I was having issues with water coming into my insurance office and A to Z gave me a great quote to fix my problem. They worked well with the city to get the proper permits and got my job done quickly and efficiently as well being very professional. They even went above and beyond and fixed a small problem I had with a fence by the job. Highly recommend for any waterproofing needs! Thank you!

So they braced my basement walls and put in another drain. They kept the area very clean despite drilling in the floor. They were mopping several times and using a shop vac while drilling to ensure little dust was spread through the home. They finished on time as well. I am so grateful for them!! Price was comparable to others I had gotten quotes from, and reasonable.

I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and professionalism A to Z completed at our home. The egress window surround in our newer constructed home was installed incorrectly from the start, and it begin caving in. From the moment I contacted Zach, communication was always quick and clear. Foreman Tad, and his crew made quick, and efficient work installing the new, correct egress window surround. Not to mention the extreme care working around our sprinkler heads, assuring the care and quality of their work. There is not another company I would ever go with for any foundation needs, period. When you are doing major renovations you are always concerned about quality and price. AZ exceeded my expectations. Everything was well explained, my options were laid out and the prices were very fair. These folks really do care about quality of craftsmanship. They paid attention to the details and always worked toward the goal of making sure I was happy. They always keep their work areas tidy which I appreciated as I’m living with the construction. With such short notice we had a leak in the basement; We were given the referral to A to Z Contracting. Jeff came out did a estimate got the paperwork started, Zach then reached out gave us the start and finish times. Zach's crew did a awesome job. We were still on schedule to sell our house with a guarantee transfer to new owner.

A to Z delivered and outperformed my expectations – they were quick, efficient, and very professional in every aspect of the process. I originally was looking for a French drain solution, and following the professional consultation, we settled on an exterior waterproofing along a lowlying side of my home.

Full Review:
I bought my home just over a year ago and found many streams of water following snow melt/big storms on the finished wall of my basement, with some water coming from below. I met with Jeff for an estimate, and we walked the basement and exterior of the property. He was very knowledgeable on the causes and solutions to my issue. We ended up settling on an exterior waterproof where excavations would be dug to my footers, draintile cleaned/repaired, and backfilled with clean stone to grade with a decorative stone on top.

Zach was the project manager who reached out to me to schedule the work and maintained great communication throughout the project on status updates and inquiries with what I needed as a client. He provided additional estimation to replace the remainder of my landscape beds with decorative stone (was originally mulch) to match the new bed going in. I was surprised, and happy, that they offered to include the front yard beds as well, and I was left with a happy experience all said and done.

Tad (foreman) and his crew were very quick and professional. They took all the measures that they could to protect my yard outside of the project limits. They pretty much completed the job in 3 days (the extra day was from me asking for the remaining landscape beds to also be worked on) and this was much quicker than I ever expected. Their work passed the inspection on the first site visit, which is not the easiest thing to do unless you know what you are doing. The crew even brought my trash cans up from the curb on trash day which is just the cherry on top of their goals with providing the best service they can to their clients.

We have had a small rainstorm since the work was completed and there is no water in the basement so far! If you do not see an update at the end of this review, then you will know that I am not having any issues! Their work is protected by a very nice warranty (I believe off hand was 25-years). So again, I would recommend you reach out to A to Z for any waterproofing needs, as I will definitely do so to anyone who asks.

We hired A to Z contracting to waterproof our basement wall. Zach and his crew got the job done in a timely manner. They did a great job restoring the landscape to its original form. You can’t even tell anything was done. His crew was polite and professional. We would hire them again in a minute.

Absolutely thrilled with the work I had done by A to Z Contracting. I had them completely remove my crumbling front porch and build a new one. I was new to the area, so finding a contractor was a concern for me. No more concerns, I made the right choice. Every bit of the experience with A to Z was great, from estimate to finished product. Wow what a wonderful company to do business with!! From Zach who came out to give us a quote to the 4 person crew, they were all awesome!! The crew was hard working and meticulous in their work. They did a great job on the foundation at my dad's house! Zach worked with me when I wanted to make a change in the original plan. Nice group of people to work with. Would recommend this company in a heartbeat!!

Owner caused unnecessary grief, speaking of things beyond the scope of the job he was hired to quote and outside his area of knowledge. Business owner insisted my property had mold and asbestos. Although, he did not provide any lab data confirming existence of mold or asbestos. I was simply interested in a quote to stop a leak in a basement wall, which he failed to deliver after promising two times to provide the next day. Finally, the owner was belligerent and rude, literally yelling at me over the phone. I'm instead completing the job with a reputable company at a much lower price than A to Z alluded that they would charge. Steer clear of this company.

Update: owner claims in their response below that my tenant reached out to them. FALSE! I asked A to Z to contact my tenant. See text message image attached to this review! This brings up another flaw of this business and business owner. He does not know what is going on with his business, nor even up from down. We discussed over and over again the same topics. When will I get a quote...the date that he actually visited the property for a quote...what would need to be done to complete the job. The guy was clueless. Owner also claims in their reply below that he was promptly replying to my request for quote. Again, FALSE. See second attached text message exchange. I repeatedly asked him for the quote, but only one time per day, when every day he promised a quote the following day.

