We needed a new roof on our home and received multiple bids. William and his team at Wilsea Construction stood out from day one. I could tell they were very professional and knew what they were talking about. The work they performed on our home exceeded our expectations and we are beyond happy with how everything turned out. William's team is very friendly and hard working and they definitely know what they're doing. I would highly recommend them to anyone and won't hesitate to hire them again if needed.

Will and his team replaced our roof and some damage to the structure underneath it. His team was quick, responsive, professional, hard-working and did a high quality job. In fact, during one of the days they worked on the roof from dawn, I was impressed by their commitment to get that portion done that day! Would definitely recommend them to others wanting a roof replacement.

William and his team were incredible! They helped us with a flat roof with 2 skylights, metal roof with 2 sun tunnels and a new section of metal roof. They worked extended hours to help us get sealed in before the rain came! William also came back to help with a flashing when exterior siding team had an issue. Construction is never tons of fun, but when Wilsea did our reroofing we were impressed from the initial call through the final and very thorough clean up. William explained every option and product and checked in frequently to see if we had issues or questions. Elisio and the crew were professional, on time and did excellent work. The materials they used were as good or better than the highest quote I was given! The workers were punctual, professional, fast and they did an extremely good job. The job site was clean after the work every day and they communicated well with me about progress and completion time. Wilsea Construction provided me with the best possible service I could expect. They installed a new beautiful roof and gutters. The owner arrived right on time for the estimate. He was more thorough than the previous 3 bidders. His price was second from lowest yet I went with him because he was very honest and believable. He did not try to up-sell me on anything I did not need. His crew arrived on the day and exact time as promised. The crew was conscientious about my plants as they protected them all. I felt very comfortable with his crew to work while my family was home. For five straight days the crew took exactly one break each day. They were also flexible to repair facia boards at my request at the last minute. I come from a family-owned construction company and I have never been this impressed from begging to end of a home repair and know how rare this service level is to achieve. William, Eliseo, and his crew did a fantastic job and completed our garage roof in 1 day! We were impressed with their quality of work, safety, and punctuality. Had to delay our project due to COVID but they were very responsive and communicative throughout. Will definitely consider them for other projects in the future.

The attention to detail was incredible. We were kept informed about the project as it progressed., a challenge with the Covid. We had some major water damage and the restoration work was better than we could have hoped for. The new deck and roof are amazing and the quality of the workmanship is truly highest quality!

Wilsea Construction (WC) came recommended through our roofing contractor. We had some wood rot on our two balconies, and the decking material was tar down, which is not meant to be walked on. WC removed the tar down, regraded the slope of the balconies, installed new waterproof decking, rebuilt our railings, and added cap metal to increase the lifespan of the posts. William was very clear in his communication; I felt like I knew what was happening every step of the way without being overwhelmed. His clear communication extended to his invoices. They were detailed, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. The WC team was also very adaptable: when we added some electrical work, they juggled their schedule for us. Wilsea worked hard on our project, showed up early and worked into the evening. They were also very clean, and kept things covered which helped keep our kids away. Note that when we contacted WC, they were booked out for a while, so get on their schedule early. I highly recommend WC and would definitely use them in the future.

We have a 45 year old home with a flat car decking roof with some interesting challenges. After three tar roofs we got tired of the leaks so decided to replace it with a PVC type roof. I got half a dozen quotes including one from Wilsea Construction. William was recommended from one of the other contractors who was unable to bid on the project. We asked for two bids from each, one for a straight flat roof and one that sloped the water away. Half the contractors were not interested in the sloped bid. William's bid was not the lowest but I have learned never to take the lowest bid anyway. I met with each contractor when they came out to take measurements. William was very knowledgeable and thorough and an enjoyable person to talk to. I narrowed my selection down to two contractors but still had some questions. I asked William if he could stop by and he came right out. After going over my questions with him and chatting for a bit, there was no question about who I was going to go with. We signed the contract right there. I still didn't quite understand how he was going to tackle the challenges but I trusted he knew how.

