Window World of Central Valley

My husband and I recently bought a house. The experience of moving and settling in is a blur. I noticed several windows had started to mold. So, I contacted Window World to see about getting them replaced. The windows weren’t even 4 years old yet and we had only just moved. Window World told me the warranty is transferable but not after 30 days.. wow way to stand by your product. The photos I’m attaching show you what kind of company this is.

Window World has made our dream come true. Eight years ago when we bought our first home, we never could have imagined it looking the way it does now. A huge thank you to Brad our designer, and leader, through it all. We are beyond the moon. Excellent company and 5 stars hands down!

Window World made the whole process easy and affordable. Brad Bjork, the salesman, is where it started. He was so patient and answered all my questions throughout the process. The installers were very polite and cleaned up everything when they were done. I would highly recommend Window World.

Communication with this company is excellent, the windows were installed when promised and done very processionally. Have used them twice and plan on using them again.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Window World. From the knowledgeable salesman that came out to the install. I was a very positive experience from start to finish.

Brad (The senior design consultant) He is very easy to communicate with. He will answer all your questions. Nice guy ! Also the workers who installed the patio door it for me , They were also very polite & very professional. They come on time. Good team work ! Good quality ! I love my new patio door !

Window World made the whole process of getting new windows easy and affordable. They helped us every step of the way. Brad Bjork was very helpful and patient with us as we chose the windows we wanted. He was always very responsive when we asked questions.
The installers did an amazing job when they were there and cleaned everything up. You could barely tell that our house was worked on that day. There was practically no mess. Window World was the most affordable place around and we love our new windows!

Thanks to the door and window crew also, our new basement door doesn’t leak air and the windows are great! We can actually open these sliders with ease compared to our old double hung windows.
Brad was our sales man and he was honest and upfront,,, convincing us to go with the fiberglass hardboard plank insulated siding was the best sell of the deal!

I can honestly say even in just 3 weeks, we can feel a difference. Our home is brick masonry with plaster on the brick,,, the interior walls use to feel warm to the touch on hot days…. I can say the feel cool now like an interior wall should feel!

We are planning an addition in a couple of years and I can say Window World will be our first call for siding and windows on the new addition.

What a pleasure it was to work with Brad Bjork. I was looking to have two entry doors to the basement replaced. He was very knowledgeable about his products and worked with us to ensure we would get what we wanted. The installers we wonderful and made sure installation was done to our approval. Great job!!!!

Decent. But the one star comes in because of an issue related to customer service and respect. An indoor window that was not supposed to be taken off was hacked into and the response was I pay for it? I’m fine with paying for it to let people know and give a 1 star and never use them again. No problem. Buyer beware.
Edited in August. And this is growing on the caulk outside the windows…I supposed to move for Army and stuck with this all over the windows. More updates to follow

Window World employees just finished a vinyl repair on my home. Kudos to these hard working guys and gal. They did an excellent job, very professional. The clean up was so good you would not even know they had been there! Of course, this whole adventure started with a tall young man named Brad who came to the house and answered every question I put forth. And, he kept me posted until the job began. It is a real treat to work with people who are professional and want to please the customer. We need more people who want to work, not get paid for sitting on their butts.

Just had my screen porch turned into a sun room. Jose,the installer was very meticulous with his work and did an excellent job. My salesman ,Brad , was also very good to work with. Very please with their service!

All who read this please take my advice and stay away from this company. Our experience with them has been horrible. From the point of meeting with the salesman to the install went fairly smooth but it's been a downhill journey from there. Within the first year we had to have several sashes replaced due to the gas escaping from between the panes and basically you couldn't see through them. It took a while for the replacements to arrive and be installed. That's when we discovered the next issue. All of their windows have a serial label attached which correlates to the window's info...style, size, location etc. We found about 7 out of our 20+ replacement windows have labels that are completely out of sequence with the others. Turns out when they were manufactured the incorrect labels were applied so now we're dealing with a sash that has had 7 or 8 attempts at being replaced...with no success. at one point the installer said he was just going to give them the measurements to go by instead of the serial number. Guess what, tried that two times and they still haven't gotten it right. As time passes we keep finding a window here and there that's doing the same thing. when my wife voiced her displeasure with the installer his response was "what's the big deal, you have a lifetime warranty." So we figure he's dealing with this on a consistent basis. We're pretty patient people but this experience has worn us down to the point of being furious. I wish I'd never heard of this company!!!

