I hired Above and Beyond for our mid century home exterior facelift. From the start to finish, they were professional and responsive. This was a significant investment and I was quite apprehensive. Even their competitors recommended them to do my project.

He was prompt in returning all calls and in arriving at appointed times, thorough in his inspection and provided an estimate that was “ball-park” with two other companies. My decision to go with A & B was based on reputation & experience/a recommendation from a satisfied customer/my neighbor, the submission of a clear, detailed, typed-out and concise written estimate, and Eric’s honest and straight-forward personality.
The work needed was substantial: New roof, soffits & facia (all needing replacement wood/carpentry) and gutters on a 3 story, 100 year-old irregularly shaped house and on a detached 2 car garage. All work was done in one week’s time, as was estimated. All crews were excellent: on time and very, very hardworking. Site manager, Steve, came by daily to check-in and address concerns, if and when needed.

A&B recently installed Hardy siding on our home. We requested quotes from 4 Hardy outfits. I made each modify their proposal so that all requirements were quoted in the same fashion - so we could compare "apples-to-apples". A&B wasn't the low-cost provider, but they were very responsive to our needs. We gave them the job. Couldn't be happier. They came in on budget, and a week early (despite doing the work in January). Excellent craftsmanship. Excellent communication.

From our initial dealings with the Sales Manager, throughout the weeks of renovation with the outstanding project team, as well as all of our consultations with the owner, we have been completely satisfied. Fast forward to April 2025, we again hired AAB to redo the facade of our tired looking cedar shakes. Eric and Steve, once again, did not disappoint. They provided excellent advice while helping us choose the right ProVia siding to update our home in addition to recessed panels on our bay windows and front doorway. Then, Luis and crew did an outstanding job of installing the siding and panels. Incredible workmanship!

Above and beyond replaced our leaking skylights. They are professional and thorough. They fixed the poorly-done roof around the skylights too. They also takes their time to carefully clean the nails in the yard. We have a very pleasant experience with them so far.

Above and Beyond came right out to check a leak we noticed in our attic. Eric arrived exactly at the time of my appointment, found the issue and made a temporary repair within the same appointment knowing that we had heavy rains coming that afternoon. He followed up with us same day to see if we were having any issues given the heavy rain and was quick to get a crew out to do the full repair on a separate day. While here, Eric also took the time to inspect the roof beyond just the spot where we found the leak to give me an overall roof health assessment. We haven’t had it looked at in years, so that was hugely helpful in our planning ahead and for some peace of mind for the time being.

Above and Beyond lives up their name. They came to do the siding of our house as we wanted something more modern than your typical vinyl house. So between Hardie and Nichiha materials we were able to create the house of our dreams while fixing any issues that occurred from the previous vinyl siding. It was amazing to see the finished result match the rendering so well. Harry, Joe, and Eric all provided excellent customer care and were all a pleasure to talk to. Call these guys first. I’m lucky a friend referred Above & Beyond to me. I spoke with three other contractors that all attempted to sell me on unnecessary repairs. I had a leak next to my chimney. One guy said I’d need a whole new chimney, one guy said a new roof, (my roof is 5 years old and he was obviously a clown)

Above And Beyond are the type of contractors you want to do business with. They came out, diagnosed the issue, explained it in a way I could easily understand, and solved the problem. Turns out I just needed some new flashing. I haven’t had a leak since and I’d highly recommend these guys.

As you can imagine, being a homeowner can get stressful at times! We have a unique situation where we live in a Townhouse (with an Homeowners Association) and we've been experiencing random leaks when it is raining hard and is super windy. As you can imagine, as homeowners we needed to figure out the root cause of the issue prior to us kicking it up to the HoA for next steps and unfortunately, not many vendors want to deal with our situation - which is understandable. From the vendor's perspective, they can come out to inspect, diagnose the problem, and provide a quote - but all that hard work usually doesn't lead to them winning the business. From the HoA's perspective, the homeowner needs to first determine the issue from a licensed professional with their diagnosis. So we were essentially in a chicken or the egg situation.

After calling numerous vendors, I was able to get Joe to come out this past Friday morning. Joe was very detailed in explaining what might be the cause, taking a look at the problem from different angles, etc to determine if the problem was indeed coming from within or from the outside. Joe even helped cut a section of the drywall (at the problematic spot) and took detailed pictures and explained what he believe was the issue and how to fix it. Joe went a step further and sent us the pictures with his notes on his findings. This was a wonderful experience and IF we can hire them to fix our issue, we will make sure to call them!

We got our siding done from them, and they were great in every little aspect of the job from design to quote - ex they priced fascia, rakes and frieze boards individually. They didn’t try to upsell anything and even refunded for things.

Eric and Harry worked extraordinarily hard to make sure every detail was matched to our very specific requests. I called 5 different companies about getting a roof issue fixed - Above and Beyond had the most thorough and fair approach from what I could tell. I called AAB about a leak in my roof and to get an estimate on a new roof. Eric answered the call and told me someone would be at my house at 10AM the next morning. Joe arrived promptly at 10 AM and fixed the leak in my roof before I committed to giving AAB the job. This is really commendable. Joe answered all of my questions and thoroughly explained the scope of the job.