We were put into his work queue and he said it would be in the October time frame. To replace a flat roof in October is usually not a good idea so I asked him if he could possibly arrange a little earlier time frame. He came back with a scheduled week that was just a few weeks away. That was great except we were not going to be home that week. I was ok with that as long as he was so I gave him a key to our house (don't think I would have done that with the other contractors) and we left for our family vacation. During that week there was a mix of rainy and sunny days. According to our neighbors, William and his crew worked their buns off, even working the weekend to get the job done. And unlike our previous tar roof contractors, they did not compromise the job by working hard. We had WiFi where we were and William shared pictures of the project with us. After tearing the old roof off William discovered some rotten car decking and replaced it all. He even patched up an external beam that was rotted to make it look nice. A part of the project was to replace the entire fascia boards. William asked for the color and he stained all the boards. He even stained the car decking boards that were replaced. We also needed our chimney flashing replaced and his crew did an excellent job on that too. We came home after the job was finished and you could not tell that anyone had been around the house. Everything was clean and left exactly as it was before. I crawled up on the roof to see how he handled the challenges and was very much surprised and pleased. No doubt William has experience and a creative mind to solve any challenge a roof could offer.

I firmly believe that William treated our house as if it was his. I liked that William's company is a family business and believe that they care more about your family home than some large company. I will highly recommend Wilsea Construction to anyone who asks.

Willam and his team did an incredible job replacing my roof on my house and detached garage. (2500sqft plus 1100sqft)

He came in lower than the competitors without any need for negotiating. He responded faster than anyone else and presented his quote accurately and within 48 hours of completing measurements and verifying supply costs. At no time did the numbers change, and he even brought to my attention a few issues on my home that I was previously unaware of.

All in all, I referred him to family and remain proud of the work he did for me. A metal roof is not an inexpensive investment, but it satisfying to get exactly what you expected and paid for with a timely installation.

William and his team did a great job on our new home, workshop, and well house. His professionalism and communication goes above and beyond industry standards. This is the second home he has done for me, and I will continue to use him in the future.

I had some roof damage from a recent wind storm and needed the roof to be assessed and repaired. A well rated contractor recommended Wilsea. William responded the same day and had one of his crew out that day to take a look. The assessment showed that the roof only needed a repair and we were able to get it scheduled within days. WIlliam's crew was on time and friendly, had to job completed quickly, and cleaned up when they left. I received multiple calls before, during, and after the repair from William, and a follow-up assessment on the roof along with pictures. All in all, working with Wilsea was a good experience.

I needed a new roof, was interested in metal, and was directed to Wilsea by another roofer.

Will gave me quotes for both composition and metal after walking the roof and listening to my concerns. His quote was lower and quicker than the other quote and he was willing to adjust for and talk me through the options I wanted.

Note that things are pretty busy right now in construction, so I had to wait a bit. But once my turn came up and the manufacturer fabricated the roofing Will and his crew worked long hours to get the old roof off and new roof on.

He not only fixed my areas of concern, at no extra cost he fixed issues that were damaging siding, doing more than I expected to make the roof protect the rest of the house. Been raining for a week now since installation was completed, inside is dry and the outside looks good.

Very professional. William did a wonderful job explaining the differences between roofing options and why the material he and his team used is superior. Then the installers did an amazing job on our new PVC flat roof. It looks amazing. The mess was kept very contained during the single day of demo and they were careful to avoid our landscaped beds. Clean up couldn't have been better. They even used heavy magnets to pick up any remaining nails/ objects out of our lawn. It looks terrific. Workers were on-time and completed ahead of schedule. All workers were very nice as well. There were no hidden costs. The proposal price was exactly what we paid.

Reliable, showed up when they said they would, job was timely done. Really enjoyed working with Will. Would hire again. I'm confident my roof is going to last a very long time!

Wilsea construction recently replaced my old roof. William did an excellent job at educating me on the process and materials. He was willing to negotiate his fee to stay competitive with other bids. The crew that did the work were polite, efficient and did an excellent job. They communicated with me throughout the 2 days that they were here and did a great job of cleaning up after each day. I am extremely pleased with my new roof!