The installer of our 9 windows was efficient, very clean, no trash left, and made sure all our questions were answered before leaving. The windows that were replaced were removed along with the trash.

Wow! Thanks Window World for another great job! This is our 3rd experience with this company and I actually think it’s the best. Brad Bjork was our representative and we could not be happier. He not only took so much time with us, he was quick to respond, help in anyway and always there with any concerns. Brad helped me navigate the process smoothly and was there every step of the way! We wanted an extra large slider to replace an existing door. He made it happen!
Jose and his crew were respectful and helpful. They were clean and tidy and worked quickly. Jose communicated the process with us very well.
Our home was cold and drafty. We were using floor heaters to keep us warm in the winter months. We couldn’t believe how much warmer the house is. Took our thermostat down about 4 degrees.

I call back on December 27th for window replacement on my home. They said they would notate I wanted work done asap and would have someone reach out soon.

I just wanted to say, I find it very unprofessional and horrible customer service to not follow up on a job inquiry.

No one has reached out to me regarding window replacement for my home. If this is how you operate, I would not want you to do work on my home anyway

It was a lengthy delivery time but the final results were outstanding. Great window installation job. On-time arrival and went straight to work. Much attention to details. Thank you

The gentleman who installed our windows, Jose, did a terrific job. He came in, got started and in two days we had new windows. He was a hard worker.

Had a very positive experience with Window World. We needed to replace windows in a rental property and were in a time constraint to get windows installed between tenants. Brad Bjork made an extra effort to personally take measurements on the windows so they could be ordered and ready to install exactly when we needed. The install was accomplished in one day and went smoothly. We are very happy with the windows.

The salesman will say anything to close the sale and he is really smooth he promised us delivery dates that did not happen and there was no recourse. The colors he claimed to carefully match obviously did not match in 2 places but the way he wrote them in the contract was such that we were liable for them. . Every time I would call them to discuss a problem the Central officer would say that they would have the salesman call me back and he never did for 2 different problems. There was not a hint of "we would like you to be happy with the sale" in the approach. We thought we could negotiate some kind of compromise like a Rebate or getting them to paint the mismatch. . They had no interest. Oh And they did not tell us that the amount of light the replacement windows would allow compared to our original windows was considerably reduced by much wider surrounding inside trim then the ones they were replacing
The only good thing was the installers were excellent. Careful, no mess, nice.
This company is NOT your friend. Save your money. Live with what you have, try to find a non chain local shop. Lesson learned. Run. Really.

From coming to give me a estimate and measuring my windows to getting my windows installed it was all done on a professional level. Guys were great and arrived on time and worked hard and got the job done. Cleaned up after the job was done. Awesome job. I would highly recommend window world and would hire them again. You will not be disappointed in the work they do.

Had great response, timeliness and professional service. Appreciated show up on scheduled times except one measurement schedule. That was 3 hrs late but appreciated show up. Enjoying my windows.....

Couldn't recommend them more highly. They took my money, and they put in new windows. Simple process, communicative staff, and a quick installation on the day.

We have had a lot of people come to do work on the house and this window installation was by far the easiest and best work yet. The installer was on time and professional. He cleaned up after himself and everything turned out wonderful. We have 15 windows replaced and it took one guy 1.5 days for the entire process!!!

This is my second time using Window World because they did such a fabulous job the first time. I now have had 11 windows replaced in my home, various kinds and some plain white in color and others with a wood grain color for the interior, and the installation has been meticulous, the windows have function perfectly, and the price is not to be beat. In addition, the folks I’ve dealt with have been so nice. Mark Colvin the sales person, Jose, the installer, Jessica and Amanda at the office. I couldn’t be happier with Window World, or their products.

Window World of Central Valley was responsive and professional from my initial contact with them right through the installation. Our new windows look beautiful and the price was competitive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs new windows.

My experience with Window World was less than pleasant. While the windows and doors were installed before their anticipated arrival time, I would have ultimately sought out another company. My French doors were installed with the wrong color and the team at Window World was quick to try and remedy the situation. They contacted a painter and had them coordinate with my work schedule to get that done. Unfortunately, the painting process was not exactly quick and resulted with me spending the majority of my day off hanging out letting them fix the issue. It was not exactly great to have cold air filling my home again as the doors needed to be open for hours as they painted and then dried. To be honest, I wasn’t totally impressed with it when they were finished. Additionally, the seals on the bottom and top of the French doors were not correct—cold air and dirt were able to come in rather easily. I contacted Window World and they again fixed that issue on a separate day.

