Matt my guy down at the service dept. And his group of technicians helped take care of my cars recall. They are always fast and never had an issue having to go back to get anything fixed. I recommend these guys never had an issue, and they inspected my vehicle at a great price. Come on and don't be worried they got your back.

The Customer Service at Wiscassett Ford was awful. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I brought my Ford Edge in for three things; the AC wasn't cold, the brakes felt soft/squishy and a tune up.
Fortunately I had a coupon for the tune up or I would have gone elsewhere for that, their prices are outrageous.
I got a call that my car was ready, the tune up was done. I asked about the AC and he said they had to add freon. I asked about the brakes, he said they topped off the brake fluid. He said they did a brake inspection and the results were in a text they would send. So fine, I checked the text. To my surprise it said my brake pads were quite worn and needed to be replaced. THEY SENT THIS TO ME IN AN AFTER JOB TEXT. No phone call, just a text. Then, the cherry on the cake, in that same text, they tell me the bearings in my driveshaft are shot and I need a new driveshaft at an $1,800 cost. THIS IS IN A TEXT! No phone call, no heads up, not even MENTIONED during the "your car is ready" call. WHAT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! On top of that, if I were this guy's boss I would fire him for not getting more business. If they had told me my breaks needed repair I probably would have had it done. The driveshaft I'll need a second opinion, but I would have looked to them for an intermediate solution. The nail in the coffin? It cost me $280 for them to add freon to the AC. They said it was due to a diagnostic, ie: hooking it up to a meter. Give me a break.

Overall, I was pleased with my experience. However, I included comments in my service request regarding needing undercoating service that could have been better coordinated and communicated prior to my visit. Also, you note recall items requiring attention in your app but you seem to leave it up to the customer to ask about and/or insist that they get done. This doesn't seem appropriate as this should be something that your service department should be regularly reviewing with every Ford vehicle (especially one that was purchased at your dealership) that comes in for service. It's disconcerting that you would leave possibly critical safety bulletin and known issues to Ford to the customer to bring to your attention as if it weren't for the app I may not have known about them otherwise. However, I will do a better job of reviewing this before I come in the next time. Furthermore, it's disconcerting that you would not be able to fully address what sounds like a pretty significant potential safety issue regarding the hub locks in my model year truck due to a parts shortage and manufacturing delay. Seems like this should definitely at least be inspected in all trucks and a timetable for replacement be given. Otherwise, Colin and your service team did a superb job taking care of me and my truck. Thank you!!

It's really hard to give a dealer a 5 star rating but if any dealer deserves one, WF does.

They're quick, nice, UNDERSTANDING (important) and try every angle to get your repairs covered under warranty.

I know folks with Fords in other states that report absolute horror shows about their dealer taking 2 weeks to diagnose a problem, let a lone repair it. Wiscasset Ford is like if your local mechanic got bought by Ford.

I recently traded my truck in for a 2022 gold certified F150 low mileage and the equipment I was looking for supper clean inside and out clean carfax could not be happier with the whole sales experience about a month later a check engine light came on and my ford app said it was a knock sensor so took it back to Wiscaset ford for service they in return gave me a brand new f150 for a loaner they called me up 2 days later to tell me my truck was already went back turned in my loaner and got my truck o cost to me great service and very nice place to do business I highly recommend them

They made the shopping experience super easy. Great selection and fair pricing. Have to shout out Dave - he could have easily sold a vehicle after I expressed interest, but he waited for a time that was convenient for me to finish the deal. He listened to my questions and sought good answers from the team there. Their financing department went to a local credit union to find the best interest rate. I was very impressed with their customer focused approach and will be back!

Once again I find myself at Wiscasset Ford, getting my truck serviced. I tend to be "pro-active" verses "reactive", when it comes to making sure my truck is "up - to - par". The service I receive is always excellent. Whether dealing with a mechanic, or the Service Department CSR's : Matt and Colin, I and my truck have, always been treated with EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I've been a customer of Wiscasset Ford since 1997 and can't imagine that I'll ever go anywhere else for servicing of my current vehicle, or the purchase of another vehicle.

It is easy to rave about a place when things are easy. But what about when there is a hiccup or issue - because that is when you see what type of customer service a place really has - and Wiscasset Ford was great! The general sales manager was fantastic to deal with, empathetic and fair. He addressed everything up front and I truly appreciated it. I ended up having a great experience and everyone there - sales, service, support - they are all friendly, genuine and great to deal with! I am very pleased with the experience.

I had been looking for a Ford certified F-150 for a while. Wiscasset had a great selection of trucks, and I purchased a 2023 F-150 from them. The price was very competitive for a like-new, low mileage truck and the offered a fair trade-in for my old truck. Great experience at the dealership and I am very happy with my purchase. After shopping online for a used Ford Ranger at all of the area Ford dealers, it was clear that Wiscasset had the best selection and, due to their no fee policy, the best bottom-line prices. I traded my 2014 F-150 and got the value I had hoped for and purchased a 2020 Ranger for a very good price; it was a great deal all-around. Kaylee Poland was exceptionally good to work with.

