Genesis Buildings

I wrote an excellent review for Genesis buildings and I mentioned a carpenter that came out to finish the job and I put the wrong name. The carpenter that came and helped me at my house after waiting an hour and and driving for an hour was Cameron. He was excellent craftsman and very professional. This company was five star all the way.

We recently had a shed Built by Genesis! If I could give them a 10 star rating I would.
From the first communication through installation date what a great experience. Josh and crew arrived when expected, very professional Did a fantastic job and again I can’t talk highly enough of this company!

Daryl and the whole team at Genesis were a pleasure to deal with! I’m in the construction industry and they were very professional to deal with, it was exactly 3 weeks from placing the order to delivery. The quality was also way above our expectations. The delivery went so smoothly and quickly… I can’t say enough about how great the whole experience was.

Joas was absolutely wonderful to work with. I had tried other companies who were trying to force me to buy (prior to having a permit in hand) or else they would not honor their quote provided days before. I could not believe how patient and understanding he was with all my last minute changes. The county gave me a really hard time getting my permit so I opted to go below 200 sq ft and actually saved a HUGE amount doing so. So again there was another change and Joas never batted an eye. He took so much time providing me with multiple quotes in different sizes to get me as close to my budget as possible. He responded quickly and even on his own private time. I truly appreciate him and I will definitely go through him for my next building in the VERY near future.

TJ delivered my building today and he was also a pleasure to work with. My building had taller walls so it wouldn’t fit under my powerlines but that didn’t stop him. He unloaded the building at the bottom of my nearly 900 foot driveway and used a really cool machine to drive it to the very top. He made things look EASY! He was polite, kind, and VERY easy to work with. I cannot thank him enough for doing such a great job.

It was a great experience working with these family men and I will NEVER go through anyone else because I just do not think any other company can compare. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for turning my dreams of working from home into a reality. I cannot tell you how many happy pups there will be getting massages in this BEAUTIFUL building!

Super happy with my 8x12 chalet! Dana took great care of me. The quality on my building was so good. The communication was great from start to finish. Can't wait to order my next one next spring! Thank you Genesis Buildings!

CJ confirmed the appointment time well in advance and just before arriving, asked for orientation to the project and answered all my questions and concerns as the move and install went forward...this is the company for anyone...even first tomers.... with a structure to move...even TUFF SHEDS. Professional building crew. Good communication and attention to detail. Left job site clean and free of debris. Solid hard work getting it done when they said it would be done. Would recommend

Bought a shed, good product. Poor assembly and customer service. One door is higher than the other.
First weather change door swelled and couldn’t open. They came and shaved the top to free up it from being stuck shut.
Next the door handle fell apart. Made two calls with promise of some answers with no response or repair. I have a table up against the door to keep it closed.
I was told they no longer selling Summit Sheds but yet they’re the ones that sold me the shed.

Highly recommend working with Genesis buildings. The entire process was streamlined. They were responsive and helpful, great craftsmanship and delivery went fantastic!

I am extremely happy with the work Genesis Buildings and team did to complete my shed. I worked with Dana to scope the project and get the estimate and had Josh come on site to do the construction. Dana was amazingly accommodating and knew exactly how to support my design and building requests based on the custom shed and set up I wanted (not to mention delay in timing, thanks for the patience!).
Also have a big shout out to Josh who single handedly put the shed together over a few days. The weather was nasty and despite it, he was very professional and executed at a high standard!
I would strongly recommend working with Genesis buildings and A Structure For Life and will be doing so in the future if the opportunity presents itself.

I recently had a shed moved by TJ. His communication was great, he showed up on time (with a really cool trailer), did a great job loading my shed and moving it to my new house. My shed was not a fantastic or particularly sturdy shed, but he managed to move it without damaging anything. The price was very fair and much less than another company I spoke to. I may not ever need another shed moved, but if I do Genesis buildings will be my first call. I would also not hesitate to call them for a new shed in the future.

I couldn’t be happier with the end product. Josh used high quality materials, had excellent craftsmanship and worked late to get the job done. He was a great communicator and showed up when he said he would.

The shed will end up being my home office and the care and attention to detail of Josh’s craftsmanship ended up making the interior finishing easy. Everything was level, straight, plumb and square making drywall a breeze. Every concern I had going into the build was addressed without me even having to voice them. He even accommodated a small request I had regarding door placement.

10/10 would highly recommend.

Only PRAISE for JOSH and his excellent building of our Genesis Shed! He was amazing : his attention to detail was awesome, his expertise in erecting it properly and safely remarkable, expedient and friendly and a joy to be with. A true great worker. We appreciate his performance and our finished product. He also did a splendid job of clean up and removal of any leftover bits of materials. Apologies for the delay in sending this as we have sealed the studs inside with “ Kilz” for further protection. Thank You for a job Well Done. Be glad you have Josh on your team!

I bought a large shed from Genesis.I had it custom built on my property.I was very happy with Jay and josh.There we’re easy to deal with and responsive.The day of my shed build anytime I contacted Josh he responded quickly. I really appreciated that.I would definitely recommend them.

Chad, Josh and the people at Genesis Buildings did an incredible job designing and building my detached backyard shed/office! I did a lot of research narrowing down my builder and got 3 bids for my project in Seattle. Genesis Buildings had both the highest quality and the best price for the job. I was blown away by their craftsmanship. I was able to customize a lot of the project (i.e. type of flooring, lights, heater, security alarm system etc.) and they exceed all my expectations along the way.

I would highly recommend them for any build!

Looked and plenty of sheds and have had many as well! The build quality and workmanship in these sheds are hands down the reason for going with them. They are easy to work with and will even paint it to match the house. Delivery was a awesome and on time. Will definitely use again.

You will not find better standard options anywhere else and the price point is better than lower quality buildings on the market. Win win
