I had Westchester Roofing Group replace a very old roof. They came and gave an estimate that was fairly priced with the caveat that they didn’t know what was underneath and gave a pricing that covered all possibilities. They were true to their word on their pricing and were SUPER professional. They were very hard workers, very skilled, cleaned up every day, and completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time. Luis the owner was at the site frequently, answered all my questions and had many knowledgable suggestions. I interviewed a number of roofers to do the work but chose Weatchester Roofing Group because of their professional presentation and knowledge, and I wasn’t disappointed as they were professional all the way to the final walkthrough. I strongly recommend their work.

We use Luis and this company for almost everything indoors and outdoors - they did a wonderful job fixing the holes in our roof. They have also come by for other jobs and recommended great associates for electrical, carpentry, and other work. They are flexible, affordable, and do a great job.

We spoke to a range of roofers with various ideas and offerings and likewise prices. Westchester provided some good ideas regarding the roof and how it could be improved and was also conscious of cost. At the end of the day the price was in the middle but I am confident that they did a good job on the roof. It has been several months so far. And their customer service and attention to details was there through out. Very conscientious of cleaning u after them. No roofing materials strewn here and there. Quite meticulous. A good job at a good price.

Terrible service . When my family and I moved into our home we made a deal with Luis and he wrote down everything that was supposed to be done to our home . There were supposed to install vents, paint a wall in my attic, insulate my attic, paint some other parts of my home along with a few other things . Luis charged us $5000 for the job . We paid him $3500 up front and he only painted my living room . He never did any of the other work and proceeded to lie to us and tell us that the vents were installed and that the attic was insulated. When we checked nothing was done and then he ghosted us . I WOULD NOT HIRE THESE UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE AT ALL . They are thieves and scammers . Watch out !

Last month, April 2025, we had an excellent job done by the Westchester Roofing Group (WRG) in replacing our roof, repointing our chimney and creating a ventilation setup through our soffit to extend the life of the new roof beyond industry standard timeframes. In the beginning of this effort, we were very satisfied with our discussions with Luis, owner, and his son, Gustavo about the work they would be doing and what would be inlcuded in their estimate. They were very clear and everything was in layman's terms. We were further encouraged by the fact that the Westchester Roofing Group is GAF Certified and the products met GAF standards. In fact our roofing shingles were GAF HDZ. Once the contract was signed, soon the work began. It took the WRG team three days from start to finish with a great cleanup as if they were never here. The WRG on-site work team under Stalin and Gus' leadership, like Luis and Gustavo, were especially professional, friendly and responsive to any questions we had or "other things" that arose during the work. The team was also timely in starting and finishing their work each day including the cleanups. We are especially pleased with their work and the outcome of our roof project. One of the things that we liked a lot was the on-going photos that they took of the project that we could see later -- a real good "bfore" and "after." If you are looking or needing your roof to be replaced and related work done, we would highly recommend the WESTCHESTER ROOF GROUP.

I needed a new roof and three former layers had to removed. After shopping around, I used Westchester Roofing Group, whose quote was the most reasonable. Luis came by and discussed everything with me. He was fantastic to work with and his crew was excellent....they were always neat, friendly and polite, but most importantly they were efficient and did an excellent job. Even after they were paid in full, Luis came by and wanted to double check everything and make sure I was pleased. I certainly was and recommend them highly. If you want to do yourself a favor, you should at least contact them before making any final decisions.

The job was unable to be completed as scheduled due to rain and they quickly communicated the re-scheduling date and time to me. I needed to have my roof inspected and also wanted an estimate on getting a new roof if needed

After contacting Westchester Roofing, the owner Luis contacted me the same Day and i made an appointment with him 2 Days later

He was prompt on his arrival and was very professional, he inspected my roof also took photos while on my roof.

He said i have at least 3/5 years left on my existing roof he did not push for me to get a new roof at this time, because it was not needed.

I was so impressed with his professionalism i felt like i had to leave this review.

It goes without saying he is my new roofer and when i need a new roof i will be contacting him.

Fantastic company and cannot recommend using Westchester Roofing Group enough. From our initial meeting with Luis, Gustavo and their team, we were impressed by the honesty and directness in letting us know potential additional costs due to the age of our roof. This allowed us to have an eyes-wide open approach to our quote and we were never surprised when the work was being done on our roof.

They installed our new roof in December during an especially cold week and right before the holidays. LGZ had to fix a nightmare caused by the faulty installation by Numat Fence of Specrail aluminium railing on exterior steps. Numat had used the wrong cement which caused all 14 posts to split. The job entailed removing all of the railing, replacing 7 bluestone steps that were cracked, repairing granite, installing new posts and replacing the railing. They were able to do this by reusing the existing railing, saving us the cost of an entire new system. Another company said it couldn't be done, but Luis said he could and he did.

Luis is a professional! Whatever concerns I had were met beyond my expectations. My new roof & gutters look great! I have just hired LGZ again to assist with a water leak in my basement. He looked everything over and came up with a solution to the problem at a reasonable price.

We have a new roof replacement and sidings done by LGZ company. They have done a very nice job of installing new cement board sidings. They wrapped around the house and install new PVC window trims. They came out to be really nice. They also did the nice job on the roof. They installed soffit for better ventilation, fascia, and rafter with PVC. They did the nice cooper flashing around the chimney. Luis is honest and delivered the work as promised. I highly recommend anyone looking for the work.

I own a 100 year old Tudor. Every window trim , soffit , fascia had wood rot. I reached out to Luis from LGZ after a roof leak. He responded immediately and fixed my leak. I told him to repair my entire exterior (a 6 week job). His work is superb. He fixed all my problems and brought a 100 year old house back to life. True professional at his job. LGZ uses high end materials and does not take short cuts.

A few months ago,a branch crashed through our roof. I thought we’d need to file an insurance claim and possibly replace the entire roof over our den. My wife had been encouraging me to consider getting a new roofer, so I used this as an “ opportunity “ to seek out some new contractors. Fortunately for me and our roof, I met Luis Zhunio, the owner of LGZ Construction . Luis examined our roof and first told us the good news! We didn’t need to file an insurance claim, to fix the hole . That was a pretty inexpensive job. However, he showed me that our roof wasn’t properly vented and as a result the shingles were disintegrating. He felt we really needed to address this immediately. Luis replaced the roof and added the proper venting.I took photos and posted them with my review. In late October snd early November, Luis returned to replace and rebuild the roof of the rest of our house as well as our garage. The work he and his crew did was exceptional! If you ever need a roofer who really is dedicated to providing you with a great roof, you have to hire LGZ Construction.
