I had the best experience ever. My particular tree was alongside my house and hanging over my roof so most would not undertake removal and the only way to get my roof repaired was for tree to come down. They explained in detail what they were going to do, cost and no problem finished and very pleased. I would recommend them without hesitation

Be sure the work is finished before you pay, because he will not come back unless he's changed his ways since he worked for me in October 2011. I had to leave and paid him before I left because he did know what he was doing around the trees and I used to trust people. Returned to find hugely unmovable logs around the yard (some are still where he left them), and what was cut, was not stacked as agreed. He was to come back in November over Thanksgiving break, but didn't have a crew (one man), so I agreed to wait for Winter Break (in school, he was booked weekends). Called first day of break and many times for the next two weeks. He finally responded after the New Year and said he'd do the work when he took down another tree. I did not have him take down the tree (his bid was $300 higher than another company that removed the debris) and he never finished the job. He also broke one of my tools, dropped a line he didn't replace, and dropped limb on an old structure covering a septic drop. Nothing correct. He left a fat climbing rope and some other tool behind.

Check to see that he's insured, too. He does know about trees, but integrity is questionable. The knowledge is what he gets 3 stars for.
