WM Contracting was great to work with on our insurance claim and they knew exactly how to deal with my insurace company to get our repairs approved in the hail claim. The insurance company did not want to accept many of the requested damages and WM Contracting was great in validating and justifying the repairs. I really believe that their experience in negotating with the insurance company was integral in getting all of my repairs approved.

WM Contracting had originally replaced the roof of the prior resident of our home in 2024. After a major storm or two of this year we started getting squishy moist walls and water pooling up from our grout in a specific area in the home.

We jumped to calling our insurance and then remembered WM was listed as the roof repairs. True to his word, Chuck told us he would handle it and that there is a warranty on all the work for the roof. Damages and repairs were covered and we did not have to deal with juggling insurance, home repairs , finances, and the stress of being new homeowners.

Subcontractors throughout the process were helpful and quick to assist us. Thank you for peace of mind and knowing that the next storm is not putting us in ankle deep water.

Megan got me approved for a beautiful brand new AC unit. A complete replacement of 2 new outside units, furnace and thermostats. Cool Experts is the way to go. People friendly installers, and very knowledgeable regarding your AC questions and concerns..

Justin was referred to me for my roof a few years ago and he came by and checked everything out and said everything looked fine and it didn’t need attention. This year I noticed a leak and I knew we had some hail storms and I had him come back out to look and he said we needed to replace the roof and there was some other miscellaneous damage to the gutters, garage door, and fence. I submitted an insurance claim and my insurance company sent an estimator out and Justin coordinated his schedule to meet the insurance company. They walked the house and the insurance guy promptly denied the claim. Justin told me not to worry and let them handle it. After that they were able to get the insurance company to agree to replace everything that was damaged. I was surprised because I had no faith in the insurance company but whatever WM contracting did worked and they got it all taken care of. After the insurance company agreed everything was taken care of the work was great the material seems to be top of the line and I honestly couldn’t be happier about how everything went. I had no faith in my insurance company and they took care of everything and more. This is not a fly by night storm chasing company this is a reputable honest company who works hard for you and it shows in the quality and execution of the work.

Mark S. and Chuck at WM Contracting were and are great to work with. They took care of everything start to finish, Mark was always in contact letting me know what was happening and they fought with my very uncooperative insurance company and got it all done.

I worked with WM Contracting on a hail damage insurance claim and the overall experience has been fantastic.

Chuck Downey knows the ins and outs of dealing with insurance companies. He ensures that everything that should be included in the claim is indeed covered. This was definitely a lengthy process, but patience paid off in the light of all the additional coverage that Chuck was able to ensure.

While negotiation with the insurance company can be lengthy, once a settlement was reached, all the work was lightning fast! Work started two days after the settlement - gutters were down on Friday and the fence was pressure washed. Roof was replaced next Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday Cool Experts crew was here replacing two of the damaged A/C units (inside and out), and on Thursday the fence was stained and final roof flashing work was being done. On Friday they wanted to put the gutters up, but due to a scheduling conflict on my side, we pushed that out to the following week.

All the work that was performed was of excellent quality and the teams performing the work are very professional. If there is any damage along the way (I had some sprinklers broken - understandable with all the old shingles coming off the roof), just bring it up to Chuck and he takes care of it.

Cannot recommend this outfit enough! If you have a hail claim, go with WM Contracting and Chuck Downey.

Megan and her team recently completed HVAC installation at my house. It was the best professional experience. Megan is super helpful and always there to answer any doubts or questions. Every step she guided and made sure right follow up is done. She is one of the best sales Person I dealt so far.
HVAC replacement work is done in one day for 2 units including outside units and furnaces. Quality is super of installation staff as well. And later on Megan made sure that both units registered with manufacturer on my name.

I don't write many reviews but for this one I wish I could choose 10 stars. I can't say enough about the amazing service provided by Chuck, Justin, and the entire crew at WM Contracting. Our house had massive water damage due to the fire suppression pipe bursting during one of the Texas freezes. The first thing Chuck said was, "I'll take care of everything". Let me tell you, he did! He worked directly with the insurance company on our behalf and got almost triple (yes, triple) what they originally estimated. Chuck found several items the insurance adjuster missed, pointed them out, and got them covered. Once the insurance part was completed, his team got to work and finished the job AHEAD of schedule and beyond our wildest expectations. They're an exceptional company and when you have them on your side, just stand back and watch the magic happen. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any remodeling or renovation job!