Regarding the owner's reply about the asbestos...NOBODY knows asbestos by simply looking at it. It must be tested in a lab. Google that. Find someone knowledgeable to complete your job, not these amateurs who do a lot of talking without action.

Update: independent testing CONFIRMED that home did not have harmful mold!

Seeing the work Zach and company have done has allowed me peace of mind. From deconstruction to reconstruction this company is on point. They keep you informed along the way, are reliable, responsive and the best part - economical!

I highly recommended this company. They installed an egress window for me and did a great job. Put everything back together at the end and did what they promised on time.

Not a good review for this company. We had to cancel the job before it even started and needed our $2300 deposit back for a hospital bill. Jeff promised to return our money from the very beginning but dragged it out for 8 months with countless excuses but continued to say we would get our money back. After speaking weekly he has ghost us. Where is this company’s integrity. What about DOING THE RIGHT THING Jeff and keeping your word. That $2300 is a lot of money in your pocket for doing NOTHING

That would be great information Jeff if you had said that in the very beginning instead of dragging it out for 8 months (why did you do that if it was against company policy) doesn’t made sense when you gave your word. And an Honorable man stands behind his word. The check was made out to you personally and not the company so I think company policy is not in effect here but doing the right thing is. And as far as material is concerned I believe you will be charging the next customer for the same material and that is double dipping. If you can live with that decision and sleep well so be it. I hope other people will see what a company of 29 years treats their customers and not put down a big deposit when LIFE can happen and not get their money back. Again….that $2300 is a lot of money for doing NOTHING

A to Z really are experts when it comes to foundations and waterproofing. They were able to fix multiple cracks in my foundation that to led to a wet basement every time it rained in a matter of days. Jeff and Zack communicate very well and clearly explain everything that the project entails. The A to Z crew is great too.

A to Z Contracting Inc did a great job on the waterproofing of my basement! After digging around my basement, they completed the project as promised. Afterwards, the yard was put back nicely and looks great. I would recommend this company.

We called A to Z for an estimate, Jeff came out and after inspecting our situation he assured us they could fix our problem. After getting 2 more estimates we felt the most confident hiring A to Z.

Bought a new home and the basement flooded soon after. Called Jeff to come give an estimate and he was great. Very friendly and easy to talk with. Once Zach and the crew got here they moved fast, answered all questions we had and did everything they said they would. They checked everything countless times to make sure things would work as expected and tested thoroughly to see things through. Zach even came back after work was complete to help with unrelated plumbing issues. I enjoyed having these guys at my home, and would recommend them to anyone. We’ve had several heavy rains and our basement has stayed perfectly dry.

I needed a contractor to repair a basement wall from the outside. I read reviews online and liked the consistent positive ratings from their customers. When I called I received an immediate response and next day appointment for quote. Their communication style is direct, informative and very friendly. They came every day until the work was completed, and treated my property with respect. The job was complicated, involving the removal and replacement of pavers and brick based steps abutting an inground pool. Their re-build was better done than the original placement. I now consider them a permanent member of my home maintenance team.

Jeff was very through in explaining the process of waterproofing our quad level home’s foundation. Zach and his crew did an excellent job! They dug up an entire 48ft side of my home, waterproofed, and put everything back as was. Landscaping and fence look like they had never been there. Highly recommend this company.

They did a really nice job of water sealing a section of my basement. Competitively priced and very professional. It took awhile from when I first met with them and gave a deposit until when they showed up to do the job (probably a testament to doing good work) but once they got going they were very efficient and did exactly what was quoted. Definitely recommend them!

The crew of A to Z waterproofed our basement wall. They were prompt, efficient, courteous, and all were hard working. They cleaned up each day and then left our site a little cleaner than when they started. They were respectful of our yard and our neighbors drive way which they used to hand dig out our wall. All completed in 2 1/1 days.

Very professional company. The owner, Jeff, came out to give me a quote within 1 day of calling. The work was completed in 3 days as promised. They were careful to not harm the grass or any landscape and cleaned up every evening.

Got a quote almost instantly. Jeff is very attentive & professional. The crew is quick & clean up as if they were never there. Definitely will use them for anything else I may need done.

"We had a problem with water filling our backyard and coming over the foundation of the house into the basement. For years we used a pool pump everytime there was a heavy rain and pumped it into the street. As we are getting older, we contacted A to Z. Jeff (the owner) said the solution was a simple fix, only $750. After coming out to check he said we also needed a French drain and the wall of our basement waterproofed. $2,000 later and no relief. After 2 months of going back and forth, setting appointments and not showing he finally sent his son to put in another French drain. Still no relief! Four more months of unprofessional and irresponsible conduct, we finally asked for a partial refund for work not done. (As the basement was not waterproofed by them but we were charged).
So, unless you're willing to take the risk of being overcharged, cheated and lied to, stay away from this company!!"
