Having worked with Jake directly and as a Sub Contractor with my Fencing company over the last few years I can highly recommend Winkle and Sons. Jake has a great breadth of knowledge in custom home building and has a genuine commitment to the community and customers. Great guy to work with.

They were fast, efficient, professional and we are so happy with our new roof. The clean up after the job was amazing. These are the people to hire if you need a contractor!

Jake Winkle led me on and wasted my time after telling me he'd give me an estimate and do the remodel in my master bath. He said that he was busy but would give a written estimate in a week at the latest. I was excited to hire him, but he blew me off, evidently the minute he left my driveway. After 2 weeks I started reaching out to him and he
wouldn't even answer my texts or calls. He could have told me he couldn't do the job. For this reason, he is clearly UNPROFFESSIONAL and dishonest to my face. I have reflected back to consider this a blessing in disguise.

Winkle & Sons did a fantastic job on a deck that we had them install on our newly built house. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We will be coming back for our future needs!

I am new to this area and put out a search on facebook for a local Contractor to build me a covered deck with 2 sets of stairs and railings as well as pour a concrete slab with fencing for my trash cans and paint my fence at my newly purchased home. I am a recent widow and I was concerned about cost and maintenance for this particular project. I interviewed a total of four companies and while all were professional Jacob was the only one that actually listened to all of my needs.

He provided me options with regards to decking types and railing choices and roof styles in both the maintenance free and other. Once I decided he brought back a comprehensive quote with drawings and a breakdown of all costs. He wasn't the least expensive quote but he wasn't the most expensive and gave me everything I asked for.

He set a start date and gave me a rough estimation as to the completion date (weather permitting) and arrived on time and ready to go. Jacob and his crew always left the site cleaned up and safe when they left for the day. The deck was finished on time and it is beautiful. In fact my neighbors liked it so much they hired them as well.

I would definitely hire him again should I need any other contracting work done.

Recently, I needed to have my roof repaired. I had 2 other companies come out, one guy to even look at my roof was going to charge me $125.00. I was given Winkle and Sons Construction and Repairs phone number, from another roofing company. I called and spoke with Jake, the owner of Winkle and Sons Construction and Repair. I went with them because Jake was prompt, honest and upfront about what my roof needed for repair. Jake even covered my leaking roof that same day, answered all my questions and also did an amazing job with the repairs. Winkle and Son’s also cleaned my roof. I will use them again when I need a new roof. I recommend Winkle and Sons Construction and Repair, to anyone.

Winkle and sons removed a wall in between my kitchen and living room and pulled up old flooring to lay hard wood. As well as build the most awesome dog kennel I have ever seen! Jake Winkle is a true craftsman. Highly recommend!
