I can honestly say that buying a vehicle at Yellowstone Motors was the first time in my life that I have had a pleasant vehicle purchasing experience. Royal Bradford was very professional, responsive and helpful in his communication with us. This was through texting, email, and in person. This is my third Toyota tundra. First time at this location. It was an exceptional and easy transaction. I love their trucks and after dealing with two other dealerships which were only fair, I can say go to this location if you want honest people. The salesman and the manager were fantastic! It’s a five hour drive and worth every mile to go there.

I purchased a 2015 Chevy Cruze from here with about 60,000 miles on it. Since then it has had issues overheating and has been repaired multiple times for the same issue. The amount of money that has gone into repairs would have paid the car off a long time ago. It is a lemon and I would not recommend going here to purchase a vehicle.

Just bought a Highlander Hybrid from Trey. We do not live in Powell but made a call to Yellowstone Toyota about a Highlander on the lot. Trey assisted with the purchase over the phone and contacted us regularly until we were able to make the trip down to pick it up. Then he spent an hour or more helping us connect to the Toyota app and explaining the multimedia system and the features of our new vehicle. Thanks Trey!

We just bought a beautiful Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Premium from Yellowstone Motors in Powell. We love everything about the car, but that's only part of the story.

Trey Ouellette, our salesman, was extremely helpful before, during and after the sale. Before the sale he patiently explained everything and answered all questions without pressure. He seemed to know everything about the RAV4. During the sale he provided a very good trade-in for our older RAV4. After the sale he synced our iPhone with the new RAV4 and provided a detailed, hands-on explanation of the options on the RAV4 computer.

We have never had a better car sales experience than with Trey Oullette! Our advice is to ask for Trey at Yellowstone Toyota.

We had a wonderful experience at Yellowstone Motors. Trey was very helpful and explained everything. The process took a little over 2hrs from start to finish. Great company to work with. We came in with what we wanted to spend with our trade in and they nailed it with OTD. Manager and finance was easy to work with. We would highly recommend Yellowstone Motors.

PLEASE double and triple check things when getting your Toyota serviced at Yellowstone Toyota. I have three recommendations. Two small issues and one major issue.
1. Make sure all your windows are closed. Because they'll give you a complimentary wash (without asking), and the employee taking your Toyota through the car wash doesn't check your window's.
2. If your Toyota takes #.5 qts of oil and they charge you for # qts. Make sure you get the .5 qts of oil for your next oil change. I typically change my own oil, but this time, I needed a tire rotation and balance. So, I thought I would get both done at once. That .5 qts I was charged for and not provided. It could have gone toward my next oil change I do myself.
3. If you get your tires rotated and balanced. Please double and triple check your lug nuts. The next day, while traveling through Yellowstone, I found 5 lug nuts on my front passenger wheel loose. One lug nut was about to fall off. Three days later, when I got my hands on a torque wrench, I also found 2 lug nuts on my rear driver wheel loose and not torque to spec.
I reached out to Yellowstone Toyota the next day of my issues through the website and asked to be contacted by email because my cell service here is horrible in this rural area. I found out a week or two later while I was in a good service area where I was contacted by phone (voicemail). So with that I give them one extra star for at least contacting me.
Something that should have given me a red flag that I overlooked. At the time, the technician was done and walked in, and I say to him. You got one cool green mechanic cart, and he says. It's not mine, I'm just using it for the day. RED FLAG!
My service was on 05/17/25, and I reached out to them on 05/18/25 by email and asked to be contacted by email. I was contacted on 05/19/25 by phone. As of 06/08/25, I'm still waiting for my email. 06/04/25 I left a voicemail, but I'm not sure it went through. Service manager Kenny Parker, I'm still waiting for my confirmation!

Everyone at the dealership was super patient as I worked out some numbers and tried to pick the right car for me. I stumbled upon the perfect car with them and they made the experience so easy! People I have spoken to have all been pleasant, but they do shady things and have lost my Buisness. It started with my 30,000 mile service. The Toyota maintenance book that came with my vehicle 2022 tundra(purchased at a different dealership), stated transmission flush was every 60,000 miles. When my wife went in to complete the 30k, it came back costing way more than I was expecting it to be. So when we went over the receipt it showed they did a transmission flush. When we went in to talk about it they tried to give us they run around saying that because we lived in a “hilly area” it was recommended that we do it at 30k. We rarely even tow, with the vehicle. Eventually they refunded it, because at most it was not recommended to me, It was just done. Then I tried to give them another chance, when I called just now to schedule a 35k Service, and they tried to schedule me for an oil change, even though an oil change is not required until 40k. And when I pressed them on the issue, they tried to give me another run around saying it was recommended to do it sooner because we aren’t at sea level. While I agree 10k between oil changes is excessive in my opinion, I am on a recall list for a new engine so I’m not concerned about longevity, but they again did not recommend it to me, they just assumed I’d do it because they told me. The first star is mandatory, the second star is because the work they did has help up so far, and the service manager did call me back after I hung up and apologized, and said they were mistaken. If you take your vehicle here, the work they’ve done on my vehicle has held up so far, but I would be very clear with what you want from them, and use the maintenance guide that came with the vehicle to guide your own decision on the services you want them to complete or they will try and walk all over you

