2FL Windows & Siding

I used 2FL to replace the older sidings and windows trim in the back of my house because I had some windows that leaked. I picked this company as I saw a mother neighbor on my street that used them.
I thought that 2FL did a fine job. But then when the winter and heavy rains came , same 2 windows started to leak. I called, email and text my sales person, the project manager and the owner number of times. They finally came to take a visual look, but they never assumed responsibility and after many back and force they asked for additional payment to repair the leak that should have been fixed when i first hired 2FL. I was upset with 2FL and I ended up hiring another company that ripped apart some of the work that 2FL did and fixed the leak. So now my problem is resolved, but i had to pay twice.
2FL is not a company that seems to care about their reputation or their customers. I would advise you to look somewhere else.

2FL installed all new Hardie plank siding, Hardie trim, and painted the exterior of our house. Everyone we interacted with was professional and we are happy with how the installation went. It was clear the crews cared about the finished product. Aaron, the project manager, provided great customer service and was flexible with a few scope changes during the project.

2FL did an amazing job on our windows and siding. The crew was very professional and brought a lot of fun energy to our home while doing the installation, I could tell they took a lot of pride and joy in what they did. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

As a first time home buyer it was very challenging and anxious getting a skylight installing done with no knowledge . But the customer service at this place was top notch and guided us through the whole process answering every question we had, they made the process so stress free.

Well where do I start? Had windows replaced a year ago and still do not
have the screen door. Have been told several times that it would be
taken care of but I was only told this after repeated requests for an update as to what is happening. No one from 2FL has contacted me with an update without me making several requests for an update. I managed an office for 35 years and am finding it almost unbelievable that there is no follow up by the company at all. Not once (?). Contacted the manufacturer as to the screen door and was told that the request has to come from the installer. Sent a final email today requesting a call to discuss.
Update: I did finally receive my screen door. All work done was fine with no issue with quality of work performed. Only issue was communication.

The 2FL team was on time and professional. I only had to replace the south side of my house's siding; yet, this was a considerable job (2 stories - 60ft) The guys putting up my siding realized there was an error in the siding size (the reveal was not the same). After putting up 4 rows (60 ft in length) they removed it and waited for the correct product to be delivered. I would not have noticed until it was done. I would HIGHLY recommend Kosal and his team to do the work.

We had them replace our siding with vinyl--the product looks great, and we get compliments--it doesn't look like vinyl but we never have to paint again! (Job was done in 2015)They did a pretty good job, and we are happy with it. we called them back in a couple years to fix a couple things, and they came out. There is one piece I found they could have overlapped a tad more, but it is under the front porch and water won't get it so I'm ok with it. For a contractor, and as picky as we are, this is a positive review. would recommend them.

2FL redid the entire exterior of my house a few years ago. They got in and did the work with no delays. I really like the work they did. 2-3 years later everything still looks great with no apparent problems or defects. This doesn't sound like a glowing review, but that's on me. They did a great job. Replaced my siding, gutters, windows, doors, and painted the house. Very pleased!

Customer service, im curious if this company even knows what quality customer service is? People have things come up in their lives that are unforseen. I had called to reschedule my appointment because of some health problems which I do not need to disclose and as a "professional" you could have just left it at that. But instead I get complete attitude and questions as to "why so many people are canceling on them." How the hell should I know why other people are canceling on you?? I thought I was being courteous by calling to cancel and still say thanks for your time. But I'm now regretting even contacting you at all. Im going with a more respected company that I know other people have gone with and loved their work. And I'm sure by the responses of other ratings on here, you will have something to say and won't take any responsibility for your actions. I would rethink your business techniques.

We had a great experience with 2FL on a small re-siding project. They accommodated some requests we had which was appreciated. They were also much more responsive than other siding companies we talked to, which was ultimately why we decided to go with 2FL. For any future siding work we'll definitely go to them first.

UPDATE 8/27/2020 - First, let me state that the actual crew of techs that installed our windows were AMAZING! These guys were professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have in our home for over a week.

That said, 2FL finished the window installation portion of this project a few months ago, HOWEVER, they installed window screens on half of the windows that aren't the right size. As the screens aren't the correct length, they create gaps at the top for bugs to fly in. This is also in addition to installing the wrong sliding door as well, which was backwards. (That wasn't the tech's fault, by the way, and it has since been fixed)

Back to the window screens, which to this date, still haven't been replaced, and they went from providing updates to being non responsive all together. We call on a weekly basis but get nowhere.

