VCV services inc was hired to sand and stain my concrete floors throughout my whole house. VCV breached contract multiple times by going over the agreed upon time (start 04-20-2020 finish 04-27-2020). VCV would not tell me that they needed more time unless I made contact with them which in turn caused me to have to keep pushing back other workers that were supposed to be coming in to do other work. VCV caused me to have to reschedule with these other workers 3 different times. This lack of ability to maintain the agreed upon timeline caused us to have to extend our lease at our rent house which forced us to have to pay rent and mortgage. They caused more damage to my property than the “half payment up front” that they required. They did NOT use a filtration system during the sanding process leaving a thick layer of concrete dust through my entire house which in turn caused me to have to pay an HVAC group nearly $500 to clean out. VCV broke tile in the master bathroom shower, they left multiple deep gouges and shallow craters in the concrete. VCV sprayed floor stain all over my interior doors, walls, and door jams nearly 4’ High throughout the entire house costing me 4,500 to have a painter come in and make repairs. VCV failed to tape off or remove smoke detectors prior to service causing them to become so clogged with concrete dust that they had to be replaced. VCV broke the window runners in my storm room causing my window to just flop around when you open and shut it. They left tile chips and cigarette buts in my garbage disposal which in turn caused the disposal to seize up. They only put 1 coat of clear coat down on the floor and there are grass/dirt particles visible. They got floor stain all over the exterior base the guest room bathtub. I have been advised by another concrete company that there is not really any possible way to fix the floor other than to put flooring down to cover it up.
When confronted by other actual professional contractors about his blunders of not using a filtration system when sanding or taping off the walls, ceiling fans, or removing the doors Pryor to spraying stain, the owner of VCV advised that this is his standard method of procedure. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Look them up online in ODCR and you will find multiple law suites against them. VCV Services Inc down HORRIBLE work. They’re out to get a quick buck and not provide quality service.
