Two weeks ago I had a leaking issue problem from my roof, so I find this company and I paid 500 dollars for the repair problem but they didn’t fixed the leaking problem and I tried to call them but no matter what I call , all the calls went straight to the voicemail and text them but no one response at all, I call the another roofing company to come over to take a look. this is the video and pictures they took it today to show me the evidences about this company took my money and did not did they job to fix the problem and issue. Don’t you feel embarrassed about deceiving consumers like this?

Needed a repair on some fascia
called James from 4 Square and he responded quickly and had one of his crew come on out to look at the job. I needed the color to match and was told no problem. They scheduled to arrive in a couple of days and they did. Did a Great job at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend them for honest and professional work.

Of course, everyone gets a bit nervous considering paying for a bunch of guys to climb around and replace the roof of your home. So, you’ll be happy to know that the crew from 4-Square were on time, polite, answered all our questions, tore off the old shingles, old plywood, replaced the whole roof with new plywood and shingles, added a new vent cap system for correct air flow, and meticulously cleaned up everywhere, all in one full day + 2 hours the following day. After the crew had completed the job, the owner came by to ensure we were 100% satisfied with everything. This kind of service is rare these days and we’re so glad we went with these guys.

Best experience ever! James (the owner) was so nice and very professional. We had a schedule conflict with tree trimmers coming out the same week and he worked with us and got the job done immediately after they finished trimming the trees. His crew was amazing also. Got here at 6:30 in the morning and was finished by 2:30 that afternoon. They put gigantic tarps around the house to catch all the debris and nails and thoroughly cleaned up before they left. James came out on very short notice to fix a water leak on the roof after the harsh freeze this winter. His crew quickly fixed the issue on the spot and saved me from major headaches!

They assessed the damage 1 day after calling, showed up the same week to complete the work. They were courteous, on time, and did excellent work. The price was fair and the same person who assessed the work was on site at completion. I had called other companies and 4 square provided the best customer service and the best pricing!

4 Square Roofing replaced our entire roof (a $35,000 job).

Several months later, we had a major leak that ruined our living room ceiling. James was out of town and promised to come by early the next week. He did not show up as he promised; he did not contact us; and he did not respond to several calls or texts.

I had to call another roofing company for the repair; they said that the ridge cap nails on one side were not sunk into wood; the ridge cap blew up and water poured right in. So we are stuck with the roof repair bill and the cost of repairing our living room ceiling.

We also have a section of roof where water is pouring between the gutter and the fascia board instead of going into the gutter. We will have to have someone repair that also.

I am very afraid of what other problems we are going to run into over time due to this poor quality work. (I will update this review if new problems arise.)

4 Square Roofing Company is and AMAZING Company!! I have worked with them since end of June 2023, We got our claim reopened to do a re-inspection in July . We finally got approved to get a new roof in September 2023. Thanks to James he told me that we a legal right to reopen the claim to have a re-inspection done. We finally got approved for a new roof. We are pleased with the work that they did. The roof looks AMAZING!! I would refer this company to anyone in need of a roof.

Did a full roof shingle tear off and replacement on my home after the 4/3/2023 storm. They did not install the shingles per manufacturer installation instructions resulting in voiding manufacture warranty. Installers broke several decking boards and did not replace them before covering with shingles. I viewed them in my attic. I called James Hamilton and sent him pictures of the broken boards. He said he was not replacing them and I can take him to court. Then he hung up on me.

Amazing experience, one of the best interactions I’ve had with a roofing company. Quick, honest and easy interactions, good value and held strong on promises. Will be returning here for all roofing needs. Highly recommend for anyone needing repairs or a replacement.

Absolutely horrible experience. I had them come by and fix a leak in my roof in February of 2021. It held for about 3-4 months and started leaking again. So, in August or September of 2021, I called back to ask that they would take another look at it. James said he would give me a call back to set up a time to come out. 2 weeks later, he hadn't called, so I called back again, and he said the same thing. 2-3 months later, over the holidays, no call back. So I called back again, and he said the same thing. Another month goes by, no call, so I call AGAIN, and this time, he says he will come to my house the next day to take another look. Surprise, surprise, he didn't come. I call him a couple days later, and now he just doesn't answer. I leave a voicemail, wait about two weeks, no callback. I call and leave another voicemail, wait about two weeks, no callback. I've given up on this crapshow of a company. I'm going to have to eat the cost for the bad job that they did and go to a different company to get a real repair because now they've just completely ghosted me.

In the midst of a very busy roofing season, I experienced a leak that caused some internal damage in my master bath. James Hamilton broke into his busy schedule to do a repair and prevent any further damage. He worked till 8PM, because rain was on the way. I would recommend his company to anyone looking for a referral.

James and his partner Perry came out promptly and assessed my situation and offered two options. One fixed my leak, the other repaired damage. Both estimates were very reasonable. They came back the next day and completed the job for less than I had been quoted to just inspect and give a quote! My only complaint is they can not seem to arrive on time at all. Averaged two hours or more late.

Update 8/14 - Everything I boasted about above was premature on my part. They were supposed to take out a makeup air vent on the back of my home and forgot. They came back out to remove the vent and luckily my wife was home to call me and say they are taking our "CHIMNEY" out!!! When I arrived, I witnessed two Hispanic men shaking my chimney (10"-12" b-vent) back and forth in an attempt to remove it along with shingles and flashing removed around chimney. Long story short is that they broke something with the venting that has caused a leak inside my home above fireplace. I have tried to work with James but he keeps stalling telling me he doesn't know what to do other than put silicone at various places to no avail. My problem is this - I didn't have a leak prior to this roof installation or attempting to remove my chimney and now I do. Poor communication from leadership to workers I believe is what lead up to this and 4 square is running from a problem they caused. So, I am hiring a chimney contractor to resolve as mold is becoming apparent and will send the bill to 4 square. Let's see if they honor what I said above in my first review.
