Jeff and his crew were recommended by my insurance company. My experience was fantastic with A1. Within 2 1/2 hours of my first phone call I had 14 fans and one dehumidifier set up in my house. Thankfully, they were on site removing trim and found a previous company had put a trim nail through my waterline. Seven days later, my house was back to normal. I highly recommend.

We found A1 Quality after our basement flooded and saw they were an approved contractor through State Farm. Jeff and his crew responded quickly to mitigate the water damage. Jeff was hands-on throughout the entire process and made sure the job was done right.

We were so impressed with the mitigation work that we hired A1 for the full rebuild. Jeff’s drywall, flooring, and painting crews were professional, efficient, and did excellent work. Our basement looks better than ever, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

It started off very well. They took everything apart and made it seem like I would be taken care of. Then 5 weeks of everything torn down and dismantled in a very functional space, they never came back. Jeff required me to give him access to my home without us being present, which I would not do, especially with young children. Scheduled days for them to come complete the work and 3 weeks in a row never showed up on the scheduled days that Jeff made. Then, never called to say they were not coming, had to call him myself to see what was happening only to find out they were not showing up. Took time off of work to accommodate, but made it seem like it was my fault that I wouldn't give them access to my home when we were not there. Worst experience I have ever had with home restoration. Filed many complaints with BBB and insurance, which seems to have been taken seriously. Talks a big game but does not deliver. Jeff is a snake and do not trust him.

We had A1 Quality come to our house when we discovered we had a problem with mold in the kitchen. Jeff came out right away and did an assessment for us. Our problem was caused by the dishwasher, and sure enough, we had mold under our kitchen cabinets and it had seeped into the carpet on the other side of the wall. I was aghast at having mold in my home! But Jeff handled everything for us. He told me to contact our insurance company to see if we were covered, and went to work right away. He and his team went to work and got rid of the mold and restored our home. They are a full service company, Jeff had a carpenter, general handyman and painter, cabinet rebuilder, carpet cleaner, and plumber he called on so I didn’t have to find these folks on my own. Not only did they do excellent work, they were calm and friendly, knew what to do and how to do it. They made what was an extremely stressful situation much easier for us to handle. They respected our home and worked with us on scheduling so everything was done as quickly as possible. I highly recommend A1 Quality for anyone who has a need for home restoration.

Jeff came before daylight on September 5th to limit the water damage from my flooded basement. Which damaged several rooms. I Had a water leak upstairs that soaked the ceiling and walls. We had no idea what to do. Jeff with A1 was the only company which we contacted that could come out the same day. Jeff took a look at the damage, said gets some fans on it immediately. We talked thur a few scenarios of what might happen. Instead of taking my money and offering services that I didn't need, Jeff gave me his honest opinion and told me that I should be OK. If mold happened to show up in the future we would handle it then. It speaks volumes about a company when there honest with you and not just out to take your money.

Jeff and Ian did an excellent job at a home recently purchased that had not been occupied for more than 15 years. They did a bathroom and kitchen tear out as well as joist replacemant and other strucutual wood replacement, replaced sections of floor that had been water damaged and finally treated the home for mold remediation. Jeff provided exceptional mold remediation service! I recently had been very sick for the past year and upon my release from the hospital, we found mold in our basement. I called Jeff and within the same day had an appointment scheduled for him to come out later that week to sample and inspect our mold. He arrived early to our appointment and took samples to send to a lab to let us know what kind of mold we were dealing with. He sent me a thorough report and called me as soon as my results came in. At no point did Jeff make me feel scared to live in my own home and calmed every fear I had about our mold situation. Within 2 weeks Jeff and Ian came out and cleaned our basement and house for mold. I am buying a property in the Louisville market and I live out of state. I needed an inspection done - and on my behalf, not someone else's interests. Jeff responded immediately to my request for a quote for mold removal. We were able to meet the same day! He arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment. I was told by a roofing company I had a “severe mold issue in the attic”. As soon as Jeff looked in my attic, he informed me I did not have any mold...it was concrete dust! He even checked in my basement and showed me how the boards had been used to form the foundation of my basement. What a relief! When I asked what I owed him, he said nothing! Rude. Don’t think he really knows what he’s looking for. Instead of listing things he didn’t inspect as NI (not inspected) he just went with M (marginal). Listed flooring as marginal because of dirt. Listed asphalt driveway as marginal with no reasoning behind it. The list of things he got wrong is too long to type. Did I mention extremely rude.

I cannot say enough about Jeff and his crew. It all started 3 years ago when I, a single mom with an 8 year old daughter, rented a home where I smelled mold after being there for a couple weeks. I was referred to Jeff by a Realtor friend of mine. He came out and as soon as he got out of his van he smelled the mold. He didn’t even have to walk inside and knew there was mold.

