Yutzy did a great job building our shop. Very efficient and well built structure. Everyone at Yutzy was a pleasure to work with from the design to the crew members.

I had a fairly elaborate building design and Yutzy handled every detail extremely well. Good drawing support, good responsiveness, on-time installation and a very high quality finished product.

Yutzy custom structures is a great company to have any kind of work done as far as construction project, etc. I have known the owner of Yutzy custom structures for 30 years, he is the real deal!

Buyer beware! We’ve had an absolutely terrible experience with YCS. We signed a contract with them in June of 2022 after we heard good reviews from friends & our home is still not complete. The company has grown too fast & their workmanship is not anywhere close to what is was 5 years ago. Our roof is very dented & scratched (pictures attached). We will need to pay another company to replace it at this point. This is only one of the many issues with our home. They’ve subcontracted everything out from one subcontractor to the next. At this point, they couldn’t even tell you who has worked on our home. Very frustrating with the amount of money we have paid them. They’ve also blocked me on social media. So, I can no longer share my reviews there. Not a very professional company at all.

Overall, our experience with Yutzy was very satisfactory with only a couple of minor issues.....
1) Our original sales person left the company during the design phase which required the remaining staff to determine some of the details of our design. I'm sure this wasn't an easy task but, I'm happy to report that the marketing manager picked up the slack and found those details in the design and construction that hadn't been addressed.

2) Apparently due to a design error, 2 of the garage doors were placed too close to the corners of the building. Had the design not called for interior metal, this wouldn't have been a problem but as a result, this required recessing/staggering a portion of the interior wall. This also created come challenges with the overhead door installation. Overall, the aesthetic ramifications were minimal thanks to the ability of the construction crew and door installer to correct the problem.

In summary, I would not hesitate to have Yutzy design and build another post frame building should we have the need. I gave this company 5 stars mainly as a result of their work ethics, professionalism, and willingness to address any of my concerns.

The construction crew and overhead door installer were all a nice bunch of folks and great to work with. The general manager with whom I had most of my communication, resolved every concern I had and even worked to help me with a bit of customization on the interior walls.

Give Yutzy a call - I don't think you'll be disappointed!

So far my experience planning and designing our house has been amazing. Can't wait for them to start building it. Just a few weeks away.

YCS did and amazing job on my workshop (30x40x12)! I've been waiting 10 years to have a shop, and they made it happen. It took about 7 months after signing to get the shop started because of Covid, holidays, supplies, workers, etc. But once they did, the building was up in 4 days... With only 2 guys building it!! Then the gutter crew, concrete crew, and garage door crew all came within the next couple of weeks. I'm so on love with my new space, and can't wait to get to work!

Garrett was an awesome sales rep, and was so helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to answer all of my questions, and was so good to work with. I also loved how all of the crews were very good at communicating with me on when they would be here, and if something changed. They were all very professional, and I didn't have to worry about them blaring bad music, using bad language, etc. That was a big bonus since I have a bunch of kids that liked watching the building go up. Thank you YUTZY!! My husband is already talking about building on to it for his work, and I haven't even moved my tools over yet!

We wanted to take a moment and share our absolutely positive experience with the team at YCS. When we moved to the country, a workshop was always a dream of ours and we made it a priority. After comparing steel frame vs post frame options, we settled on a 30x40 post frame building from Yutzy with 2x 12x10 doors, a concrete floor and many other options and add-ons. We quoted several companies and settled on Yutzy due to price, reputation and being a local company.

Our Salesman, Garrett, took on a role of project management and we paid a deposit for the building. It took a few months due to lead-times and their queue, but we needed that time to hire an excavating company to prepare and level the ground, clear trees, etc.

One thing to point out is with a project like this, there are changes, dates moves around and things pop up. For example, I negotiated installation of premium Amarr overhead doors, and the foundation crew found out the entire building was being build on a rock slab. What really made the whole thing a positive experience was clear communication from Garrett, fair pricing and willing to work through whatever issues arise.

I wanted to provide feedback for your website.
If these are your best examples, try harder. The gable detail on one looks pasted on--remember, form follows function, and that gable is an add that has no function. On another example with an end wall porch, the posts are right in the middle of the span--just looks wrong. Get another plan review before you build.

I hired this company to build a structure on my land to store my RV. We made a large deposit for the structure and several weeks went by. My financial situation changed and ended up needing to sell my house and move to an entirely different state. This company returned my deposit with a little processing fee they took. To me that was fine compared to a different company that did not return any of my deposit because we "signed a contract". This company is a good honest company that was understanding of our situation. If we ever need to work with them again or recommend I most definitely would. I can't speak for the quality of workmanship but if they build stuff with the same professionalism and honesty I think this is a company that can be trusted to build your structures. Thank you Yutzy!! Great company to work with!!

I'm willing to remove this negative review if the owner Daniel refunds our deposit.
Last June we worked with Jason at Yutzy on a request to build a custom home within an outbuilding structure. We gave him our budget and had a discussion on what we were looking for which was asking Yutzy to handle building a home for us. We agreed on the price points, the structures and gave Jason the required deposit. Throughout the process Jason was extremely hard to get ahold of repeatedly. This was during COVID so we were willing to be a little flexible but this was no call/no emails for weeks. After giving our deposit and moving forward on lining everything up, the price of everything went about by over $150k of what we had initially agreed on. Additionally, Jason began to tell us that we needed to act as our own GC and line up all the subcontractors for the building of the home. When we first talked to Jason we explained to him that we had no experience in building and needed him/Yutzy to act as the GC to help us build the home. Additionally, our finance terms with the bank were denied based on the fact that we had originally told them Yutzy would be the GC, as we had discussed, and it had then changed to us as the homeowners being GC. Banks are very reluctant to finance $250k+ to homeowner GC's who don't have any construction experience. Then at the very end there were several weeks to a month where we weren't able to get in-touch with anyone to move forward on the build and help resolve our issues.
Needless to say we took our business somewhere else to a builder who was more willing to provide the customer service I'd expect with that amount of money. I'd like Daniel Yutzy to refund our deposit as this shouldn't be the way companies conduct business.

Some good guys here my trailer was not loaded properly and they help me out and help me adjust my load so it was loaded more evenly thanks guys I appreciate it thanks for being part of the community and helping out!

My 36 x 56 shop was put up with phenomenal speed. Workers were courteous, the building was up in 3 days (in January) a separate crew came and installed the gutters, doors and concrete and all of the workers did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company the building is well constructed.

My slab home construction was a great success. We have an excellent built, low maintenance house at an excellent price. Looking forward to building our first barn this summer. Always a pleasure working with the team there are Yutzy.

They shingled my house. Nice crew of men. Very polite. I never found a single piece of scrap in my yard or bushes when they left. Very impressive. I will certianly use them again.

I have had used Yutzy construction company several times everything from putting a brand new roof on my house, building an kitchen extension, to installing French doors, and building a master bedroom. The reason why I only use Yutzy Construction is that they are always honest, there work is excellent, they stand behind their work, and there employees are always polite and courteous. Yutzy Construction is very good at keeping to the times schedules. If there it is a delay it related to the weather and that is understandable. When people ask me for a recommendation for a general contractor I give them Yutzy Construction contact information. When I met up with these people later they always give an excellent report on there work.
