A Better Quality Roofing

Horrible company. Like others have said, they show up for the checks. Late Dec 2024, they wanted 1/2 for the roof materials. They took money out of my account electronically, even though i wrote them a check. I have a flat roof, so has to be above 50 degrees for the glue to work. End Feb 2025, I finally meet Sam Ingracia who wants check made out in his name, not company, to which I told him they took money out already. Trying to make a long story short. They took my whole insurance check which was for new roof, downspout, and some minor ceiling water damage (which i found out end Apr from my ins co) but it all went toward the roof. Insurance said I got ripped off basically. On 8 Mar, I got a text from Sam saying he ordered roof materials and to let him know when they arrived. He lied, they never showed, he never ordered materials. On 14 Mar, we had that bad storm. A corner of my roof lifted and I have $4,900 rain damage in my kitchen and bedroom ceilings. There was not even a tarp put on my roof. I called Sam 16 Mar and he said he was in his office ordering my materials, which arrived 2 days later and roof done next day. I told him what happened about storm and all he said was to call my ins co, he didn't care at all. I told him he should have put a tarp on the roof when he knew a storm was coming. He said who knew there'd be hurricane force winds. Are you kidding? You're a roof contractor, you keep up with the weather! My new ceiling damage was denied by ins because they said part of that check was for ceiling which never got repaired. I told ins that QR used the whole check for roof. I'm so angry.

Have had the same experience as Tim down ther horrible communication started this process aug of 2024 and im now in March of 2025...say that things will be done they are not but you can be sure when it is time to pick up a check some can be free to come get it....has been a horrible experience amd I would not recommend this company to anyone....

Joe Thuo a representative from “A better quality roofing” was extremely helpful in the process of getting us an appointment to have a roof inspection done for free. The representative Joe and other workers that were sent along were the most helpful and knowledgeable set of workers who have come by and given us an inspection. I appreciated how straight forward and up front they were with what repairs may need to be done and look forward to doing business with them in the future.