AAB removed my old roof ( 2 layers) and replaced my roof and gutters. I am very satisfied with every aspect of the job.

Eric informed me about the job every step of the way including material/dumpster delivery and the date the job would begin and finish. The communications were excellent before during and after completion.

The workmanship is excellent.

The clean-up was very thorough and I did not find a single nail.

Above and Beyond was a referral from a friend who had used them in the past. I engaged them for roof replacement in Colonia, NJ. While I had much better pricing from other competing business my decisions were driven by other considerations as well. In summary, the work outcome I thought was good - which really depends on the competence of the key folks in the crew who are doing the work. The team which showed up seems to have done a good job as I have no leaks thus far from a couple of heavy rains since the install. Eric who represents the business was able to address my needs.

They not only worked within my budget, on a pay as I go plan but addressed some issues that was outside of the original scope of the project. I bought house right before the pandamic. Has been renovating since then..No any good luck until found this company to do my siding…. Finished whole house siding for 8 days as they promised… great quality…very happy with this projected.. I definitely would recommend anybody who I know. I can’t say enough good things about Above and Beyond. First of all, they responded very quickly when I called them in a panic about our leaking roof, and they came quickly to assess the roof and make a plan. Since our roof is complicated, they scheduled us at a time when the owner could personally supervise the project. The whole thing was done about two weeks after I first called them. The workers were careful and cleaned everything up. Also, months after the project was done, I contacted the owner because I was worried about something, and he came right away and made sure everything was in order. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Eric and his team came an installed a new front door. The team was great, they pay attention to detail and the quality of the job was top notch. - They reviewed all of our technical concerns that involved decision making, and always provided detailed, comprehensive reasons that narrowed down choices that involved safety, durability and aesthetics.
- They offered high quality roofing products at a fair price. I was very happy with installing durable 50-year roofing tiles with state of the art insulated tar paper underneath.
- Customer representatives communicated effectively and often over a few days. Customer service is important to this staff.
- Most of the job was performed in one day as a large crew attacked the house in removing old roofing and installing a beautiful, new layer. All of this work was performed during brutal winter weather conditions.
- After all of the construction was completed, employees did an admirable job cleaning up all excess materials and debris.
- I observed all crew members working very safely and efficiently as a team. Very impressive.

Overall, I am a very satisfied customer!

Offered a large selection of the best quality shingles. Only offered replacement of old shingles not covering over old ones. Sent a full professional crew for the installation. Worked fast and efficiently. They were responsive to requests and were very polite. Finished in 1 day except for gutter replacement. A different crew covered this a week later. They also were professional and finished same day. Very satisfied with results. Would use them again and would recommend them highly.

We just had our roof replaced by Above & Beyond and are very happy with the result. Joe looked at our roof and gave us a price on the spot. Eric followed up with a phone call to set up a start date. The crew came on time on the appointed date. They worked tirelessly on a very hot day and finished the job in about 12 hours. The workmanship and communication were excellent. Superb, Professional, & Amazing!!! I cannot recommend Eric and Above and Beyond enough! I phoned them on Monday night thinking I would leave a message, hoping to make an appointment for them to come and give an estimate for a roof repair at my mother's house. Eric responded immediately that night and told me he could be there first thing the next morning to take a look and give me a proposal. My husband and I searched for a reputable company for our siding project. We searched the internet and met with several companies. We met Joe the salesperson for Above and Beyond and found him to be honest and caring. We had several changes regarding color and style. Joe was very patient and understanding. After we made our final decision and the order was placed, Eric’s team of professionals arrived and did a fantastic job. The work on the house was more then we expected. We had some punch list items that needed to be addressed and Eric was very responsive and they were addressed. There are two words to describe Above and Beyond “caring and professional “. They did an outstanding job!

We called and made an appointment for a quote on a Thursday. They came Saturday to check out roof and gutters. Gave us the quote on Sunday. Monday we signed the contract and sent it back and 3 hours later the guy came and did our gutters (we replaced our seamless gutters that were damaged by a tree branch). Wednesday the roof guys came and patched up a few shingles that had come off (probably due to tree branch). They were fast and listened to our concerns! Less than a week for all the work to get done. Would use again and would recommend!

They were hired by my solar company to replace my roof. The roof was completed months after the initial order. Completion date was Mid December 2019. The interior damage was completed March 12, 2020. In the next few days the Virus caused a shut down of the State. You can imagine how happy we were to have our roof completed. The end of March came and our brand new roof was leaking. Now here are 2 Seniors living in their home because we’re told it’s not safe outside and we are in our home now leaking where it may not have been safe. Eric finally came down to inspect out roof and told us it was the worse job he had ever seen and couldn’t believe his crew did this. Fast forward to completion of 2nd new roof was Oct 2020!!! We asked for consideration for having to live this nightmare and never even got a response. Really got treated bad by Above and Beyond Roofing because for us they didn’t go above and beyond.

This company called me within a day and came to inspect the roof and provide and estimate within a week of our first contact. The roof was replaced the next week. The workers installed the roof quickly and left my yard cleaner than when they started. I was very happy with the customer service and the entire work experience.