My husband talked with more than ten roofers who knocked our doors before we met Megan. My friend recommended her to us for AC repair. She did a quick inspection same day and handled everything very professionally. She is good at working with the insurance adjuster. My new AC got installed within 2 weeks.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had hail damage to our roof, but we didn’t know how bad it was until we woke up to a leaking ceiling on a rainy Saturday morning in late October. I reached out for help, and within a few hours, Megan had arranged for an emergency tarp to be placed, and explained what steps to take next. Once we filed an insurance claim, they handled the rest- everything from communication with the insurance company to scheduling the work to be completed. Everything was handled quickly, and they made sure we were happy every step of the way. Professional, friendly, just all around AMAZING company to work with.

She went above and beyond to earn my trust by taking me to other houses in my neighborhood where they provided their services, so that I can hear it myself and be confident before signing up a contract with them. Chuck we known for years but never not surprises me. We worked with WM Contractor, Mark for our backyard fence replacement, roof replacement and exterior painting. Mark is amazing and we are very happy with all the work. He along with his team did a great job. Very professional and the best contractor we have worked with so far. I can’t say good things about Chuck and his team helping me get my roof damage claim through the insurance Scope of Loss process with my insurance company. WM contracting are trustworthy. We had hail damage and waited for six months to get windows and AC replaced with my previous contractor but no luck. WM Contractor took care in just in two weeks. New original windows and new AC units were replaced. They are highly professional, my insurance did not wanted to pay for new windows and AC unit but WM contracting dealt with insurance to pay, I greatly thank them. I highly recommend to any one for their services without any hesitation.

Very pleased with the experience. They helped us with dealing with insurance, which was a long battle. And, then quickly got all the work done. The roof looks great (expect quality to be great too as neighbors who got their roof done earlier have not had any issues). The interiors were especially done very well; finishing, attention to detail, and responsiveness to any call outs we had was very good. I don't think the whole work could've been done with any less effort on my part!

We recently had WM Contracting perform some repairs on our home. New roof (probably the best shingles on the market with a warranty), fixed a leaky front bay window (it had been a problem for years and several folks could never fix it), stained the wood fence, replaced all gutters and repaired all windows. They did a fantastic job. They had great, friendly people out to do all the work. They were here when they said they would be here. And all this work only took a little over a week. I cannot endorse WM Contracting and the owner Chuck Downey enough. They gained my trust very quickly and I will contact them again for some home improvements that we have planned. I contacted WM Contracting after the hail earlier this month. They are surprisingly swift to respond and action immediately. They came over to my house to do inspection the same day I contacted them, boarded up my broken window the second day and started the roofing work and windows replacement within the next week. Also, they took care of the entire inspection/negotiation process with the insurance company so I won't need to worry about anything. Pretty satisifed with what they did so far. I would definitely recommend this company to my other friends.

Let me explain to you how our experience went …….we live in the Frisco area, and we caught wind of the horrible hail storm and our entire neighborhood was affected (Rivendale by the lake). Our Roof had holes in it , shingles were extremely damaged and window screens/window frames were broken and our fence was ruined . We didn’t realize the toll it took on our home .

Right after the storm there were tons of contractors coming to the door every 2 hours, ringing the door bell, and knocking. It was very annoying , especially while working from home . However , when WM Contracting left their information it was a personalized note with business card on the door (no interruptions made). Their business card was professional , personalized and most importantly it listed there certification. That was very important to my wife & I because anyone can come to your house say they can fix your roof but not everyone is GAF certified ! We did research on the company and their approach matched their quality of work previously reviewed.

We gave them a call on a Sunday afternoon. They were here in 15 mins . Checked out the damage, and gave us the full details of the work needed to be done. We called our insurance and by Wednesday the adjuster was here and they also were here to help and assist to assure all items were checked. Dawn and chuck were extremely professional , knowledgeable, prompt, honest, and made our process EXTREMELY easy . These are great qualities to have when you as a home owner is going through a tough time with your home . Thank you WM Contracting for taking care of our home needs!!!
