I know A-1 Hedrick roofing to be good roofers by reputation and good men from personal experience. I am on the board for a Non-profit in St Charles County. We discovered water damage on a wall in one of our facilities so we had Jason at ServoPro assess the problem. Jason was very helpful and as part of his assessment recommended A-1 Roofing to look at our roof. While scheduling the meeting I discovered they are located in Pacific. I felt bad about their driving so far for what would be a small job. Shawn said he was more than happy to drive over to see what he could do help. We found both Shawn and Jamie to be very friendly and personable. They quickly found and caulked a hole we had not seen. They also inspected the entire roof, caulked several other areas, and coached us on preventative maintenance we could perform to reduce potential problems with our flat roof. The real surprise was they refused payment stating they were glad to be of assistance and appreciated the work we do for the community.

Shawn and his team did a fantastic job on our roof. If you want a quality, family owned business to replace your roof, these are your guys!

Shawn Hedrick is very knowledgeable about roofing. We had issues with a leak on our roof and he understood immediately about applying water and ice shield that goes on under the shingles to eliminate any chance of that happening again. We had the old roof removed and the architectural shingles that he put on the roof look excellent and a lot more durable than the basic shingles. We have had many complements on our new roof. I would recommend his company to all.

Shawn provided professional, prompt estimate and did a great job with roof install. Several years later had a small leak. Shawn was out the next day to locate the problem and repair. He stands behind his work. Also did great job installing replacement skylight.

I have been in the building material industry for 40 years and when it came time to replace our condo roof in STL we called only one company and that was A-1. We went with Shawn and his guys because they are Shawn's guys and include his family on the roof banging nails. Clean up was great, working with 24 owner residents was great, protected our landscaping, and clean up in our neighborhood in St. Louis Hills was an extreme must to have. If you don't use A-1, you didn't pick the best company you could.

We used Shawn's company to replace our damaged roof and was so very pleased from start to finish. Shawn made the process so easy and he knew how to communicate with our insurance as well. Our neighbors complemented us on how good the roof looks and we love it too. Not only was Shawn and his team fast, but they were on time, considerate, and very clean. They made dang sure there weren't any nails laying around for my puppies to step on. Each person we have referred were just as pleased!

Great company from start to finish! They were very fast to respond, they showed up on time and finished quickly. But probably the best aspects are that they made sure to triple check to make sure everything was cleaned up (not even a nail found on the ground afterwards), and the roof looks amazing! And of course no issues at all. It's been a couple years now, and it still looks and functions great! Would recommend!!!

Shawn and his crew are amazing to work with! Very professional and listened to all my concerns. I had a whole new roof put on my home and detached garage and not one nail was found! The job site was left immaculate and he went above and beyond to make sure my skylights and chimney were wrapped perfectly! These guys are professional roofers. From the quote to the invoice they have kept me informed and updated throughout the entire job (x6 roofs).
Whenever I had a question it was always answered with a well informed explanation. If I asked for service after the job it was always preformed quickly and economically.

This company did an awesome job on our roof. Shawn (the owner) took care of all the details and totally took all the stress off of us. They had the roof done in one day and had everything cleaned up. Guys were all very nice and considerate. Would highly recommend this company.

1st off they never removed the tar paper to inspect the decking, and I have discovered a soft spot since I have to go up on roof about 10 times to fix the leaking chimney unsuccessfully ended up remodeling a bedroom and have mold in ceiling area of chimney, never called them because I was so unhappy with their services its only a 4 year old roof also destroyed the gutters

I had a tree fall on my house and land partially land on my roof. A-1 was called and was here in less than 30 minutes to put a tarp on as we had to wait for insurance before anything could be done. Shawn HENDRICK spoke directly to insurance adjuster and they both agreed I needed a complete new roof. Awesome job and awesome crew.
