Weatherize Alaska

Fantastic work. I'm extremely happy with the spray insulation that they added to a remodel project and in my crawlspace. I would highly recommend Ryan and his crew.

Summer Of 2017 I had weatherization Alaska install vapor barrier in crawl space and fill the duct holes with their system. The surfaces in my house over a year and half later are still covered with dust and material used to fill the duct holes. The work was not done properly. They made a huge mess while doing their work, had no supplies for protecting flooring and corners when bringing in their equipment. Broke a light fixture in crawl space and left it hanging, scratched my dining room table when using it for their work with no protection. (Did not fix either) Very poor quality control — left some ducts covered. Every day that I wipe down counters and tables and have the same dirty dust I am reminded how poor their work was and probably a total waste of money to pay them to seal ducts as it all seems to be blowing out. Worst contractor to ever do work in my house. The only thing they did do well was the actual install of vapor barrier and insulation - but I know nothing about how it should be so that is just an assumption. Their process to do it was a disaster. Staff unsupervised.

This is the absolute worst company ever! I would not recommend them if they were the last company on earth. Completely disorganized, horrible customer service, and horrible service in general. We hired them to spray foam our downstairs, pretty simple job, they came the first day, couldn't finish so they came back a second day. After walking through our downstairs we immediately noticed that the foam was cracking and separating from the walls and in some areas had completely separating off the wall and could be easily peeled off. We called to let them know and we were told they had never seen this and the issue was a bad batch of foam. Now over a year later we are still having the same issue and it has been next to impossible to get a date or time for someone to fix the problem. Today is the 6th time they have been at our house to fix this issue, they showed up late and then didn't have the needed materials so they left telling us they would be right back. 2 hours later we finally called and were told that all their employees were working another job and they can't get back to us until later today, meanwhile we have taken off day after day from work and it has shown to be a complete waste of time. Every time someone was supposed to come back and fix the ordinal issue they never did leaving entire rooms completely untouched and then claiming they didn't know that the rooms needed to be redone as well. Honestly not worth the headache, we never get our phone calls returned, the owner or supervisors never make themselves available to even oversee the work their employees are doing or try to rectify the situation.
