn’t be happier. The workmanship is top notch and, the quality of the material seems very good. It has really opened up our living space, given us more light and has added beauty to our living space. I would definitely have them do work for us again and have shared their contact info with others in need of windows. We did have to wait 2 months for the door to arrive and for installation. I am assuming it had to be manufactured and shipped from?? But, after seeing it, I love it and it was worth the wait!

I have high standards for work done on my house. And I'm happy to say Absolute Home Improvements met and exceeded them! We had new roofs on the house and a large outbuilding, new windows in the house and new siding on the house and the shed. If Google let you give 6 stars I would. Professional at every step of the process. I watched a lot while the work was being done and I observed care and craftsmanship throughout the projects. When you redo a house there are some challenges as you adapt to the structure as it exists. They found attractive ways to handle the challenges. And Sam's price was way better than the guys that advertise on the radio and TV. Someone has to pay for all that advertising. With quality, service and price like AHI has, they don't need to advertise. Word of mouth from satisfied customers is the best advertisement.

In regards to the installation; even though the installers needed to battle some rain (they needed to pause and then start after the rain) they finished everything in 2 days, including cleanup after. Sam and the installers were a pleasure to work with.

Great work by Sam and team putting siding on my garage. Fast and efficient work, great attention to detail, and Sam worked with me to make sure it was in my budget. I had contacted 3 companies to do a quote. 1 never showed up, 1 showed up but never sent me an estimate, and then there was Sam/AHI who had me an estimate within a couple hours of visiting. I appreciate that they respect their clients time.

We had our front entry replaced and trim repaired around our garage door and around an upper bay window. From estimate to completion AHI was great to work with. Everything turned out exactly how I had envisioned. We would use them again and again.

I had minor fascia repair that needed to be done. Absolute Home Improvements was timely, professional and reasonably priced. I had other quotes from a few different companies that were outrageously overpriced. They either didn't want to do it because it was a smaller job or felt they could take advantage because I am a female. I had a very small job of installing a roof vent for a range hood. I had no idea that so many places would turn down this job because it didn’t meet the minimum. I contacted Sam at Absolute Home Improvement, and he was happy to do the job for me. The timing was fast, and the crew that installed it was great! I had a large tree limb fall during a Friday night wind storm and poke a hole in my flat rubber roof over my garage and addition. We were expecting 2 inches of rain on Monday. I did not notice the hole until the limb was removed on Monday. Sam at Absolute came out on that Monday, in the pouring rain, and patched that roof! This is extraordinary service. He then came out when the insurance adjuster was here to make sure the adjuster knew the extent of the damage. I had Absolute replace the rubber roof soon after. From the first contact until receiving my invoice, communication was top notch! The roof is as beautiful as a rubber roof can be and the work was completed efficiently and well. I highly recommend Absolute Home Improvement.

Sam and his guys put in two new storm doors for us. They were prompt, courteous and did excellent work. We are very happy with the results. They are my "go-to" for everything exterior.

I have been very pleased with my experience with Absolute Home Improvements and owner, Sam Bickhart. I had hail damage in May, to my roof, siding, screens and gutters. Unlike the first company I hired, Sam worked with my insurance claim adjuster, identifying items that were initially missed, providing all necessary detail, resulting in a very expedient claim process. I signed his contract 7/15/24 and all the work was completed on 10/3, 10/4 and 10/7. His crews are very professional, and fast to respond.

Sam showed up when he said he would and made a great suggestion with replacing the aluminum fascia to all match. The guys who did the work were on time and respectful of our property. No mess to clean up just great work left behind. We will have them back to take care of any other improvements that we decide to make. We had one issue and Sam emailed me and addressed the issue in a timely manner.

The crew did a great job replacing our deck. They are hard workers. I highly recommend them.
10/15/23. Since my last review, we have had Sam's crew here numerous times for upgrades. We had them replace our gutters. We had them replace our front door entranceway with a beautiful leaded glass door. We then had them install new triple pane windows, and finally we had them install new insulated siding. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the workmanship. They truly do excellent work. AHI is truly a 6 star company as far as I'm concerned!