Make sure you pull a carfax before you buy from these guys they think it’s ok to sell a vehicle that basically should have been totaled for $35000 and then think it’s funny when you try to trade it back in to them 7 months later and tell you how bad it is and offer you $22000 they should be ashamed of themselves. This place is garbage buyer beware !!

I contacted the folks at Wiscasset Ford a few days in advance and requested that I would like to see the truck that I eventually purchased. I was very reluctant to drive all the way down there from my home in Sebec. The trip is around 100 miles one way. The reason I was reluctant was because another dealership that I have purchased many vehicles from in the past sold one out from under me as I was on my way to see it. I called them and told them I was on my way to look at two vehicles there. They said they would have them warmed up and ready to be test-driven once I got there. I get there, and someone is in one of the trucks I requested to check out. I was never able to look at it, supposedly, the person looking at it decided to purchase it. Wiscasset Ford assured me that the truck would be there when I got there. So I went to look at it. The truck had most of the features that I wanted in a truck, and the price was fair. I would have loved to have been able to make the whole purchase in one day, but I had to go all the way back home and go to my Credit Union in Dover to get the paperwork and checks all taken care of and then drive back down the following day in a snow storm. This issue was more because of what my credit union wanted me to do and not Wiscasset Ford. The truck was very clean, and the salespeople were very friendly and helpful. My salesman. Jordan Omo had the day off but asked me to let him know when I would be in to pick up the truck, and he would come in to finish the deal. I was happy about that and appreciated him coming in on his scheduled day off. Everything went well, and I made the 100 miles home safely. Driving home, it was very cold, and I tried to use my windshield washer fluid, but it did not work. I texted Jordan to let him know. I suspected it could have been frozen because of the cold temperatures that day. It was below zero on the way home. He told me if it didn't work the next day to let him know. The next day was much warmer, and the washer fluid worked fine. I suspect that when they washed the truck, they put it outside before it all was dry, and that froze up the washer fluid line. It all works fine now. I am very satisfied with the truck so far. It Looks like Wiscasset Ford may be my new go-to dealership. Thank you once again.

had a warranty issue on our 2019 eco-sport done there. Wiscasset fords part was a very good experience. ford motors part was not what was expected . it told near 2 months to get the part.

Exceptional car buying experience! (Really? Is there such a thing?). Yes. For starters: David Warford should be a poster child for the Best Car Salesperson in the entire state of Maine. David was calm and professional. No pressure and explained all facts and figures so I could fully understand. I felt he was the kindest man and wanted me to have a perfect fit in my new to me Bronco. (Used and in perfect condition with brand new tires). The entire staff was attentive, professional and friendly. Wiscasset Ford is currently renovating their facility so return visits will be an absolute pleasure with an Elite Cafe to enjoy. Thank you David and Staff. Jeff Allen, my salesperson went out of his way to do research for me on the weight of the Jeep I purchased to ensure I could tow it safely behind my RV. Although Wiscasset Ford wasn’t the closest to me, I really appreciated the extra effort and zero pressure. I would highly recommend them.

Matt was there to greet me and took all of my information. He was very helpful and took his time explaining the work that was being Done on my 2018 F 150. The backup camera stopped working and I wanted it fixed. Matt took the time to inform me what was going on with the repair. I have done business with Wiscasset Ford 1996 from buying vehicles to service work. They have always been wonderful to work with. They are kind friendly helpful folks. I recently went for an oil change an asked about new tires. They informed me I had built up points from purchasing my last vehicle and had over 400.00 in credit. They were honest as I would have never known that! To top it off they arranged to have my tires put on during my scheduled oil change AND put me in a new car rental at no cost!!! For 30 years I’ve done business with them and I highly recommend them to anyone!!!

I own a great 2021 F250. Love the truck, but having transmission problems. Have had it to WisFord twice and headed for a third. This is a known problem, I don’t blame the dealer.
I just wish that when the vehicle is not ready when promised they would call and let me know. As it is, I have to call them and check the status.

Sadly, this experience with Wiscasset Ford was not at all satisfactory.
I brought my 2020 F-150 in to have the Front Passenger Door Lock Actuator replaced. They had my truck for 4 days, tried selling me $1600 in separate maintenance servicing repairs (brakes, fluids) and then fixed the Driver’s Side Front Door Actuator, which was the wrong side.
I now have to bring my truck back in to have the unrepaired broken actuator fixed properly.
Additionally, the greasy hand prints left behind on the Driver’s Door and Window are unacceptable.

I have used Wiscasset Ford since I purchased my first car in 2004. I tried a closer Ford dealership to where I live, and I was extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service and over charging me for services. This was my first visit back to Wiscasset Ford in a couple years, and I will never go anywhere else! While my car was being serviced, I had a family emergency which left me with the struggle of trying to figure out how to get my car home from the dealership. I asked Colin my service advisor if they had a delivery service or if he could help me find a way to get my car home. If not, my car would need to stay there until i could find a way to pick it up. Colin and the service team delivered my car to my home free of charge that same day. It is extremely refreshing to know that I am taken care of at Wiscasset Ford.Thank you so much for being so understanding and helpful. I will make the time to travel for your service, because you take care of your customers like family, and it shows!
