Aza from Mt Goat Roofing stopped by to assess my old roof and was very punctual, professional and courteous. After he had time to assess the roof he came down and pleasantly surprised me with the fact that my roof is still in decent shape and gave me his professional assessment and how he came up with that decision and also some suggestions on how to maintain it to help it reach its full longevity. As I had already had assessment done that recommended full replacement and was in scramble to book numerous estimates and stressing about the costs, this was truly the best news and such a relief. I will definitely be contacting Aza in a few years ( hopefully in 5 if luck is with me) when it’s time for the actual replacement. He truly made my day

I did some research for roofing companies when I needed to replace my roof and got several bids. I've been impressed with Mountain Goat Roofing since Aza came for an inspection and to give me a quote. He is a very nice and honest person who impressed me with his knowledge and their track record. I felt very confident that they will do an outstanding job and their pricing was very reasonable and in line with the other quotes I got.
The crew that did the replacement was also very considerate of my property and did not leave any mess behind. They took extra care to protect my newer concrete driveway and worked quickly and professionaly.
MGR even replaced the solar tube domes on my roof with new ones (old ones had visible signs of ageing), fixed some other issues around the chimney, painted the exhaust vent for my furnace to match the new roof, etc.
I am quite a picky person but they want beyond my (high) expectations and delivered in spades. My roof looks awesome and I have confidence that it was properly installed and it will last a long time! I heartily recommend this company for anybody needing to replace their roof!

Mountain Goat Roofing replaced our roof in 2018. We were impressed with the crew and the workmanship. When we developed a small leak around a vent, the owner came out himself on a Sunday to cauk it. A few years later, this month (October 2023) it started to leak again. They sent someone out to replace the defective vent free of charge. They stand by their work and are responsive if issues arise. Mountain Goat was one of five bids we got and I'm very happy we picked them. They did excellent work with respect and cleanliness. We had the whole roof redone with a higher-end selection from CertainTeed along with new sheathing on the whole house due to mold. I made a few particular requests that were all satisfied wonderfully. After they finished, I found a few details as a 'punch list' and they had them all fixed by 10am the next morning. Really excellent.

Aza from Mountain Goat came out for an estimate. Unfortunately they don't do the type of roofing my nearly flat roof requires, but he was still extremely knowledgeable and kind. He gave me a bunch of information to consider as well as referrals to roofers who would be able to help.

I cannot speak to their roofing. But their driving is terrible. They drive through my neighborhood in their trucks too fast. When I waved at one (a Ford Ranger) to slow down, the driver flipped me off and roared away. Do they know that the company logo and phone number is written on the truck? Not smart or neighborly. I live close to their office and see this driving all the time.

From our first phone call I was very impressed by Aza and his professionalism and personability. Aza meets with you and is the one contacting you throughout the process of working together. He emails and calls you in a very timely and reliable way. Aza and his crew did solid work and finished the project during the holidays. Our yard was well cared for and our neighbors agreed the crew was lovely to talk to. Choosing people to work on your home and make such a big investment can be intimidating. I was in a jam with my roof, and Aza came out and talked me through what needed to be done to fix the issue, but when I realized I needed help, he made some calls and got a crew out to help very quickly. Jimmy, Josè and Aza not only fixed the mess up, but put the whole roof down! The roof looks great now, and I am super pleased. I got a couple bids but was turned off by salesmen full of hype who didn't really know roofing. Asa Cline of Mountain Goat Roofing actually looked at my current roof and said sensible things. His crew were on time, courteous, fast, and did a totally great job.

We had Mountain Goat Roofing re-roof our house 20 years ago. We had 2 layers of shingles and one layer of shakes - probably dating back 90 years when the house was originally built. They stripped everything down to the rafters and started fresh. I watched them work and saw them doing things that, as a homeowner I would have never known they had done had I not seen it for myself, and could see that their first concern was doing a quality job. When they left, I could find no evidence of them having been here, no damaged plants, no shingles and not even any nails. 20 years later I call them again to repair a hole left over from the removal of something that had passed through the roof line. They had taken the time to look up the specialty shingles they had used the first time and found that the manufacturer had been bought by another company and found the new company's replacement shingles. Once again, not only can I find no evidence of them having been in my yard, but I cannot see any evidence that the roof has been patched. I'm sure glad 20 years ago I didn't believe the hype of the big roofing players in our area and found this honest and professional company.

Super happy with my new roof from Mountain Goat Roofing! Professional from start to finish. Three weeks after getting an estimate I had a new roof. Workers were quiet and respectful of property and garden, and left the place looking the way they found it. Aza is VERY knowledgeable and really seems to take pride in the work they do. Highly recommended!

Owner does estimate and it was detailed with a list of roofs they did in my area. On time, About 6 week wait to start job. Workers professional and courteous. Roof looks great as do both new skylights. About 9000.00 for simple roof. No surprises on cost. Highly recommended over some larger roofing businesses.

Roof sways and is visibly an eye soar. Inspector came out and never suggested straightening rafters if needed. He only stopped by for a brief moment while workers were putting it up and no one checked or asked us if crooked rafters would be ok. We asked about the obvious sway after roof was completed and the issue was skirted to being our fault, even though they saw our original roof during the inspection, prior to construction, and during construction with the roof ripped off. Now gutter companies and other people ask me who did our roof and I say Mountain Goat Roofing and the reply is, “Wow, we won’t go through them then!” It would have been easy work, and we would have been happy to pay the difference. Instead, we’re left with a crooked roof and not even an extra discount. I’ll never go through them or recommend them again.

UPDATE: We had a minor issue with our wood stove pipe that caused water to come down on the inside of our house. I called Aza within a hour or so he was out at our house and fixed the problem. We love our new roof and how well it turned out.
We needed to replace our 30 year old asphalt shingle roof and detached garage. It's not an easy house due to having a flat roof in the back part of our home and a odd front porch.
After having several roofers who came out and gave basic estimates we were getting flustered. A friend suggested Aza who'd done his roof and he was very pleased with the finished product. Anyhow after setting up a time Aza arrived to give us his advice on what our home needed, that was the end of all the other companies, my husband and I were sold with how knowledgeable, very patient, and extremely friendly with us and all our questions we had.

It didn't take long from start to finish to re-roof our home, 2 1/2 days to be exact. His crew is well mannered young men, who worked with us on every aspect, even down to the details of keeping my planters and plants safe and daily clean up.

One more big detail we loved about this company how he had a list of homes we could look at to see how the colors of the shingles would look. That was a bonus, if I'd picked the color I thought my husband and I liked would of regretted it.

They did my roof four tears ago. Still very gappy. I was super surprised by how thorough they were. I don't think a single stray nail was left behind. It looks great, price was great and they finished faster than they thought. It was also very low stress and I appreciate them.

Mountain Goat Roofing has the best costumer service of any company I know of. The care and time they take with each one shows their commitment to quality workmanship and integrity. I’ve recommended them for years and when my own mother needed a new roof in a hurry they had the best estimate out of several companies. The work was done in a timely fashion and they did all the clean up. The new roof looks fantastic and best of all it doesn’t leak or allow pests to get into the attic. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the job Mountain Goat Roofing did. My mom had a heart attack and while she was in the hospital my sisters and I discovered her house had fallen into disrepair as her health had deteriorated. The roof was a goner. We got three bids. The bid provided by mountain goat roofing not only had a better price but included higher quality materials than the competitor bids and better warranty terms.