William was extremely easy to work with and really took the time to walk through and explain what he and his crew would be doing. He was not the cheapest of my quotes, however he was very competitive. What really sold me was how comfortable he made me feel about the whole project. There ended up being a little plywood damage that he was willing to replace free of charge. My project came in right on the quote and actually earlier than originally expected. We had William out this past summer for an estimate on a metal re- roof t - he was prompt, friendly, thorough and clearly very experienced. He even noticed a few issues that the other big co's we had estimates from didn't - and his quote was FAR less than theirs. We selected him to do the work and he and his team put our new roof on this past November... the crew was prompt, worked hard and fast, were all polite and cleaned up the site completely every night. We are super happy with our new roof - it looks amazing and haven't had any problems at all. I highly recommend William and Wilsea Construction!

The search for a roofer to install a new metal roof was not easy. Lots of calls to roofers who either didn't install metal or were too busy. I was pretty surprised when John Michael (#1 recommended roofer on Yelp) called me back. Not because he had the time but because he wanted to recommend another roofer! Seriously, how often does this happen?
William of WilSea Construction and his crew are just great. All estimates, bids and contracts were completely clear. William followed up on every detail. When the roofing material was delayed, he let me know right away.

We obtained three bids for re-roofing our home. Two came up lower and about equal in price. Winter rain leaks had become an issue with our roof and our concern was for long term structural damage and deterioration. Owner William Mejia assured us all issues would be identified and fixed. The problem areas were identified, shown to us and ultimately repaired at no additional expense. Wilsea Construction is basically a family run business. Easy to work with, hard working, totally friendly and very efficient at getting the job completed in three days.Clean up also was very thorough and much appreciated. We're completely happy with our experience and would recommend their business to anyone.

I needed a section of PVC membrane roofing replaced. It had been removed during a remodel that changed the roofline. I met with several other roofing company estimators before selecting William of Wilsea Construction. From the initial contact through to the final clean-up the experience was exceptional. The communication was excellent and work was done on time. It is very apparent that William and his crew truly care about the quality of their work. William and crew replaced my flat roof with PVC membrane which included flashing for my chimney and some additional ventilation which had been covered decades ago during a poor torch-down installation. The crew was on schedule, cleaned up everyday, and communicated every detail when needed. I would definitely hire him a again. Good people!

William recently roofed our house. Although it was not the lowest bid, it was very competitive. When we compared the details of all the bids, his was the most thorough. We spoke with him directly during the bid process and he was patient and willing to work around our schedules. The roof was completed on time and they did fantastic work. There are so many roofing companies out there and it can be a little overwhelming, but Wisea did quality work and every phase of the process was smooth and pleasant with Wilsea.

I had several companies come in for an estimate. William and Wilsea were the most professional. They had the best plan to reroof the flat roof. The work was done right on schedule. William was very accommodating with my situation. The finished work is looking great. The neighbors already asked for referrals. It hasn't rained since the job was finished, but I bet it will be no problem at all. Definitely recommend Wilsea for flat roof reroofing.

I highly recommend Wilsea Construction. I'm not sure if a better experience is possible when you're a new home owner dealing with a leaky roof. When we noticed some wet drywall I called 3 roofers that were recommended to me. While Wilsea wasn't the cheapest (or most expensive), William gave me the most comprehensive list of repairs that were needed and the best option for replacement (no one else mentioned several issues that I knew existed from the inspection report). The biggest factor was that I felt comfortable with William and that he would do the job correctly.
After hiring him to complete the job, his crew was out to my house within a week. They left no trace that anyone had even been there but a barely noticeable roof patch (they did a great job matching the color), several correctly installed, high-quality vents and two perfectly clear, beautiful, new skylights.
Since then, we have had a lot of rain and not one bit of water inside the house! We are very happy with the service and quality of work we received from Wilsea Construction.
