Fire and Mold repaired a mold problem for me. Jerry Monaco was an incredible person to deal with. They did a thorough and careful job repairing the problem which was extensive. He was really helpful to me. When I discovered my insurance wouldn't cover any of the repair, he adjusted the price to make it more affordable for me to do the work. In an unprecedented temperature change in February 2023, we had a monumental disaster from significant cracks and ruptures of both a water main and sprinkler main eruption that disrupted a multi-tenanted commercial building. We weren't the only ones in the city, the county, and even in the state. After calling some of the larger remediation companies, who to this day never returned our call, Water Fire Mold came through that very same day. They were calm, collected, honest, and communicative throughout the entire process. They got the work done in rapid fashion and it was done respectful of the various affected tenants. We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with through the stressful disaster. There is a reason why you buy or use the services of local companies, and Water Fire Mold epitomized this. I cannot say enough great things about Water Fire Mold. Jerry, Mary Lee, and their team are the best in the business - they are quick to respond, highly professional, and, most importantly, they truly care about helping their customers. This is the second time we have had to reach out for assistance - the first time for a leak and wet spot in our ceiling caused by a plumbing defect, and this time for a broken pipe that partially flooded our basement. In both instances, Jerry and Mary Lee had someone come out to our house first thing the following morning (as both were late at night - although I am sure if it was an extreme emergency they wouldn't have hesitated to get someone out right away!) to take a look at the issue and install equipment to dry up the water and make sure there was no further damage. Water Fire and Mold is an absolutely amazing company. Jerry worked around my busy schedule and took time out of his to explain every step of the process from the insurance claim to how to deal with contractors.

The demo team showed up on time and worked so efficiently that they finished in one day (I had to have my whole bathroom floor ripped up and my kitchen ceiling ripped up as well). They didnt leave a mess and took everything with them. All of the people working on demo were extremely helpful. They also left industrial strength blowers and dehumidifiers to help dry everything out for a few days.

A few days later I came home to my kitchen flooded. I immediately called Jerry in a panic and he dropped everything he was doing (out at dinner and the food had just arrived) and drove an hour to help me, only to find out it had nothing to do with him. He then helped me find an emergency plumber to fix the issue.

If I had chosen any other company, I would not be as prepared nor supported. The job doesnt finish for WFM when they demo, the job finishes when you’re living in your home again. I cannot speak their praises enough. You will not regret calling them.

WF&M did mold mitigation and asbestos testing. Jerry has a great sales personality, a trait which is not always accompanied by great and honest service, but in this case it was. His crew was punctual and polite, Jerry came on site to make sure the job was being done right, and made my options, service updates and the reality of mold mitigation clear. What impressed me most is that after the job was finished he readily advised me and referred me to contractors when I called him for guidance.

Absolute professionals. I was in a jam, I had my house under contract to sell and the buyer found mold in the attic during inspection. I needed it remediated immediately and professionally or the buyer was going to back out. I got a call from the owner within hours after contacting them and he came out to the house within 24 hours. He explained everything to me, showed me the testing, and quoted me a fair price that was lower than others I spoke too. They began work immediately and were completely done the following the day.

The best part was Jerry provided a remediation report that was very professional and thorough. I was able to provide this to the buyer and it saved the deal. He even provided a a two year guarantee that was transferrable to the new owners. He went the extra mile and even got on the phone with the buyer’s broker and explained what he had done and eased their concerns.

We own a multifamily unit. Our first floor tenant had informed us about mold in the bathroom. I had contacted Jerry to come out and he came out that day. Jerry was a life saver when it came to the water damage that was turning into we found in our home. When we called he came right over within an hour to take a look for us, and within a week he had our problem taken care of! Very friendly staff, and they work very clean. There is nothing like seeing water leaking in your basement. My sump pump failed last week. I called Jerry and his team, they were at my house within 20 minutes! They came with all I needed to contain the problem until the plumber could arrive 2 days later. When the problem was fixed they also treated my basement for mold. They cleaned the area and it was like nothing ever happened. Lets just say if I ever have another problem I know who to call.

I highly recommend Water Fire and Mold because I have never experienced such great customer service in the past. From the first day when Jerry came to our home I could automatically tell that he understood our situation. He was sympathetic and treated it as though it was his own home. Recently we encountered a small mold spot in the ceiling of our laundry/mud room. Through recommendations we contacted Jerry from water fire and mold. Part of the issue was the sewer pipe on our roof wasn’t sealed all the way causing water to flow onto our ceiling. So not only did they fix and seal that pipe, they cut out our ceiling, and trim removed the mold and then repainted the ceiling and trim and the whole area. I had a very bad leak from a toilet in my upstairs bathroom. I called Rotor rooter but they left and didn't come back in time. I saw Water Fire Mold in traffic, I called the number on the van and wouldn't you know it I got the owner immediately. They stopped and came to my home with no delay. Water Fire Mold started the job instantly and communicated with my insurance company. Roto rooter showed back up and I told them to leave and go fix some drains as they didn't know how to perform restoration work. They even left the toilet leaking upstairs but Water Fire Mold had another plumber on site in 30 minutes!!

Water Fire Mold found all of the damage stopped it from getting worse and performed the work on a weekend as I work during the week. Everyone from the company was super nice and I trusted them.. There is something about having the owner of the company on site daily and doing the work that makes me trust them even more... I doubt I would have gotten that from any other restoration/ water damage company..

I had water get into my nicely finished basement and was recommended to contact Jerry Monaco from Water Fire Mold company and I’m glad I did and so will you if you need a knowledgeable, professional and compassionate person to deal with your problem. Where there’s water there is probably mold as well as was the case with me. They take care of everything trash, water and midigation. My wife has sensitivity to oders dust etc and Jerry came up with a spray with no oder and added more plastic doorways to block dust getting into the upstairs. Insurance did not cover anything so Jerry was able to keep the cost reasonable.