But wait, there's more - one of the window cranks used for opening/closing broke off yesterday. To be fair, this isn't necessarily 2FL's fault, as it is the manufacturer's, but at this point, does it really matter? After spending over $30K on this headache, I wish I went with a different company altogether.

But at least the windows look great, I guess.

Final review pending completion of project, which started 6/12/2020.

First of all I cannot complain about the quality of work.
The remaining experience is less than stellar.
1. It took over4 months to complete.
2. Poor Communication.
3. When I complained about the timeline to “Joe” he couldn’t care less. All he kept saying was it’s a construction job, it’s a big job, you have our best contractor, in 5 years you’ll forget all about it.
4. I have a big dead spot in my lawn where all the supplies were stored.
5. And I still have construction debris sitting in my front yard waiting to be hauled away 3 weeks after they finished.

This company installed windows for me, worst company for meeting their schedule, it took them almost 4 months to complete the Job.. kept my house siding open in rain, never follow up. Seems like crew is sub contracted. Recommendation: I would not go this company again, but if you still want to go with them. when you sign contract with them, add schedule penalty in the clause.

I had a roof replaced and 2FL did an excellent job. It took them 2 days to complete and the roof looks great. Many neighbors have commented on how nice it is. I highly recommend them.

We had our garage roof replaced. They were fast efficient, courteous,and did a good job cleaning up after they finished.

I had this company come out to replace my windows and I couldn't be any happier with the service that was provided. I have 3 young kids running around and the team that did my windows were very patient, friendly,polite and they even cleaned up after themselves. The windows look stunning and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg! I highly recommend them.

I had 2fl out to replace my siding and windows in june, they had great customer service and a great price , the finish product looked amazing and I will be recommending them to anyone in need of there services.

I hired 2FL to re-side our home and detached garage. The 2FL bid was the best of three bids requested. The quality of work was excellent, the work was done in a timely manner, and every employee I dealt with was courteous and professional. I highly recommend 2FL.

The worse customer service!!! No communication and too many failed promises
If you guys can find someone else to do your project please do it !! DO NOT GO WITH H THIS COMPANY!! they will have numerous number of people that will call you , and they just keep if sending me weird looking people , and then when you will need to verify those promises, NOBODY WILL CALL OR TEXT YOU BACK
Aaron is the project manager, and send me this guy named Luis, who works on a budget hours, the work that could have been done for just 2 days, still up to this time, still hanging, there's always a DRAMA.. it's too late for me to get a different contractor, but NEVER AGAIN with this company

Simeon came out for a bid on a small project for some siding repair. Although he dropped a few hints the job was too small, he was happy to do the estimate, was thorough, conscientious and courteous, sent me numbers as promised. When I followed up to talk closing the deal, I attempted to talk brass tacks on price, Simeon reminded me the job was so small that the owner wouldn't budge. Being in the market for a new roof, I threw an idea at Simeon that we could up the stakes and with the two projects together come up with a better deal. He seemed open to that idea, aske me to send the roof specs for an estimate. That was the last I heard from good old Simeon until I called him this morning (6 days later). Simeon told me he was put off by my proposal, and had 'shut down'. He went on and on lecturing me that he had already said no, that he 'cant deal' with customers who continually try to negotiate after he tells them no, that my project was too small to begin with (I get that part buddy), and that since I had the audacity to bring it up again (I had done so on one occasion and followed up on what we had discussed with an email) he decided to leave me hanging and not follow up with me (I thought he was working up a roofing bid to go with the small job). He went on to say I had asked him 5 or 6 times for a discount (not true), and that CERTAIN CULTURES RELENTLESSLY BADGER HIM ON PRICE. That's when I lost all respect for the young man. He then told me they would pass on my projects. All this over a difference of $275 from what he bid, and the potential for a 5 figure sale in follow-up business. Based on this experience I cannot recommend 2FL Windows & Siding for ANY project, large or small.

revised my previous poor review based on a no show-no call on the initial scheduled installation date.
The window ended up turning out absolutely beautiful, the installers did a great job on our conversion of a tiny 18 x 20 window that belonged in a jail cell to a gorgeous 4' x 4' bay garden window that lets in 1000% more light and really makes the kitchen amazing. I have no idea what magical trickery the two installers had to do to lift and install that heavy, huge window up on the second floor of the house but they did a good job of it. I'm now very happy with it and they were nearly the lowest price out of many contractors I had do bids on the house. still not getting 5 stars because of the no show- no call that I took time off work for though, and also for the length of time to get in put in (it was fully custom made to order, to their credit) that was twice the time of initial guidance, that was very unprofessional. I'm on the fence with a 3 star but going with a 4 do to how it ended up coming out
