Steer clear of this company!!! I hired Christopher to repair my chimney in September of 2022 and him and his crew was on time to do the job at the end of the day I paid Christopher in cash and had a handshake that he would finish the job, they did a very poor job at what they did, I had to call them back immediately to finish the one side they didn't do. I tried contacting him multiple times and got no response from him. April 2023 he sent a crew member to install the cleanout door and I finally got ahold of him to see when he was going to finish repairing the cracks he basically said he was done and wasn't going to do anymore so if you want someone who will not finish the job and do a very poor job he's your man!

Wolfe responded quickly to my inquiry, showed up on time for a review of conversion from LP gas to wood stove with masonry work. It appeared that he had a solution and would get back to me with a quote. Then nothing, no response to my emails, calls or text messages.

If you don't want to do the job, then at least be a responsible businessperson and say so. Don't waste your time with this stone mason.

Had water leaking down an old, disused chimney in the garage causing water damage. Wolfe Masonry & Chimney was recommended by the guys that did our roof last year (The Roof Doctors - excellent service), and we got a good estimate. They came to work on getting that chimney out and the roof patched less than a week later. Excellent job on matching the shingles and in providing the pictures despite forgetting to ask for them. Work area was tidied up also, which is greatly appreciated.

I’ve worked with Wolfe on a couple of projects. Great company and owners. Punctual and hard working, knowledgeable and works rain or shine. If you need any stone work done, Chris Wolfe is the guy to call.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