He came in and could not believe that someone would rent the home in the condition that it was in. He went under the house and took photos. He did testing and when the tests came back, not only did he send me the results he called me. He was on the way to the lake with his family when I was able to call him back, but he wanted to make sure he went over the results with me to let me know the severity of the issues.

Forward on to 3 years later and my nose can smell mold from a mile away.... I could smell it in my moms home. I called Jeff and he came out. Again he went above and beyond. Not only did he take care of the mold... which is amazing!!! But he found a leak in my mom’s toilet that was leaking under her house, he worked with her insurance company to try to get the work covered under insurance. They cleaned out her closets, they helped her get things back together.

Apparently over the 30+ years anytime someone has done work under my parents’ home they have left any trash, pipes, discarded material under their house. Bags and bags and bags of it. (See the photo) This was not their job to get this out of there for my mom. They did not have to acknowledge that it was even there, she would have never known. They cleaned all of this, and even wrapped one of her ducts that needed it (that she has paid multiple others to do, that they apparently haven’t done before).

I would recommend A1 to everyone I could. They are amazing!!

Quality Home gave us quick response to our call to discuss the problem in our home and crawl space. They found mold, holes in our furnace pipes, broken floor beams and replaced our old moisture barrier. They worked many days and kept an air filtration going to entire time. They also did a cleaning of the air that displaced us for 24 hours, but gave us peace of mind that the house was clear of all mold. All was done for a very reasonable amount. Thanks to Jeff and company for all they did.

I am in the process of purchasing a brand new home. Called Jeff at A1 quality and asked him to come in and inspect my new house. I recently bought a house with some mold in the kitchen. They performed a test to determine what kind of mold there was, and explained how to treat it. They were very quick with the mold remediation and happy to answer all questions that I had. Highly recommend.

Jeff was the most down to earth person to work with and put things into terms that were easy to digest, the price was reasonable, the work was fast and the dedication to the job was unmatched. I would wholly recommend this company to anyone who needs it.

We contacted A1 Quality for an inspection, and they scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Our home was thoroughly checked, and it was discovered that a skylight had a small crack that was allowing water to keep the ceiling damp. Additionally, an unpleasant odor was coming through our vents; it was discovered that the crawl space was completely covered in mold due to a broken water pipe the previous owner had installed, and had been slowly leaking. Not only was mold growing everywhere, but two beams had significant damage from rot, and needed replacing. Jeff took pictures of everything he found and explained the process of mold removal. He gave us a written estimate the following day, and advice on how to address the damage to the floor beams. The crew put in a lot of effort and time, removing the mold by scrubbing by hand every inch of the crawl space using the appropriate mold remover, while wearing hazmat suits. They put down a new barrier to protect the crawl space when done. It looked brand new! The owner (Jeff) left his equipment with us, in order to thoroughly remove any and all residual spores or airborne particles in our house after the job was complete. I had compared estimates for mold removal prior to hiring A1 Quality, and found the costs very comparable; however, I am certain we could not have found better service or a more honest business. I HIGHLY recommend this business and it’s owner, Jeff Branham.

Had a 12 by 22 sun room with some mold on the furniture. After finishing found mold still on some spots. The floor was covered in black foot prints. Did not touch the windows that had a film of something on them. Only ran the O zone treatment for 1 hour, the contract said 2 hours. I feel like for 800.00 I should have a clean room.

Caused damage, broke things, charged extra for using a credit card and wasted over $650 of insulation. Told me after they don't save it but told him before they started work not to waste it. Would have done myself if I knew. Did not compensate me for anything. Horrible person.

I can't say enough good things about Jeff and A1Quality Home Inspection! We were at our wit's end! My wife was sick. Then my eight-month-old son got sick. His pediatrician said all signs pointed to some type of indoor allergen. We had both the carpet and the air ducts cleaned. Yet neither of them got any better. And our landlord was adamant that the crawl space was in perfect condition. A friend encouraged us to contact a professional home inspector for a second opinion.

We called A1 Quality Home Inspection and explained our circumstances to Jeff. Less than twenty-four hours later, Jeff was at our house performing a thorough inspection of the entire property. He explained not only what he was doing, but why he was doing it. So we were well informed throughout the entire process: inspection/sampling/assessment and then the official results from the microbiology lab, which arrived two days later. The lab report confirmed Jeff's initial assessment: (1) there was indeed toxic mold in the crawlspace due to faulty plumbing, (2) there was also mold in the insulated flexible duct work, and (3) the HVAC system was pumping air contaminated with toxic mold from the crawl space throughout the entire house.

We also called A1 Quality Home Inspection two-weeks later for Jeff to inspect a rental property for us before we signed a lease. With the first inspection, Jeff helped us to identify the cause of an unhealthy environment. With the second inspection, Jeff helped us to avoid another unhealthy environment. As I said at the beginning, I can't say enough good things about the overall level of service we received from A1 Quality Home Inspection.