I was then contacted if I thought the doors looked acceptable. My response was yes I guess, though I don’t believe I should be paying full price for a product that was incorrect, nor did they account for my time used for remedying their mistake. I voiced this with leadership and was asked how quickly they could come pick up a check for the remaining balance. Simply rude. My advice to those looking to have doors and windows replaced, look elsewhere. I would not recommend the service to be completed in Charlottesville. While everyone I spoke with was polite and understanding, I am left paying full price for a product that is not what I ordered. To me, this is distasteful, and I have shared my experience with those in my complex and colleagues at work.

This is the second time using Window world. Last year we had 10 windows replaced in an old, crooked house. This year we did the remaining 10. Jose installed them both times and did a fantastic job. He is a master and a true professional.

The Window World employees worked super quick and were incredibly professional and courteous. They arrived before I got home from work and moved furniture out of the way of the windows so my pregnant wife wouldn't have to. By the time I got home multiple windows were already replaced and they were quickly working on the others. One window did arrive broken, but they assured me they would immediately begin building me a new one and get it out as soon as possible.
I am beyond impressed with the speed and quality of the work they did, and highly recommend Window World.

Jose, the technician, showed up at the scheduled time, and did a fantastic job of installing the six replacement windows we had ordered. Jobsite was left clean, and Jose reviewed with me the work he had done, including some of the extra work he added in to make sure the windows were air and water tight.

This was my second home into which Window World installed windows for me, and I've been very please both times. One screen was slightly damaged and they came to repair that very quickly and efficiently. Best value on the market in my opinion.

From start to finish a great experience. The windows were done and installed 2 months earlier than thought. The salesman was thorough and helpful. The installer was fast, professional, and extremely good at installing windows. They look great and make my house look even better than I could have imagined. If I need more windows in the future I wouldn't use or refer anyone else...these guys are GREAT!

It took a long time for the manufacture of the windows and door, but once they were made, the office scheduled the install date, and were installed around the entire home in just a few hours.
I would highly recommend Window World.

First of all you shouldn't have to pay the balance until it rains ! We had our siding done by this company,a few days later it rained, we noticed a leak coming from the skylight in our bathroom, I contacted Don and told him about it. The first thing he said is we do siding, why would they be on the roof! Duh, they had to put siding up there overtop of the skylight! He said that he and his boss will come out in a couple days, with a drone, I said if a drone will show
where the leak is coming from, be my guest! A couple days past by, a no show! A couple more days we get heavy rain, the water is still dripping in the bathroom and on top of that, it's leaking in our living room, and it's coming down from several spots, I message Don, sent him pictures, and he said he would have someone out here ASAP! Never showed up! I will not call or text them again, but best believe there will be actions taking against this company!!!

I've used Window World in four remodeling projects and spent $thousands of dollars on them but the last one was with the Waynesboro VA REGIONAL OFFICE was an absolute disaster. They disregarded order specifications , delivered damaged products, made promises to remedy the problems but never did. I will never use them again in any future project. I recommend everyone avoid Window World - especially the Waynesboro Central Valley VA regional office.

Affordable upgrade on the windows in my 1960's rancher. Can finally open my windows to get fresh air and have lovely screens to keep bugs out. Nice and clean job. Thanks, Window World!

The installation crew worked consciously around me because I was teleworking from home….They were professional, quick, and cleaned up meticulously around the house and in a the yard….They get 5 stars and Brad is an excellent representative of Window World….Oh, the windows look great….two thumbs up….!!!

Showed up on time, did a great job and did it quickly. Took the time to show us all the functions of the windows. They are supposed to be replacing a window that came damaged.

Jose, the window installer worked by himself and finished 16 windows by 4:00. Jose was a "rock star"! He was very professional, quick, and very good at his job. We are pleased with the looks of the windows although they did steam up on the outside the first day, and they don't quite match our wood window frames. But I am overall pleased with the installation of the Window World Windows and they were absolutely the lowest prices that we were quoted. On a secondary note, we ordered these windows in January and just got them installed in the end of August.

The windows were replaced expertly. The installer was very efficient and friendly. The windows are good quality and have great features. Highly recommend Window World.