We have gotten a different story every time we go into the Powell, Wyoming dealership on what is and is not covered for work on the truck. The truck has been nothing but issues since we purchased it and we are not happy with the purchase of the vehicle nor the service.

Absolutely amazing experience! Car buying is nerve wracking and expensive. After a lot of research and test driving, our family of 3 decided on the 2025 4 Runner TRD Sport. Royal reached out via text, introduced himself and helped us find one. When we met for a test drive we were treated warmly by all staff. After test driving we knew we would be purchasing one but were ok with walking away that day. We were pre-approved and had good credit, and a good trade in, all things in our favor. Royal and the management team made a deal we couldn’t walk away from. We left feeling like we should go down and BBQ with the entire office!

Some pretty sleazy Toyota dealerships out there (windshield strengthening coating @ $999 - really!), however, Yellowstone Toyota is the cream of the crop. Straightforward, honest, respectful. Came a long distance for my 2nd purchase from them - worth the trip.

We found a car we wanted at Yellowstone Motors but we’re in Seattle. We called Yellowstone where staff were wonderful and answered our questions. There was no pressure. We flew to Billings and the awesome Delana met us at our hotel with the car and paperwork ready to go. It was the EASIEST and BEST car buying experience we’ve ever had from a dealership. We started our drive home feeling like we got a great price and over the top customer service. We would absolutely recommend them and would buy from them again.

Monica, Sheri, Tim, Austin and Clyde were absolutely incredible. They saved our trip and did it all with such kindness. It’s not often travelers are met with such politeness, honesty, and genuine LOVE. This shop has the DREAMTEAM.

Got an inspection, new spark plugs, and new ignition wiring within 3 hours. Clyde, the mechanic, test drove our car and knew exactly what the problem was in 2 minutes, a problem that nobody could diagnose for months. It hasn’t run this smoothly in years. Not to mention, this was all incredibly affordable.

If you find yourself with some car troubles, I cannot recommend this shop enough. As kids with very little car knowledge and were very far from home, we felt extremely taken care of.

Thank you all for your hospitality, it did not go unnoticed <3

We purchased a used vehicle from Delana and the team at Yellowstone. They made the purchasing experience incredibly easy, came to an agreement before coming in to test drive and were driving home in an hour.

We noticed something about a week after having the car that we thought should have been picked up during a service of the vehicle prior to our purchase. We called Delana and their service manager took great care of us and helped remedy the situation. My wife and I highly recommend working with Delana and Yellowstone motors.

I couldn't believe that they had a 2023 Camry Hybrid in stock and available! I've been looking for one since last November, and every dealership made me place money down to get on a list for 3-7 months. I literally called them, drove 1.5 hours, and 1.5 hours later they gave me an amazing trade and I owned a Camry Hybrid! I could not have asked for a more pleasant crew that BTW closed at 3 on a Saturday and stayed open till almost 6 pm to make my car buying experience perfection! I couldn't be happier!! Best experience I’ve ever had with a dealership and getting service to my vehicle. James was awesome! He was able to fit me in their busy schedule so that I didn’t have to worry about a long trip I had soon after the work. Additionally, he was able to find me a loaner car (there were none available at the time) as I live in Worland and didn’t have any other means to get back and forth between there and Powell. Thank you for the great customer service! I highly recommend!

Very easy to trade in our vehicle and they were very quick at getting us a temporary vehicle while they were getting a windshield replaced our new vehicle. We're patient and courteous and helped us find a vehicle that met our needs. Probably won't go to any other dealership in the future than Yellowstone motors.

The work was done, but the check off paper was confusing. Said the front tires had equal wear (one was brand new, the other has 5000 or more miles on it. Nothing checked off about the crack and pits in the windshield.
I like the check off paper, but I am wondering if your guys are haphazardly checking things off.

The service was prompt and the oil change and checkups were done to satisfaction. Prices have significantly increased and customer service isn’t what it used to be a couple of years ago. They used to wash your car exterior, but don’t take the time to do this anymore. The service provided was average overall. I got what I paid for, but there is nothing other than location to make me prefer this service department over any other.
