The installers were courteous. The install of the panels was very smooth. The install manager took the time to make sure I understood what the app is all about. He came back after the job was done to meet with me for any questions or issues I was having. Helped with getting my older panels to communicate with its app. I would definitely recommend Solar Panels from Windmar.

We have received excellent workmanship on the install. Workers had to come back a few times for some issues and did troubleshoot, even staying late hours to resolve. Our only issue was with the communication of the office on executive side as there was disconnect on workers coming to resolve and scheduling issues. This is no reflection on the installers and technicians. The customer service office and senior leaders must improve on communication with client. Going based on review of workmanship alone, they deserve 5 stars.

Carlos and his team were outstanding. When install was completed, Carlos walked my through the entire Tesla app and explained every electrical box, switch and battery location and functionality. Highly recommmend this company.

Windmar no sirve. Los vendedores te dicen lo que no es y te ocultan información. Luego cuando tienes placas, te avisan que por las tardes y noches no debes usar la luz para que Luma no te cobren. Dicen que te pagan los tres primeros meses en lo que comienza la medición neta y luego estás a tu suerte. Eso de pagar $4 mensuales de Luma es una mentira. Llevamos con placas más de 8 meses y ni una vez la factura de Luma ha bajado a $4 y este mes vino el doble, más el pago mensual de las placas. No esojan Windmar, no sirven. Y las demás compañías de placas solares, funcionan casi igual. Ojo

Carlos was very polite and helpful with the inspection. We had a little issue with having some documents and he was able to get everything in order to get the job finished.

I purchased a complete solar backup system for my home to the tune of $100,000. Since it was installed 2 years ago, it has never worked properly. I have lost count of how many times I have needed to call customer service, to then wait for a service team to come to my house to fix it whenever there is a power outage. Recently, the entire customer service team is now located in a call center in Bogota, Colombia. Aside from the language barrier, the staff is poorly trained and makes you wait in excess of 40 minutes to tell you to wait for them to call you. It's an absolute joke. When I purchased the system one of the selling points was the promise of customer service, backup and maintenance. Now I feel swindled, disenfranchised and stuck with these stupid solar panels. I guess Windmar wanted to save money by moving their operations to Colombia, but the team there is painfully unaware and out of the loop with the situation on the ground in Puerto Rico. They have no idea how to help you or give you answers. If Windmar wanted to save that much money they should have just created a voicemail box for customers. The biggest money mistake you will make is trusting Windmar Home.

I want to thank you and recommend Carlos Acevedo, he has been the best and only at the company that works from dusk to night, he is always available 24/7 for anything that you have concerns. I cannot thank you enough for all the amazing service rendered at my house. People like him should be receiving more recognition. Thank you thank you thank you!

Mi experiencia con Windmar ha sido terrible. El 17 de febrero enviaron unos técnicos para realizar un sellado en el techo, pero no sé qué hicieron porque ese mismo día me quedé sin luz mientras trabajaban. He llamado varias veces y, a pesar de que ya han pasado dos semanas, el problema sigue sin resolverse. Aún hay áreas de mi casa sin electricidad. ¡No los recomiendo en absoluto!

It was a very professional team of workers. Very knowledgeable and a very clean job. "CLEAN AS YOU GO" technique.

They did not fully disclose the lease agreement; They only tell you the first year, how the payment would look like. Once everything is done. They will send you an updated schedule. The lease agreement gradually increase over the course of 25 years which eventually goes up to double the amount of what the sales rep told you.

Le venden una batería a una persona de la tercera edad, no le funciona en su hogar y no aceptan devolución, tiene que pagarla y tenerla en una esquina osea creo que es injusto. Si un artículo no funciona seamos justos es una cantidad de dinero grande para algo sin uso. Tienen una cláusula de no devolución bajo ningún concepto y eso no es justo!! Ojo con eso. Yo me comuniqué con la compañía y les expliqué y su respuesta fue el tiene que pagarla, no dan alternativa, no lo veo bien.

Contract done July and Installed November 2024. 8 months later, Still NOT ready to use, and we keep getting the run around. Multiple Friends got installed months after us are up and running w zero issue. Still no answers other than waiting on the city and LCEC. Finally spoke with the city and LCEC and they said they still don't have the proper documentation from the solar company to get it all hooked up. I originally put a review last year thinking my experience then would be the full experience w the company and we were wrong. It seems no one cares and they just keep selling and not worried about us. Just frustrated.

Bueno llevo como 4meses esperando y me montaron las placas y todo el equipo pero no a contador por qué no se que problema hay así que paso temporada huracanes y gracias a Dios no vino ninguno ahora yo tengo que ir a luma para que me resuelva lo de windmar que ironía sigo sin el servicio de windmar pero tengo luz gracias a luma.lo muchachos que vinieron todos buenos y trabajadores y eso que la vendedora dijo que instalaban en 24 horas.todo el sistema (falso)
Bueno ella me enamoro y convenció y aquí estoy todavía esperando a pesar promesas no cumplidas.

The solar installation crew were respectful and picked up debris at the end of each day. They have a very physically demanding job -thank you gentlemen. Their supervisor, Carlos, is knowledgeable, considerate, and took his time to answer my questions. Windmar - this is the type of employee who merits a promotion in the future.

Hasta hoy antes de Ernesto todo ha sido miel sobre hojuelas. Ahora es que por primera vez tengo inconvenientes con el sistema y no dudo que el equipo de servicio de WindMar Home me habrá de resolver.

No recomiendo el servicio de Roofing de Windmar, en el proceso de instalación cortaron por error un cable del Internet, desconectaron un aire, dejaron el reguero de los residuos de la máquina de presión en todo el alrededor, dejaron caer producto del techo en el carro del vecino, no colocaron un toldo a tiempo para evitar filtraciones al dejar el techo crudo, taparon los desagües, no removieron la cinta adhesiva (tape) que colocan en el borde de la residencia para proteger la pintura y sometieron la documentación a Sunnova como que el trabajo estaba terminado aún cuando los papeles del trabajo no han sido firmados y hay dos filtraciones en la marquesina. El vendedor vende muy bien, el producto supuestamente es bueno y la garantía es bien atractiva pero el proceso es bien desagradable. El servicio al cliente es hostil, falto de empatía y no ofrecen soluciones reales y mis quejas a través de email, teléfono y directo con la supervisión ha sido estéril.

Windmar installed solar panels at Mom's house on June 28th and to this date, system has not been connected. Awaiting electric company to remove lock on meter so that Windmar's electrican can perform a task needed to connect system. I have been calling Windmar to get an update and still no news. Need help...my Mom is 90 years old.

Tengo una queja sobre Windmar Home. El personal de esta Compañía estuvo llevando a cabo la instalación de unas placas solares y un tratamiento en la Urbanización San Antonio en Caguas. Esto fue una verdadera tortura para los vecinos ya que todo el sucio que removieron nunca lo limpiaron. Fui donde los empleados para decirle que si pensaban limpiar todo eso porque lo estamos entrando a nuestras marquesinas en las gomas de los vehículos. Comenzaron a burlarse y entonces todos los días durante dos semanas dejaban todo ese sucio bajar por la cuneta y cuando salía a barrer toda esta suciedad los empleados comenzaban a reírse en tono de burla. Recomiendo que no contraten esta compañía para que así no tengan problemas con sus vecinos porque son unos puercos.

Installers guys were very diligent and sharp. They start at 8am sharp, at the end of the day clean and make sure all everything was left or better before Leaving. They were in constant communication with us letting us know what they were doing.
I had a great experience with the installers. A separate review will be done for the sales department which it a different experience.
