Dan has done roofing work for us 3 times over the years and we will keep coming back to him for all our roofing needs. He is reliable, timely, professional, always reasonably priced and very skilled at communicating what needs to be done. His crew was kind and considerate and they left no trace on the job site. He also has a lot of knowledge about our tile roof, which is not as common in this area. I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone looking to have roofing work done in the Salem area!

My mom's roof was leaking badly but Dan and his team were amazing. They secured the tarps several times prior to replacement and then discovered damage was much worse than expected and still got the roof completed in four days! We are also so impressed at the respect everyone showed for my mom's flower beds and keeping the debris cleaned up.

Dan was very professional & answered all my questions when I first contacted him.
I would highly recommend Dan & his crew, they were at my home to do moss removal, gutter cleaning & roof treatment on a very cold & foggy day on Dec 17, 2025. All work was done & clean up was excellent.

We had a mold problem so called Dan and he was very quick to respond. He was able to come add more ventilation to our roof/attic within days of calling him. The work was done quickly and the vents look really good. He was also informative and educated me on roof and roof care.
I also felt the price was reasonable.

Dan Grow and his employees have been taking care of my roof for about 5 years now. His service for me involves routine blowing the roof clean and cleaning the gutters twice a year, as well as treating to prevent moss damage once yearly. In addition, he personally repaired our roof after a severe wind storm with tree limb damage in several places. He and his employes are always on time, do a great job, and clean up after leaving the area looking better than before they started. I highly recommend them to you.

Dan and his team did an absolutely exceptional job on our farmhouse.
We chose the midnight black malarkey roofing option and it is beautiful!
From the bidding process to the final cleanup first rate roofing was clean and professional and kind. They came across a bunch of old rotten wood on our old farmhouse and we’re able to repair it wonderfully at a very fair price.
I couldn’t have been happier with the service that we received, if you are looking to put a new roof on your house be sure to contact first rate roofing.

Dan responded promptly to my call regarding a slow roof leak on the side of our house. He and his team came right away and took great pains to thoroughly diagnose and fix the problem at a quite reasonable cost. At our request, he also treated the roof for moss control. He is definitely on our call back list for annual roof checkups.
